Me and a mate drove 5 hours to see Lamb of God live, didn't really give a shit about Metallica, but they put on one of the best live shows I have ever witnessed. When Lemmy came out I came in my pants. 100% worth the drive.
I had the honor to see Motörhead live for ONE time, on one of their last concerts before...the tragedy. I was 15 years old during that time, I held a presentation about Motörhead in my class after that and everyone loved it! After that, with the last slide being a picture of me stage diving towards the band with the Motörhead Logo in the background, I instantly bought tickets for their next concert, which was schechuled in February 2016...I was taking a dump, when I read the news and let me tell you, if I weren't sitting on the toilet that moment, I would've shit my pants. For me, there's something about Lemmy telling the guys "good job." As someone who's played shows with more experienced musicians that I look up to, there's a unique feeling when the song's over and they tell you that. Just makes you realize that at the end of the day, legend or no, he was just a musician who loved to jam. RIP Lemmy.

I saw the Head 22 times. The first time was on one of the early American tours. A small punk club in Chicago. The came in and played as hard as they would in a stadium. I freaked out and poked his eye. He laughed and pushed my hand away, leaving me with a bloody scratch. I picked the scab until it began to scar.

Watching your idols playing with their idol
