have you watched sad but true?
James doesn't play many leads, but when he does they sound beautiful
_"yOu DoN't WaNnA hEaR mE sOLo"_ - The dude °./
@@arthurgabriel4325 yet he does on some songs :D
I'm a grown ass man and I have tears in my eyes seeing how moved you were! The girl gets it. Love it. Welcome to the family. Whether you know it or not, you're a metal head at heart. 🤘
Thank you so much! and welcome in!
I have always looked at Metallica as a Lighthouse. It's a beacon of light, for anyone looking for it!! #metallicafanforlife
@@BisscuteReacts you might also might enjoy a Fairley new song that they recorded with the San Francisco orchestra. It is called "No Leaf Clover.
@@mattyjay8896 it's a streak of bat's piss!
by which I mean.....when all around is dark, it shines out like a shaft of golden light.
:-)
Naser Al-Khalaileh Me Too, bud. It's like a baby's first steps.
A song that is somewhat forgotten when people talk Metallica. They talk Sandman, Master of Puppets, Horsemen, One, etc. But when you listen to Nothing Else Matters, you are reminded to the power it has. Elton John said it best, it is one of the best songs ever written. It has everything.
Yeah it is the best song agree 1000%
This is a masterpiece! Heck...I am old enough to have purchased the cassette tape of the album so I could listen to it in my Ford Crown Victoria!
Dammmm...I am getting old!
I think all those who started learning guitar at that time won't forget it, we all tried to play it asap, and the intro of the song was very helpful for that ^^
It's not considered 'cool' to talk about this song. It's a 'sellout' song. It's not 'metal', blah blah. Try hard metal bros. Just a dumb way to go through life.
I don’t think it’s a forgotten song as a full piece of music, but what most people don’t realize, what a killer piece of a Solo James is playing. Absolutely amazing.
You are the cutest young woman, your reactions are genuine, and YES, Metallica is an amazing band....grew up with them...never get tired of em!👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thank you so much!!
I couldn’t say it better! 👍🏻🤙🏻
I have said this before, and I will say it again. When you listen to good music, you hear it... but when you listen to great music, you feel it.
If you love this, then you should listen to Fade To Black by them - another emotional masterpiece with heavy lyrics. I promise you will love it! It's my favorite Metallica song (but I have many because it's really hard to choose 1 with this legendary band)
All time favorite.
Life it seems will fade away
Exactly. Or Sanitarium. Those are their much, much better slow songs. This is a carbon copy compared to those. Unfortunately, she’s taking suggestions from “later” fans of Metallica.
@@frankiek2269 I don’t think she really cares. She’s just enthusiastic about Metallica regardless of when the song was released.
@@joeb4142 I like both old and new. I forgot the name but they have a new song that they recorded with the San Francisco orchestra. They even brought back Jason newstead.
This song is about missing their family on the road...the message behind it is a sweet as the song itself
It's refreshing to still see young generation listeners to get emotional over a guitar solo. James seldomly writes and plays solos, but when he does, you know, because it is well constructed and hits emotionally. Great reaction!
Thank you! im glad you enjoyed it!
That guitar solo provides an emotional catharsis after the long build-up in the song. It's a masterpiece...
@8:54 that is the definition of the saying: making a guitar sing... and you really felt it. Thank you this very beautiful reaction.
Thank you! :)
32 years ago this song was the bomb and it still holds true for a lot of us GenX'ers. It is what it is, and nothing else matters. 😢
Every time I hear James yell "Yeah!" It's like he's screaming in the faces of Life & Death and it gets me emotional. James will always be a god to me.
A lot of people put Lars down, but there'd be no Metallica if it wasn't for him. He's also one of the drummers to bring double-bass drumming into the forefront.
💯
It’s funny, if you listen to interviews with James from around that time, recording this album was where he learned he knows how to sing - up until that point he didn’t believe he could actually do it properly.
