Great tips, it's so important to pay attention to those little things that really matter so much if we want our creations to last! Especially priming, this is so important, and actually your tips works for painting plastic too! Thanks for sharing this!!
I am so delighted to have found this channel! I am starting a small business that eventually will cover all my arts, craft, and writing artworks, but right now I am focusing on the natural tobacco-free smoking blend market, carving interesting traditional wooden pipes with carved relief faces, vines and things; and hand-blowing glass jars to hold the blend, and I was REEAAAAAAALLLY wanting to learn how to paint those jars! Thank you thank you thank you!
Thanks for the video. Have you tried using Fusion Mineral Paint? Prep is like yours, clean the jar & use some rubbing alcohol. Then paint directly on the glass. I have used this on glass vases and it works great. No need for primer either! :D

Thanks
Does this method work on the surface of a mirror. I have an old mirror but I like the shape and size. I live in Brisbane Australia, can you tell me where I may be able to purchase these goods Many thanks Di

I'm painting glass for the first time and the glass box will be sitting outdoor exposed to sun, rain etc.
Is there a hack to leave most of a glass bottle clear and paint snowflakes on it? I wanted to make some for gifs and put fairy lights in the bottles. I just don’t want to block the entglass bottle with paint. Love your channel! New sub. ❤

Thanks. I needed more info than given though. A couple examples of possible base coat, but no explanation of paint type? A homemade chalk paint with it kept a mystery unless I go watch more videos? My goal is to limit time on videos, so my life does not go down the drain. It's always a turn off to me when videos play these games of intentional vagueness/ incompleteness, forcing you to actually go to more videos, etc, to actually get the answers.
Hey bud, stfu, grow a backbone, the world doesnt revolve around you. Why should she dig up that old video, splice it into this one (increasing file size and render/upload time.)
I’m with you completely-in this case though I think she’s actually saying that the homemade chalk paint is her end goal but you can use whatever, the trick/tip part of this is using one of the spray paints she showed first Even if I’m right it wasn’t communicated super clearly
Are you able to transfer an image to the painted bottle using mod podge and rubbing off the paper after. I've tried it and can't get all the paper off without rubbing off a good amount of paint. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Could i use gilding wax over that painted jar? Ive a vanity and beneath the mirror is a small piece of glass thats crackled and looks bad. Was hoping to cover it with the gold i was using on the vanity? Help
Streamlines steps for painting glass (because this video is not to the point) 1. use rubbing alchol to clean the bottle 2. use spray paint 3. Make chalk paint (Mix 1 cup of Latex paint, 1/3 of a cup of warm water, 1/3 of a cup of plaster of paris) 4. Paint with chalk paint twice
That is how you paint glass so it won’t chip or peel off with a chalk paint. If you try to use any other type of paint, you won’t have success. Thanks for watching.

Have you heard of using coat modpodge first ?
How do you get a smooth finish with no streaks? I have tried painting jars many times and they always have streaky lines from the paintbrush.
You can sponge on your last coat and that will get rid of a lot of streaks
Thanks so much for sharing
