@@matacurrei5665 I have like 300 owned games from xbox 360 era to Series era so I play them also. And its great to be able to play Game Pass too Day One games, no need to pay 70€ for new games. Also when I travel I do play Game Pass with laptop and phone... just have my xbox controller with me and bluethooth earphones :) Console still is my main thing tho. So, dont worry. Im satisfied with the whole xbox eco-system.
@TNTahir I dont like single player movies and xbox controller is perfect to my hand. And xbox has much more co-op / online first party games so ofcourse the community and community support is better. What anybody prefers games and controller vice anyhow is matter of taste and personal but I prefer xbox's. You have right to prefer Play Station.

Backward compatibility is one reason I sticked with xbox from xbox360 era onwards. 360 was my first xbox and it was so good. Game Pass (I can play games on the go with my phone and laptop too) , Series X runs all my owned games from 3 generation so its like money has been well spend. There is some games I would like to play from PS side like bloodborne but it would be too pricey to buy ps5 for just a few games. Xbox Series S u can get 200 € with 3 month game pass (in my country) good option for new or causal gamers or for second console...again Sony dont offer anything even close to that deal...
After owning all three through this generation, I stuck with the Seres X. Their 1st party library is insane now, Game Pass is the best deal in gaming and better console features with an open ecosystem. It's not even a hard choice.
I think Game Pass definitely allows the Xbox to win imo. I'd rather pay £50-£60 a year for a load of games rather than a single new game for that price. Any new games not on Game Pass I just buy 2nd hand lol

I don’t see how it’s cheaper in the long run getting a Series S. You mean buying a cheaper console and then pay a monthly subscription for a few years and in the end you don’t own any of them but the cheap Series S and then you’re stuck in the ecosystem and have to keep giving them your money just to play. What do you do when you only play a couple times a month? You know people lives are different and some people simply don’t have time or maybe even the energy to play every single day or week. Paying a monthly subscription to play just a few times a month isn’t worth it at all. Then imagine having to renew the subscription every other month or whenever you get more time to play and didn’t want to keep paying that subscription for the time you didn’t have to play. Getting a PS5 or even a Series X on which I can most of the time find all the games that you can download, but on disk and also most of the time much cheaper than if you were to buy them online on the PlayStation store for example, and the price difference is usually half the price of the online offering at least where I’m living because I haven’t checked how it is all over the world with physical games but at least you own the thing in the end and can play it long into the future and also sell it. All this subscription based model is getting out of hand, sooner or later you’ll need a subscription to be able to drive your own car if it isn’t already put in place through charging means that I’m not aware of in some places on the globe.
I agree with you. I don’t understand why getting a séries S, you will need to keep paying subscription forever. I just got a series X because I don’t play everything single day, it may takes half year to me complete red dead redemption and halo infinite, so I always buy physical games. But what made me pissed off is that Xbox just announced this week that they won’t sell physical games anymore, they fired Everyone and shut down the physical games department. Here in Japan it was already hard to buy Xbox physical games, we needed to buy 2hand from USA or Europe, now it will be impossible.
I've been an Xbox fan ever since the 360 first launched in 2005. If it weren't for the backwards compatibility, controller comfort, left thumb stick above the dpad, the exclusives, and the history of games that I purchased throughout the course of 10 years I would DEFINATELY choose the PS5 as my console
I think that the future of Xbox is going to be great not just with games but with the console as well. Xbox seems like they are ready to just let people play games where they want on what ever device they want.