I really enjoy seeing the band members smiling and enjoying their time, especially knowing how stressful and taxing making this album was on them.
i have stressful job, dont make milions and still.. im smiling 😀
@@4md17 bro thinks we care 🤣🤣😹😹😭😭🙏🙏💯💯‼️‼️
@@4md17 nobody cares, clown.
This song was truly a masterpiece by the band. What you're calling rasp in James'voice is actually called vocal Frye and not many people did it like James. A one of a kind voice in his prime. You should listen to Fade to Black.
4:30 I love that you pointed out that guitar part. Most reactions don't mention it and imo it's such a cool and important part of the music!
You are the definition of how music is supposed to make you feel I can see the joy in your heart 💖 it's beautiful
The people who don't listen to hard rock / metal never get to understand the emotional roller-coaster that a song such as this can take you on. The sign of a great song is the emotion that it evokes in every individual in their our personal way.
When this album was released I discoverd Metallica and without lying this album was played at least six months straight in my sony walkman both on the way to work, at work and home. One of the best albums ever made if you ask me. So pleasing when you in the younger generations find these treasures and love them as we did. Great reaction as always! Thank you!
The song is about beeing yourself and believeng in yourself no matter cost. Nothing else matters... It's the anthem on generation. The anthem of freedom...
The moment you started to tear up is when I knew that you don't just listen to the music but you feel the music and that's a very important part of the experience.
One of there greatest albums that they didn't like making. They were at each other's throats all because of a producer.
That drop gives me chills every time
BISCUTE!! You must react to "Welcome Home Sanitarium " but at their live show in Seattle 1989! It's magical! I'm a female too and this song moves me! So far all your Metallica reactions, I agree, or feel the same way or similar that you've described! Us female Metallica fans kind of like certain songs they've made and this one I've suggested, is definitely one of those! It's magical! I know you will love it! 💘
My wife shares your name!!! But she spells it Meli.
Yes! Welcome Home Sanitarium is one of my all time favorites! 🤘
There is a cello version of this song here on youtube. I requested this to be played at the funeral of my sister. She was killed now 10 years ago in a motorcycle accident. The cello version (just 2 cellos, no singing) is extremely powerfull and emotional
I am sorry for your loss :(
One of the most remembered and greatest song of all time by far
Metallica was the first metal band i listened to as a kid. Any and all metallica songs are worth checking out, but they only have music videos for their later songs. The Unforgiven is a classic song with a cool video
Yeah I was hooked on metal instantly ever since I was 8 heard this album and I was sold for life
Yes The Unforgiven, one of my all time favorite Metallica songs!!! And that solo moves me like no other!! It's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, magical even!!!
I remember hearing Metallica when I was little because some older kids listened to them all the time.
Wherever I may roam, should be next. (OFFICAL VIDEO)
You're cute and your reaction is masterclass. Sometimes only musicians can identify little details that you had notice. Keep it up.!
The lyrics are so simple and direct yet so profound I am astounded.
This is the best reaction to this sing ive ever seen...
I have been a rock fan my whole life. Lars has always been my favorite drummer for the exact reasons you listed. He entertains! He is into every performance he makes. Never fails. Team Lars all the way.
C est grace a lui si j ai appris a jouer du drum
This is probably one of my top 3 Metallica songs.
I want to go back to 1993,,, where this song has a lot memories that i have passed,,,
Thanks ❤ your great reaction
There's a video of Metallica on the Howard Stern show. They talk with Elton John on Skype because Elton made a piano intro/outro for a cover of this song. He says that it's a great, melodic song. When he says that, James cries.
The way you light up when listening to music, is a true blessing....it really is how music should be enjoyed....forget the politics of why and what etc....You keep doing what you do, enjoy music in such a passionate way.....If more people saw the world like you do , it would be a MUCH better place :)
Aww those a such kind words! thank you! im glad you enjoy it!
