Nah, after the classic trilogy, I think no more Goblins are necessary. If someone should be the final villain to nail Tobey's Spidey into the coffin, it should be Bruce Campbell Mysterio, him using illusions to make Peter face his inner demons, maybe then have Willem Dafoe Green Goblin beating him up if they really want some Goblin killing him. Dylan Baker Lizard also has to happen, tying into the father-daughter theme.

If Sony wanted to give the Hispanics more representation....WHY NOT DO SCORPION???? He was played by Hispanic actor, Michael Mando in the mcu, who you may know was Vaas from Far Cry. Scorpion was heavily built upon in homecoming and they did NOTHING with him. Scorpion is also one of Spideys most well known villains AND has an intriguing backstory that could actually work as a movie. Have the premise be his og comic origin where he signs up for the scorpion project so he can make extra money since he's broke, but he gets trapped in his suit and blames Jameson (we can even get JK Simmoms to return as JJJ since he's already in the mcu). Have Alistair Smythe, another Spidey rogue, be the main villain who wants to weaponize scorpion and keep him as his tool. Also, DO NOT make Scorpion an anti-hero or good guy. In comics (and mcu) he's a remorseless psychopath. It would be amazing to actually see a truly evil protagonist for once, which Michael Mando can absolutely deliver.
Considering the Scorpion figure appearing in the dimensional sky rift at No Way Home and Michael Keaton Vulture now in the Sonyverse, I'd say they might already be onto something. Idk about making him latino, that's the Ultimate gangster version. I prefer the 616 irish private investigator that got turned into a natural predator. He actually has a story with a scientist known as Stillwell, responsible for creating another Spidey villain, the Fly. You could have Fly be the "hero" while Scorpion would be the villain that was created to take down the criminal known as Fly.
Why can't they make a Superior Foes comedy movie? And if they can't have Spider-Man physically appear in it, just imply him existing or have him beat them off screen.

Lemme guess, the sequel will have him fight against Crusher Hogan and marry him, and we get Spider-Man down the line saying "did your husband give it to you?"
Why Bad Bunny tho? I mean, i'm not saying he absolutely can't pull it off but as someone who grew up watching lucha libre, I can't picture him backflipping into another guy 6 feet below him or jump diving like a 80kg bullet into the opponent but of course, he is not going to be doing the stunts anyways, the guy can barely speak, he obviously can't handle more head trauma.
How can they do characters that obscure and still be unaware of comics like the Deadly Foes (or Superior, since that's their most famous line-up), nothing better than a group of incompetent villains, they're Spider-Man rogues, but he doesn't even need to appear, it's great because it's the day to day of lovable B-C list criminals.
this is how I imagine the sony board room meeting went “quick, what’s an emerging market??” “um ummm I know, latinos!!!” “that’s good! okay who do latinos like??” “I got it”
Sony is only making these movies because they kind've have to in order to keep the Spider-Man rights out of the hands of one of their biggest rivals and reluctant partner Disney. Spider-Man and his rogues gallery is literally the only big IP they have in their entire catalogue. Maybe Ghostbusters, but that's being super generous after the controversy in 2016.
Not to mention that the US government is planning to get their copyright system back to normal because of stripping Disney of their copyright protections
Spider-Girl really does deserve her own movie or at least some attention in the mainstream media. I really liked those comics and it would be cool if they continue Sam Rami’s canon with her as NYC’s wall crawler. Now I’m getting excited for a good idea that probably will never happen 😔
So, Obscure unheard spidey villians who appeared in two issues get a film, but Superior Spider-Man doesn't get a film or game where he isn't just an alternate skin?
I want a movie about aunt may's doormat. Her literal doormat, I want them to make a movie about it. A full feature lenght film following the unbroken perspective of the doormat. You could even argue it's some experimental masterpiece, but I don't really care just make it into a movie.
They will. Any publicity is good publicity, even if that means Kevin Feige, Tom Hardy and Tom Holland alongside Marvel Studios and actors will cut off ties with you.