Just got a series x Xbox, loving it, so glad I can still use my one S controller, I haven’t opened my new controller yet. Another thing I loved is the quick resume. But on the other hand, I hate the fact I can no find physical games, when I find they cost almost double of ps5 games. Used resident evil 4 on ps5 is around 30U$, on Xbox 60U$. Although I like Xbox gamepass, I don’t have many time free, so I cannot enjoy it, I don’t feel good to pay one month subscription and play 5 days, I still love physical games, because I play slowly. But for sure when hellblade is out, I’ll get gamepass and enjoy it
In 2021 I upgrade from a ps4 to a Series S because at the time I couldn’t get my hands on a PS5 because people were pricing that sucker for like $800 at the time. Eventually I got a ps5 slim this past Black Friday so I have both.
I bought an Xbox Series X back in January as I thought on paper it was the best console. I wished I had got a PS5 and so I just picked up a PS5 digital edition (the new one you can add the drive later) for 350 in a sale and signing up to PS extra to play the exclusives and might get the disc drive for it later down the line, not so fussed right now. Thinking if I should sell the xbox to fund the PS5 now I feel not much use for the xbox as I have been loving the PS5. But I am looking forward to Fable so maybe not and for now it opens up the disc drive option for me to play older games.

The PS5 was the right one for me. I had PS4 discs that needed to be played. And PlayStation was my choice because of Kingdom Hearts, before it was ported to Xbox. But I did get a cheap Xbox one s for a few x360/ps3 era games that weren’t ported to ps4 and became unavailable on PlayStation. Games such as the Lords of Shadow trilogy, the Sonic Adventure ports, Sonic Unleashed, Dante’s Inferno, etc.
Am I opinion for how about 90% the exactly same game library so what I can understand to is pick the console that has the exclusive games that you like better

I want to play games with my friends absolutely that is a valid as well, but ultimately your decision to get whatever console that you want. I went with Xbox actually, because I value backwards, compatibility more than current gen exclusives, but because of that backwards, compatibility, it plays more games that I want. But regardless of my decision on getting Xbox, I grew up on PlayStation right all the way to ps4

Yea PlayStation has always been a really loud console. One thing I like about the Xbox is how quiet it is and reliability is huge at least for me my Xbox is way more reliable than my PS5

Xbox is good if you're a more extroverted type of gamer. Especially if you have friends on PC. PC is in the Xbox ecosystem. We have Xbox Series X and S and a modest PC and me and my daughter's can all play together.
Yea I play Minecraft with my son. I am on pc he is on his Xbox. Xbox does make it easier to play together I feel at least cross platform. Happy to hear your gaming with your kids!

I'm a PS gamer but i also like games exclusive to Xbox. The console war is in a cold state in my opinion. If you are a heavy gamer you'd have both subscriptions and use them to their strengths. You're spot on with getting the ultimate game pass and with the PlayStation pass you also get a ton of games you've might of passed on but get to play them without buying them figuratively speaking. The Xbox isn't the better system because of the VR and Portal accessories hands down. Great job by the way but there's no comparison. Say a young one wants to play but the console is in their living room... The Portal controller solves that dilemma. VR is amazing that most of if not all gamers would enjoy budget permitting. This year's Xbox line up looks promising so hopefully there's great gaming to come regardless of which console is your main system. Great vid keep up the good work.