Gracias totales
"never cared for what they do" "never cared for what they say"
I just take this song as being about being true to yourself and not caring if you "fit in" with the "herd". Not being afraid of being different or being yourself. Not caring as much about pretending to be what society or others want you to be. Being 1000% real.
Well said ❤
you have made me BACK IN TIME (my brother was alive....) THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lars moves you. That's the greatest achievement of an artist. That's really beautiful to see.
Takes me back to what great music we had, loved watching you enjoying the music, great reaction.
Great reaction! This song should always make an emotional response
One of the best songs ever written in the history of music
The best song ever, everyone forgot it but this song is a legend
It’s a great song
I've come to take this song for granted. Seeing her reaction makes me appreciate it again. Thanks young lady
I'm so happy to see you appreciate this song as much as I did when I first heard it. I love how you really listen to every detail with the instruments! Saludos!
I do not remember where I saw the interview, but in it James, the singer, was asked about the meaning behind the song and he said this song was a tribute to his wife, a love song if you will
Metallica - *Fade to Black* and you need to check out their 1989 Seattle Concert. Literally, any song is worth listening to. Best concert IMO.
Is a masterpiece.....and your reaction is perfect...I absolutely love you lol
Too many people out there saying they are a huge Metallica fan, but the only song they can come up with is Nothing Else Matters.
It drives me insane!!
thank you for this Bisscute .. good stuff
one of the most beautifull songs ever made!
I have to agree
9:35 James absolutely kills his 25 second solo. That's how you fucking do it.
you reacting to my most influencial Band of all time with your ingenuous character madae me almost cry, i have no clue who you are but i feel like ive seen a lot from yourself in this. i love this!
Such a great reaction. You nailed it!
Love your work Bisscute ❤️
This was the best reaction on all of UA-cam, you feel the music, the song and showed true emotion of feeling the song, you have a new fan and subscriber!
Truly one of Metallica's greatest songs and the lyrics say so much. So out of character with their other work. My Son even had this as the first song at his Wedding reception. Love your reactions and emotion.
Love this band, love this song, love this woman AND her reaction, she gets it and feels it, you can see it all over her face and mannerisms, she's feeling it. Glad you found the Metallica family and glad I found your channel, you're amazing! \m/
That guitar solo has always told a whole story in itself...❤
It's the whole song! It's done very well!!
I´m totally not a Rock or Metal Guy but this Guitar Solo is just....one of the best musical things ever happened
I love your reaction to this. This song remains one of my favorites..The guitar riff was so amazing it probably gave you the chills.
Awesome seeing someone fall in love with this song. Always one of my favorites. If you haven't already you should check out apocolytcas cover of this.
I really loved this reaction and the way you show your delight in the music. You have a lovely smile which always brightens my day.
I love how much you were getting into the song. The power of music
I also think this song is beautiful. I think your reaction is also wonderful.
Just discovered your channel tonight and I'm loving your reactions! Music is my escape, it's gotten me through many dark times, puts a smile on my face and sometimes even my heart! Love all different genres and how each one speaks to me and how I can feel each note of certain songs. Music is truly a language within itself. It's a joy watching you respond so raw to each song, having to go back and listen to certain parts over again, picking up on tiny nuances within the music. This is what music is about. It lifts our spirits, tells a story, gets our feet tapping and dancing, makes us cry, makes us laugh, makes us smile, gives us energy, quiets our souls, captures exactly what we feel. It makes us alive! Love your love of music! Have a lot of your reactions to catch up on 😃
I've been listening to this song since middle school. It's still my favorite song by Metallica. When you said you needed to hear it again, I completely understood. It's one of the best songs ever written in my opinion.
Its amazing ❤️
I also cried with you. Thank you for reaction.
I love the way you feel the music !! You're very sensitive ! 😍
Only heard this just a few years ago... absolute masterpiece in so many ways!
Good tune...I almost cry myself everytime I drum to this song.....soooo beautiful and I feel you!