My theory is that they wanted to make a luchador superhero but Sony needed to use pre-existing characters for BRAND SYNERGY or smth so they went for the first marvel luchador superhero they could find.
Mobius also had multiple solo runs, team ups, and multiple appearances in other character comics besides Spidey. Like out of all Spidey villains he is one of the most disconnected from the Spider-Man himself.

Make him different, more faster an athletic than the other Goblins. And We can actually embrace the colorful campy style of a classic comic book, play with the colors but we still have an emotional story of a teenage girl trying to make her father proud with her new gift as a coming of age, father/daughter relationship story. And at the end, Peter dies! May Parker knows what she must do and what Peter would want her to do; that's to be Spider-Girl, as we see his tomb is next to his aunt and uncle's tomb, she stands there and talks to Peters and tells him _"I will never let you down, dad... because you told that with great power, (tears up) comes great responsibility."_ The movie ends with the final swing like the Raimi films but it's in a first person POV. She swings to a large window were we see her reflection with her legs straighten to kick through the class, passing through the shards of glass, transitioning to black. So. What do you think..?"
SONY: "*PPFF. Bitch please, we have a cinematic universe to build off of. Our next movie is a wrestler nobody heard of with a magic mask. He's the one who needs a franchise here. Get out!*"
Speaking of Peter and Mary Jane's daughter I really hope we get to see Annie from Renew Your Vows in the next spider-verse movie. Preferably the cute little kid not the wierd teen one from the later series.
@@-Teague- true
Nah, after the classic trilogy, I think no more Goblins are necessary. If someone should be the final villain to nail Tobey's Spidey into the coffin, it should be Bruce Campbell Mysterio, him using illusions to make Peter face his inner demons, maybe then have Willem Dafoe Green Goblin beating him up if they really want some Goblin killing him. Dylan Baker Lizard also has to happen, tying into the father-daughter theme.
@@radrno7 lol bruh Mysterio was gonna be a joke in the original
@@-Teague-
Yeah, so? That was the original draft. After 15 years, the story is bound to change. Raimi can do what he wishes to do if there ever came to be a 4th movie, what I'm trying to say is that he has no obbligation to follow the Mayday comics. Just like Logan, take what you can get, but stick to your own thing to make that good film.
I've got a better idea, let's give Slyde, the villain who used non-stick cooking spray to commit crimes, his own 140 minute movie (I'm joking)
Ok but if we got a comedy about Slyde and other ineffectual gimmick villains like The Wall and Trapster working together I wouldn’t complain
@@ShibuNub3305 that would be hilarious and I pull genuinely watch that
@@ShibuNub3305 I want a scene at the beginning of the next Tom Holland spiderman movie where he fights a group of loser villains like the kangaroo and stuff and beats them easily but then is late for work/class. Quintessential spiderman right there 😂
"If you were morbidly curious about Morbius, but found out it was more BS..."
Nice one, sir! Top notch alliterative punmanship.
I find it absolutely INSANE that we got a solo movie based on a character that only appeared in 2 issues BEFORE we got a solo movie about the green goblin. You could definitely make a solo movie about how Norman is going insane and killing people, but this?
Willem Dafoe: "If you want, the movie is yours. All it takes is one phone call."
Sony won't stop until they make a movie about every single ancillary Spider-Man character. Big Wheel, Kangaroo, White Rabbit, Walrus, Spider-Cide, Joystick, Judas Traveler, Vermin, Hypno Hustler, Slyde..... your time has come.
They seemingly haven't planned a Black Cat movie and that makes me angry.
He was also Hispanic in Spiderverse
Considering the Scorpion figure appearing in the dimensional sky rift at No Way Home and Michael Keaton Vulture now in the Sonyverse, I'd say they might already be onto something.
Idk about making him latino, that's the Ultimate gangster version. I prefer the 616 irish private investigator that got turned into a natural predator. He actually has a story with a scientist known as Stillwell, responsible for creating another Spidey villain, the Fly.
You could have Fly be the "hero" while Scorpion would be the villain that was created to take down the criminal known as Fly.
@@radrno7 Actually he was a defective clone of Peter initially.
Sony: "We have no idea what the hell we're doing."