I've had issues with several brand new ps5 controllers where the buttons start to get stuck.. so annoying because these controllers are expensive. I prefer the xbox controller more due to it being more comfortable for me.
Xbox is not only the brand that I have been with since I was 6 years old with the OG Xbox BUT it is also the brand that respects my time and money more so than Playstation, not to mention, call of duty on gamepass day one now BLACK OPS 6 baby!!
If you are on a budget or experimental then the Xbox with Game Pass. If you want big budget cinematic games and Japanese games then PS5. They all serve me in different ways but I use my PS5 more since it offered next gen experience more.
I’m wondering if Xbox series X would be best for me. I mostly play cod and battlefield and sports games online. Also the Xbox controller seems to be more ergonomic than ps5 controller. I’m not really into ps5 exclusives.
i used too be that one gamer only picking one side but i do both sadly both have good games too miss out on and i own a switch and i own a gaming pc so i own all platforms on my ps1 i emulate my games ps1 ps2 ps3 psp ps vita game boy color games and advance games ds wii n64 games wii games game cube games wii u switch games 3ds games i can emulate . for retro stuff iam good but for modern on my my consoles i also own a ps2 slim and aps4 slim my ps4 slim and ps2 are modded . my ps4 slim is staying on 9.00
For me, ps5 has a better controller and games. I had an Xbox one S, it’s good for most games. I have Plus Premium, mostly to play trials and games I don’t wanna buy. I had Game Pass, the games may be newer, but they are Xbox games. Both look great on my Ults 4K tv, but I prefer God Of War, Unchrted, Days Gone and many more games. Personally, I dislike FPS games, so a lot of Xbox and PlayStation games I don’t wanna play. I also have a switch to play Mario games. I went with PS5 because I have over 300 physical PS4 games in my collection from last generation and above all else is because I play mostly JRPGs and visual novel games which sadly Xbox lack in these departments. I love owning my games and xbox seems to be getting away from the idea of physical ownership so for me its a no brainer. I cant get behind game pass. I am not into western games so for me, most of the xbox lineup being mostly western games just does not appeal to me.
Dang that’s an awesome collection. I wish I kept that many games. I think game pass has its place. I think it has allowed for some smaller games to get noticed which is awesome!
If you get a console for your kid and he knows the brand that he wants either get him that brand or don’t buy him a system at all. Nobody wants the cheaper option. Most kids these days will throw away the cheaper option because they didn’t get what they want so you might as well not buy it
xbox has dev mode u can do emulation ps1 ps2 psp gamecube ii windows 98 pc games snes sega saturn and more thats another thing i like about it i can play any classic !
The only reason I always get the playstation is for gran turismo, I'm obsessed with that game, is Forza Motorsport that much different in terms of so-called car simulation.
I have not played a grand turismo in a while but I think they are pretty much the same. The one thing about forza that is way different is the forza horizon series.
Nice video. I appreciate the depth. For exclusives and upcoming ones you missed FF16 which came out last year and FF7 Rebirth that's coming this year. I know they aren't 1st party but they get treated as such by Sony as they're only going to PC after. Also I've noticed that a lot of female gamers tend to lean more towards Playstation cos of Final Fantasy games and jrpgs in general. So its one of the reasons why the PS5 is much more successful and has a more mainstream appeal. Xbox has a lot of good stuff coming still and 2024 looks to be a big year.
Those are pretty good points. I was focused on 1st party like you said. I like 16 but it dragged on too long for me. I am gonna get the first FF7 remake to play it again I got kinda far. I hope the save transfers if I played with PlayStation plus.
Many Final fantasy games are also in xbox and there is already rumour that FF16 will come to Xbox. And all Persona 3,4,5 games are in xbox and been in gamepass and there is more but for sure Play Station has more jrpg s. Im female but never really was big fan of jrpg gendre or other fantacy games. Xbox is the best they mangaed to realease Hifi Rush, Starfield and Redfall in 11 years. Sony hasn't had a single excluisve since 2013. Everyone knows that if you want the best content you need an xbox or a gaming pc with aceess to torrents so you can download microsofts games for free.

I game on PC and ps5, I got around 80h in starfield, uninstalled and rated at one star, for me this game is absolute garbage, I tried but it couldn't keep me entertained like RDR2 did, or even GTA online, even in oblivion I have like around thousands hours, and from PS games spider was fun, god of war was fun, demon souls and tlou too, for now I have no games for playstation which I could play so i'm playing FH5 on PC and D4 from time to time
Everyone has different opinions and enjoy different things. I. Don’t think starfield was perfect or even in the game of the year talks but I think it was a good game. If you have game pass it is worth a play

So again, why get an Xbox when PS5 is PS5 exclusives + Xbox exclusives + multiplats not held back by the Xbox Series S ? If one is going to be a multidevice owner PS5 + Switch 1/2 + PC have all your bases covered. The Xbox is better off being broken away from Microsoft to be 1. Xbox as a 100% separate and independent company so it can focus trying to sell xboxs and exclusives to give reason for people to buy an Xbox 2. I agree game pass is the best service anyone can have. This year alone you will have avowed and Indiana Jones that both cost $70.

