I want to make sure I understood what you did. Did you put a coat of primer between the white paint and the metallic paint? For better adhesion of metallic paint? I hope I made sense. Lol
Lana, with this vase there was no primer, just black chalk paint and then metallic paint. In my other projects, I never use metallic paint on glass without priming it first. Metallic paint is not chalk paint and therefore does not grip glass well enough. I hope this answered your question. If not, feel free to ask :)

What kind of wax do you use
I used Vintage Paint clear wax. Any clear wax will do :)
