We need some more Marshall Bass amps!!!
I have built replicas of "Murder One" (based on a Marshall Super Bass '77) and "Marsha" (based on a Marshall Super Lead Reissue '96). Now I'm working on my third Lemmy amp "Killer" (based on a JCM 2000 TSL). If you a intersted Lemmys music and bass sound, then pick up your instrument and visit my "Lemmy Bass" channel : )
Ampeg all the way. Aic has the best bass tone. The armpeg paired with the Warwick with the fluence pickups is unbeatable. The worst tone is mudvayne now. They went from the best bass to the worst ripoff
The only question now remains is why doesn’t Marshall reissue these monster signature amps?
Because it's all outsourced to China

because a bunch of greedy guitar players will buy them leaving none for bassists
They didn’t sell well on the first run, tubes are becoming obsolete now, the amps would cost an outrageous amount.
@@regortex3364 Tubes are not obsolete. Especially in the bass world. Things have come close to the sound of tubes, but nothing has ever sounded exact.
I could listen to this all day, beautiful, almost piano like, tones .
4 by frickin 15 monster cab, the full stack must have moved mountains
I don’t know about moving mountains I’ve heard the Murder One full stack fully cranked it’s a wall of pain for anyone not wearing ear protection. It certainly moves the audience when they hear it and they all turn their heads and wince at the wall of sound hitting them.
A Marshall super bass is my dream amp. Always hoping for a reissue at some point.
There's a few floating around on market place and ebay circa mid '70s

I own an 86 MK II and it's a nice amp but the heads are a bitch to maintain without blowing a fuse
Ceriatone makes a great Super Bass clone that sells for around 1500 USD. I’ve got one and it’s a phenomenal amp. It also works great as a guitar amp as well.
♠🍀♥ I had to build the "Murder One" replica by myself. After years of research I've built three replicas of "Murder One", "Marsha" and "Killer", it was a long way but now I'm so happy and can't stop playing. If you're interested in Lemmy's bass sound and playing style, check out what I've been up to since the great man left us. We should keep his legacy alive and it's so much fun playing and singing his songs as loud as possible. I love Lemmy and I'm so grateful for his sound, his songs and everything else he has done for all of us.
I'm so glad this isn't featuring someone playing Ace of Spades, and instead playing their own riffs, now if these were re-issued and made into a studio version, and actually made in the U.K, I'd be all over one!
The Ace influence during the jam at the end was obvious, but not to the point of having to pay royalties.
You guys should reissue the 1992 Super Bass
@Louis Kirkwood It's all outsourced to China, ever since Jim died, the quality has gone to shit
Ceriatone makes kickass super bass replicas for around $1500
@@bucknasty69 Yes they do but despite the boutique hyoe I still think Marshall makes the best sounding Marshalls
@@astraplaneta4656 I would agree with you, but unfortunately Marshall doesn’t make a lot of their classic amps anymore, so unless you’re buying used, Ceriatone is the way to go.

I was buzzing too see Marshall do a signature Lemmy amp.
Did you sleep through it years ago when it was issued? This isn't a current offering.
too stoned.@@gavinvalentino6002
I'd buy the hell out of one if it is as reissued!!!

It don't get much cooler than this 🤘
I wish Marshall would do a small bass amp line

BIG
When do we get a Marshall Major studio 20w version :D
Lemmy 🤘
We need a re-issue of these monsters.
It's 2022 - a 30th anniversary of the original.
1992 is a amp model number not year.
I want one of these
Best sound on earth.
Reissue now!

I think Marshall has one of the best bass amps wich is Marshall VBA 400. But all we have now those tiny transistor small boxex for bass ;(
We are all looking forward to the re-release of the England-made Marshall JCM 2000 dsl.
that sounds unbelievably good
So your iPad or phone has good speakers 😂
@@BloodyBamPot my headphones cost more than your car
So cool 🤘😎!!
Being as Marshall don't give a shit about bass players anymore, I got a Fender Bassman 500 a couple of years ago.
Nice amp.
Hell yeah!!
I could carry a 412 by myself but I'm not sure about a 415.
Reissue this amp!
They'd be all chinese ones, Marshall doesn't even make amps since Jim passed away
El mejor sonido de bajo
Id like to play my guitar thru that bass amp. Lemmy was known for playing a Guitar Marshal. I wonder if this Sig amp is designed after the Guitar Marshall he used to play?
Show Gostei 🏴☠️⚡🏴☠️
.
The only question that now remains is why did Marshall stop making bass amps 🤔
Okay, how do I get one? And I need the 4x15 cabinet too.
Not enough gain dialled in for a “Lemmy” sound.
Yeah, more gain and volume !!! I have built replicas of "Murder One" (based on a Marshall Super Bass '77) and "Marsha" (based on a Marshall Super Lead Reissue '96). now plug a guitar and a fuzzface in that thing😂😂
Great video, although the amp wasn't NEARLY loud enough ;)
What the bass cab is ?

Do you guys have the specs of the speakers used in the cabs? I'd love to know what was used
Murder One
It's only 100 watts.
The people at Marshall are cowards for not making bass amps.
That's a pathetic demo. You shouldn't be able to sit that close if wound out at the volume Lem played at.
He's not got a full stack like Lemmy had, and only is using the 4x10
What a horrible bass sound…
To be honest I'm curious how the guitar would sound like through one of those beasts.
its based on a superlead, haveing tinkered with one of those a bit, quite nice, but definitely mid-high heavy
Lemmy's amp was right in my face in '83 seeing Motorhead at the Country Club club in Reseda. Yes I suffered hearing loss from that night forward
Me too, permanent tinnitus since Oct 82, never mind eh? ;0)
Rip lemmy 🤟🤟
Please, please, please do a reissue of this amp and stack. They are impossible to come by. I need one!

Every single time I ever saw Motörhead, I could not believe how loud just Lemmys amp was. I’m talking about the times I’d be around for soundcheck, before the pa was on. That guy always seemed to be getting a thousand times the volume that one head could put out. Ridiculous loud.
Needs to be louder,, the camera isn't shaking enough. 😁
I had a friend who kept calling him "Lenny". This was pre-internet days and as I didn't have any books on Motorhead handy, nothing I could say would convince him otherwise. He's probably calling him "Lenny" to this very day. Stubborn prick.
I remember seeing the Lemmy reissue when it was available, was extremely expensive. The rig has to have the 4x12 on top of the 4x15 to get the proper Lemmy tone, sounds good though in this video.
The speakers are what do the work, it doesn't need to be in a certain position to get "tone"
Any differences in the circuits between the original Super Bass and the 1992LEM?
Marshall, please make dedicated bass amps again. For the bass guitar. Please and thank you.
Ok I’m sorry but what the fuck is this? You’re demonstrating Lemmy’s signature amp with almost no overdrive… the key to Lemmy’s tone
Es un juguete muy bonito y muy caro , pero no es lemmy
So is it a guitar or bass amp?
Please reissue these, would love to buy it!

lemmy only used the neck pickup 🥲

Unfortunately, amp purchases are in decline in favor of emulators. Maybe there should be a Murder One Pod/emulator as well. (if there isnt one already)
Murder One by Softube is exactly that, and 100% official
yes
Is 1992 the model number or the year it was made? Are these new? (It's very confusing that Marshall uses valid years as model numbers lol)
92 was the year it was made, the original was from 73, along with Marsha, I believe, cause he bought 2 for 400 bucks, he had up to 40 of them between the US and UK
👍
How about you make an reissue in the studio series?
Does anyone knows what speakers are in that cab?
What a music video :D
🤘🤘