Sony HAD to dig deep to even find out about El Muerto. You don't just stumble on a villain who appeared in 2 issues
I like how the first Hispanic marvel character in live action is not miles or Miguel O’Hara, but El Muerto.
Sony defo gonna make a movie about the ground that Gwen broke her back on next
It wasn't the ground it was the whiplash from the web that caught her by the leg that snapped her neck
@@tyronleung5276 web the movie
At this point I would’ve preferred an Aunt May prequel where she’s a C.I.A undercover agent if the alternative is El goddamn Muerto.
Why can't they make a Superior Foes comedy movie? And if they can't have Spider-Man physically appear in it, just imply him existing or have him beat them off screen.
I don't even think obscure comic book character movies are a bad idea for a movie sony just doesn't know how to make them interesting Guardians of the galaxy and The sucide squad proved it
The guardians aren’t a supervillain team…
@@comicalcosmonaut959 i know i'd initially edited it from obscure characters
9:37 this aged like beautiful fine wine, my friend
Can't wait for El Muerto's catchphrase, "Let's Muerto."
I need a Big wheel movie PLSSS
I didn’t say it on the actual video because it just now hit me, but I’m legitimately happy for you getting to meet the Great Ashley Williams. You deserve it dude. Just a good kid making good honest content
Finally someone see the potential of a Spider-Girl movie or series! Make THAT HAPPEN
Dude! A Superior Foes movie would be F🕸️ING AWESOME! You know what, screw it! I've been deciding what to read this evening you've helped me with that! Thanks man! I'll just bust out the old trades and give it a re-read.
Imagine if it turns out El Muerto is a joke like the Hit-Monkey game and Bad Bunny is actually playing Spider-Man 2099.
I find it so baffling that Hollywood keeps putting Jared Leto into everything. I get that he has like, a “cult”, but ever since his performance as Joker he’s been seen as nothing but a punchline by most people.
Hope ur having a good day man
Sony better make a Frog Man movie.
The Wall could get a whole trilogy of movies
The “Freak vs Phreak” idea got me good
Villians they should use:
*literally any good villian from spiderman like green goblin, doc ock, electro, sandman, rhino and etc*
Nah I'd rather those be saved for the MCU, lord knows we need more villains for Spidey in that universe that aren't people mad at Iron Man
@@reddeadspartan
Why have another Green Goblin or Doc Ock? They know they won't ever surpass the ones they already used in No Way Home, so just let Sony use those. I'd pay a lot more for an awesome solo movie just on Willem Dafoe playing Green Goblin rather than another meh MCU villain that has nothing to do with Spider-Man.
God dammit I will be seeing Across the Spider-Verse at least twice in theaters just to do my part in animation being recognized as a legitimate story telling medium for people of all ages and demographics.
There was a Spider-Man video about *The Wall,* so it wouldn’t be a surprise if Sony made a TV series from it.
I mean, it started in *The Electric Company.*
I’m convinced Bad Bunny showed up at Sony asking for the movie to be made since he loves wrestling and they just went “yeah sure”
When will Sony finally just give us what we all want? A movie about Alpha, the most widely known and loved Spider-Man supporting character.
I'm disappointed Sony didn't gave the White Rabbit her own movie and instead we're getting discount Bane
XAVIER POSTED ON A FRIDAY LETS GOOOOO
If don’t wanted a Hispanic character to use they had Black Tarantula, and uhhhhhhh what’s nam- wait SPIDER-MAN 2099
I can’t believe they’re making a movie based on my favourite Spidermen character! Holy moly I’ve been asking this for years. Watch out morbheads and haters!! Sony is gonna make the cinema great again!!! Another marvel legend has arrived. #ElMuerto #ElMuertoHype #ElMuertoSweep #ThankYouAviArad #ThankYouSony
I really wanted that Hit Monkey game.
Imagine wanting to make a Hispanic Protagonist Movie, and out of all of the ones you have, out of all of the ones people love, you decided to make a Movie for the one no one cared to remember.
