Easy enough. Just got 2 in today to go with my doorbell. All one on APP feature is what I want and glad my door bell and 2 spotlights are all within the app. And you can turn on/off the lights whenever you want and adjust any brightened too… and a 🤡 did say it wasn’t bright enough, but when you install it, it’s set at Level 5/10 brightness, so if you want bright, set it at 10. I think 5-6 is fine with me. Good video! 👍👍👍👍
I have done all that, I can turn on the lights from my app but they do not come on when motion is detected. It is recognized on my Blink app and in the settings and all the settings appear to be in order but they just don't come on when motion is detected. the camera does bit not the lights.
I know the lights only come on when the sensor reads that it is dark outside. Maybe there is an issue with that sensor. Try calling tech support and if they can’t correct it they may need to send out a new unit.
When you go on the blink app, scroll to the camera and you’ll see right in the middle of the thumbnail two lightbulb icons. Left is on and right is off. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
I am not 100% sure, but I think for the screws that came with mine it may have been a 1/8 or a 9/64. My bits are constantly thrown around so sometimes its hard to tell, but I just eyeball the width of the screws and test it in a scrap piece of wood before the final. On this install, I went into solid wood so I did not need to use the anchors. Sorry, but hopefully that gives you a starting point. If you end up doing the install please share what size worked for you. Thank You!
I haven’t had this issue, but you can turn down the sensitivity which will help by limiting the camera constantly coming on. Unfortunately when the wasps find it, they can be quite annoying.

Hi , really liked your video & I thought I was supposed to buy a just 2 wireless but I bought a 1 wired for front garage and wireless one for backyard and wired is a bit challenging seems since there is no outlet and I gotta make a holes to wired in I don’t know how easier would it be & also the reason is front house gonna have more activity so with the wireless one I didn’t think would be more work for frequent changing of batteries, by the ways , how often would you put on Batteries on your wireless floodlight ,, Best wishes.
If I’m guessing correctly what you are asking, on the main screen showing all the cameras, there is a little lightbulb looking button on the thumbnail that allows you to turn on and off the light.
It’s a hook that goes behind the “vinyl siding” if your home is old enough with that. Once u mount the blink floodlight, it’s heavy enough to add weight to the bottom while the clip on top is held under the siding. I prefer what he did in this video to secure it
I NEEDED to see the CLOSE UP of actually how to attach the mounting bracket to the back of the floodlight. My bracket appears to be DEFECTIVE or Not the Correct one because the slide clips are facing the same way yet the slide lip at the flashlight bottom is the OPPOSITE direction plus there's 2 angled pieces that prevent the top from being able to get in there to even slide. I'm Sure it's the Wrong bracket and that's what I needed to see to compare

@darrenDOOlan Lol nice dorky name, if your want brighter, go pay more for spot light cameras. You want to be blinded or a “baseball field” type night lighting…. But your here because you want adorable spotlights 😂😂😂😂 🤡 🤡
Thank you for putting this video together, Amazon did a horrible job providing any instructions.
Glad you found it helpful!
2 years later and this video is still helpful ! thank you so much !
Is anyone having issues with the lights NEVER coming on??
Yes that and the angles suck compared to ring which is why I’m taking the piece of crap down

Thanks for watching and sharing some great info! That will really help viewers!
Nice and easy.
You should have shown how to use the metal thing it comes with
I have done all that, I can turn on the lights from my app but they do not come on when motion is detected. It is recognized on my Blink app and in the settings and all the settings appear to be in order but they just don't come on when motion is detected. the camera does bit not the lights.

Wow. Thanks! This was really helpful for my 65-year-old mind!
Glad it could help! I’m a visual learner so these types of videos help me immensely!
Thank You very much.
For Showing us how to do this.
You made it So Easy for my Son.
Glad it helped!
Was this installed onto wood or on the stucco wall?
Mine doesn’t bring any screws what size could I get them ?
Hello what size drill bit did you use ?
Can the camera system easily fit onto siding using that bracket?
Also can the lights be on and the camera off of necessary?
Hi, thanks for the vid. Could you let me know where to locate the floodlight test or on feature button you mentioned? Can't find it. Thanks.

@@BusyBeeLiving Excellent, thank you.
What size drill bits did you need to use? And was that with or without the anchors provided?

Great video! Does the light turn on automatically based on the motion? Thanks
Yes
What's that strange metal piece that you removed for?
A clip comes with it that can be used when mounting to siding.
is there any way to install no drill? i’m renting
This unit is pretty heavy, especially with those batteries, so I would say no. The backplate should be secured with screws to ensure it doesn’t fall.
How did he test the "light on feature"?
There is a small lightbulb on the main thumbnail that allows you to turn the light on and off
I don’t have that thumbnail anywhere. My lights only come on when placing batteries in
Its consumes the camera's battery very quickly.
What can I do?
I haven’t had this issue, but you can turn down the sensitivity which will help by limiting the camera constantly coming on. Unfortunately when the wasps find it, they can be quite annoying.
Was that batteries at the beginning?
What size was the pre drill size

Use 9/64 if you're just using the screws, 1/8 if you're using the anchors.

I have yet to have to change the batteries since this install, and the system is constantly running.
I can't figure out how to sync to my already existing module or even the one it came with. Seems so simple but I can not figure it out
Our video on the blink camera setup will walk you through it.
I figured it out right after I commented.
What light on feature?
If I’m guessing correctly what you are asking, on the main screen showing all the cameras, there is a little lightbulb looking button on the thumbnail that allows you to turn on and off the light.
I can’t get the camera to snap in to the flood light. It’s ridiculous
How can I buy the mounting bracket
Did you find them? I need one also
Damn I wanted to see how to attach the vinyl siding clip to the back plate!!... it won't stay on it

Yeah, I don't have any siding to show this as an example
Subbed with Michael Builds recommendation👍
Thanks!
Wow that’s pretty easy
Very!

Thank you!!
Glad you found it helpful!
Can’t even see how you did it
Sadly this instantly skipped all of the actual installation instructions I needed...

I thought it was good. Quick to the point no fluff…
U must b dumb
Looks like not bright enough to me dude that's money
The lights are pretty bright. They lit up the entire area in front of both the two car garages.