Honestly it wasn't easy but I got them both, PS5 along side with the Switch and Wii in the living room and Xbox Series X in my bedroom. ☺️☺️👍👍💙❤️💚

@@natefoxretro i’ve had my Xbox for less than a month and already twice, i’ve been told I’ve should’ve gotten the PlayStation five because it has more exclusives but that’s dumb because, even though the PlayStation five has more exclusives, that’s not really relevant be because of I’m not interested in many of them.
That’s why I went with ps5. More exclusive games i want to play. Plus i had ps4 and 20+ games that i can still play.

Yea PlayStation has always been a really loud console. One thing I like about the Xbox is how quiet it is and reliability is huge at least for me my Xbox is way more reliable than my PS5
You should NEVER buy a series S. Save up a little more and get the X. You will have buyers remorse immedietly. The S should not exist IMO.

Xbox is good if you're a more extroverted type of gamer. Especially if you have friends on PC. PC is in the Xbox ecosystem. We have Xbox Series X and S and a modest PC and me and my daughter's can all play together.

I'm a PS gamer but i also like games exclusive to Xbox. The console war is in a cold state in my opinion. If you are a heavy gamer you'd have both subscriptions and use them to their strengths. You're spot on with getting the ultimate game pass and with the PlayStation pass you also get a ton of games you've might of passed on but get to play them without buying them figuratively speaking. The Xbox isn't the better system because of the VR and Portal accessories hands down. Great job by the way but there's no comparison.
Say a young one wants to play but the console is in their living room... The Portal controller solves that dilemma. VR is amazing that most of if not all gamers would enjoy budget permitting. This year's Xbox line up looks promising so hopefully there's great gaming to come regardless of which console is your main system.

I've had issues with several brand new ps5 controllers where the buttons start to get stuck.. so annoying because these controllers are expensive. I prefer the xbox controller more due to it being more comfortable for me.

I would say the Xbox is probably the better option for those types of games especially with COD coming to gamepass might save some money that way.

For me, ps5 has a better controller and games. I had an Xbox one S, it’s good for most games. I have Plus Premium, mostly to play trials and games I don’t wanna buy. I had Game Pass, the games may be newer, but they are Xbox games.
Both look great on my Ults 4K tv, but I prefer God Of War, Unchrted, Days Gone and many more games.
Personally, I dislike FPS games, so a lot of Xbox and PlayStation games I don’t wanna play.
I also have a switch to play Mario games.

I went with PS5 because I have over 300 physical PS4 games in my collection from last generation and above all else is because I play mostly JRPGs and visual novel games which sadly Xbox lack in these departments. I love owning my games and xbox seems to be getting away from the idea of physical ownership so for me its a no brainer. I cant get behind game pass. I am not into western games so for me, most of the xbox lineup being mostly western games just does not appeal to me.

If you get a console for your kid and he knows the brand that he wants either get him that brand or don’t buy him a system at all. Nobody wants the cheaper option. Most kids these days will throw away the cheaper option because they didn’t get what they want so you might as well not buy it

The only reason I always get the playstation is for gran turismo, I'm obsessed with that game, is Forza Motorsport that much different in terms of so-called car simulation.
I have not played a grand turismo in a while but I think they are pretty much the same. The one thing about forza that is way different is the forza horizon series.

Nice video. I appreciate the depth. For exclusives and upcoming ones you missed FF16 which came out last year and FF7 Rebirth that's coming this year. I know they aren't 1st party but they get treated as such by Sony as they're only going to PC after. Also I've noticed that a lot of female gamers tend to lean more towards Playstation cos of Final Fantasy games and jrpgs in general. So its one of the reasons why the PS5 is much more successful and has a more mainstream appeal. Xbox has a lot of good stuff coming still and 2024 looks to be a big year.

I game on PC and ps5, I got around 80h in starfield, uninstalled and rated at one star, for me this game is absolute garbage, I tried but it couldn't keep me entertained like RDR2 did, or even GTA online, even in oblivion I have like around thousands hours, and from PS games spider was fun, god of war was fun, demon souls and tlou too, for now I have no games for playstation which I could play so i'm playing FH5 on PC and D4 from time to time