Lemme guess, the sequel will have him fight against Crusher Hogan and marry him, and we get Spider-Man down the line saying "did your husband give it to you?"
Sony is trolling us so bad.
The Wall needs to get his own movie considering he is THE best spiderman villian.
When do we get our Slide movie?! Xavier has been waiting for so long!
“Aye wayment, this isn’t the moon knight review” (also hope you feel better soon!)
As an Mexican myself I hate bad bunny isn't worth it to have him In his own movie
I'm honestly surprised that Amy Pascal hasn't tried to convince Sony to give "Man-Killer" her own movie.
I've wondered about who fully owns the rights to Typhoid Mary since one of her personalities originated in an issue of Spider-Man.
I want the infamous DC comics villain to have his own move, trilogy, and video game. That villain being "The Conceptual CONDIMENT KING!"
And kiteman
@@sebaslikesanimations1447 of course
Don't Forget Flamingo
this is how I imagine the sony board room meeting went
“quick, what’s an emerging market??”
“um ummm I know, latinos!!!”
“that’s good! okay who do latinos like??”
“I got it”
Sony is only making these movies because they kind've have to in order to keep the Spider-Man rights out of the hands of one of their biggest rivals and reluctant partner Disney.
Morbius cancelled everything with vampires? Goddamnit.
Sony needs to make a movie on The Wall. His fight with Spider-man was the most emotionally invested I could ever be in a comic
I feel like Xavier is making this series so he can talk about every single thing that's been announced and put it in to one video
Yeah
Spider-Girl really does deserve her own movie or at least some attention in the mainstream media. I really liked those comics and it would be cool if they continue Sam Rami’s canon with her as NYC’s wall crawler. Now I’m getting excited for a good idea that probably will never happen 😔
I’m gonna be honest reset the DCEU just completely reset it and they can always have The Batman movies and Co be like multiverse stories
So, Obscure unheard spidey villians who appeared in two issues get a film, but Superior Spider-Man doesn't get a film or game where he isn't just an alternate skin?
I actually really love your Mayday Parker spidergirl idea
Loved that intro! and the Barry Allen/Mera replacements!!! Great show!
I want a movie about aunt may's doormat.
Her literal doormat, I want them to make a movie about it. A full feature lenght film following the unbroken perspective of the doormat.
You could even argue it's some experimental masterpiece, but I don't really care just make it into a movie.
I can't wait for Sony to make the Skip Westcott spin off
I hope to god they don't
Whatever format this video is I really enjoyed you just updating everyone on what's happening in pop culture keep up the good work
This was a really great news video! Thankd
I think they don’t wanna make a movie that had to follow comic material since he’s obscure.
Babe wake up, GodzillaMendoza posted
5:38 (and the other Deadpool panel shots): That’s me behind the laptop. 😀
They just confirmed the Xenophage as the main villain of the 3rd Venom movie 😅😅😅 Congrats for getting it right
How about a movie starring Mr. Zodiac, that memorable guy who can transform into the Zodiac signs? Get your tickets now! 😃
After this movie, I'm expecting to get a movie of the Spider-Man villain, The Wall , in the near future.
How many times did that brick wall guy show up i think we need an entire film octilogy exploring his character
10:19 That’s What Disney Infinity 4.0 was going to do before it was canned because Disney shuted down their game studio.
SONY will make a movie out of anything
Mobius also had multiple solo runs, team ups, and multiple appearances in other character comics besides Spidey.
Like out of all Spidey villains he is one of the most disconnected from the Spider-Man himself.
Vampires are not cool anymore because of Twilight and I am NOT being ironic.
I think it’s funny how, when this was announced, there were shills on Twitter trying to say they were fans of the character and compared it to the guardians of the galaxy when that was announced 😂😂
I can’t wait for “the wall” or “the wheel” to be adapted into a hardcore villain movie
A movie about Ben Reily as the clone of spider-man without peter parker OR spider-man in it, and just call it "Ben"
Where's my god damn Skip Wescott movie Sony?
Yes please
I bet their going to make a movie about the wall
11:28 THANK YOU!!!
This is the the cinema equivalent of writing your essay at the last minute.