Fun fact, this was originally a song that Papa Het wrote for his girlfriend at the time and ended up on the record.
Recently hooked up to watching your reaction videos ngl its really enjoying and I really like how you tend to notice the subtleties in the music like the backing guitars and vocals etc..things other reactors usually overlook. You give a genuine reaction that's what I feel.👍
Real sweet reaction!👌🤩
My wife and I used the apocalyptic cover of this as our song for our first dance. Plus the music notes at the part of "Life is ours we live it our way" were on our wedding cake
I'm in tears watching this with you. What an incredibly beautiful piece of music
Thank you ❤️
@@BisscuteReacts you have to do Harvester of Sorrow
One of my favorites So beautiful 🖤🤘🏻
One of my favourite songs it's awesome
Absolutely Love your reaction to the solo so much! Especially your little "Whoa" at 9:03 :)
great video thanks for sharing,I love the song,so classic
The way you reacted to James’s “ yeah yeah “ to kick off the build up to an epic solo pretty much shows that you get it! I completely understand about you feeling consumed with the music 100% during portions of the song and not worrying about the meaning of the lyrics ! But also appreciating that James can tell a story and have his angry voice be music to your ears! Nice review
My daddy used to play this sing for my mom while she took bubble baths. He was a genius on the guitar, could play any Metallica song just as good as they did. He used to play Enter Sandman to put me to sleep at night I miss him and his guitar very much. It was his only love language.
Love the detail parts about music and guitar tones you were saying in this Metallica song. I love everything about "Nothing else's Matters". And yess, the climaks is the solo part of James. Goosebumps every time i hear it. Really appreciate your reaction so much. Keep it up.
Such a great song.
There is another beautiful version of this, " Nothing Else Matters( Elevator Version )" its James Hetfield singing playing acoustic guitar and symphony plays along, love your reactions, your name fits you cute, yes you´are cute. James Hetfield acturaly wrote it for himself NOT for Metallica but the other guys heard it and loved it. i remember James was nervous as it was a very personal song for him not meant to be on a Metallica album: Why did James Hetfield wrote Nothing Else Matters?
“Nothing Else Matters” is a ballad about being honest with your feelings and expressing them. In a 2012 interview with The Village Voice, Hetfield spoke about the intention of the track, its meanings and how it came to be: “It was a song for myself in my room on tour when I was bumming out about being away from home.
Even as not a huge Metallica fan this is one of the best songs of all time imo!!!
Right? It’s a great song ❤️
Great reaction to an excellent song. Thanks
You basically nailed the meaning too! It’s I believe written for his “ James’” wife!
and i love your reaction to this.
it's remind me to my childhood, i raised and grew up with metallica's song. my favorite song is master of puppet, seek and destroy, the unforgiven
Just watched this and I loved how you were moved ❤ This is one of my favorite songs/videos, just found your channel a couple of days ago, so glad I found you, love your reactions ❤ 😀
Thank you so much!! welcome
Every time I hear this song 🎧 I always recall exactly where I was & what I was doing! Even non Metallica fans new this song! That’s how popular this song was & still is after all these years! It always takes me back to that exact moment great feeling that you can’t describe! Those were the years how time flies by ☹️ great songs/music always touch your soul. Excellent reactions as always.
great great great reaction x
I love your reactions 💞💞
Thank you! You RULE!!!
its easy to understand this song, just easy as this: do what you want and believe in, and nothing else matters.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt reaction, Bisscute! I love how you feel the music and embrace the creation of the artists. Always a pleasure to listen to reactions. I do have a question that I've wanted to ask but have been too timid. Today I'll be bold and ask you. Your accent is absolutely beautiful and addictive. Where did you grow up to develop that beautiful way of speaking?
Love your reactions on the music of Metallica. Grew up with them, got almost every album. Love the change int their music styles. Stil my favorite band next to AC/DC. The darkest song is fade to black.
