It took me almost 23 years to find the true purpose of life. I have always known there is a God but I felt like no matter how hard I tried I could never truly connect with him. So a little over 8 years ago I stopped trying to seek him. But everything has changed. I have been struggling with my demons for years. Since I got back from my last deployment life has been constantly throwing punches at me. At my lowest, I searched for God for the first time in years. This time everything was different. God made it very evident to me that the reason I had never truly been saved was that I never had faith in God's plan for me. I had always still wanted to be in control of myself and my life. I finally let go in a leap of faith and put my trust in him no matter what is to come. I was instantly filled with indescribable Joy and Love like I had never felt before. The purpose of life is to be a servant of God regardless of your past sins. I wanted to let everyone know I have been saved. I thought there was no better way to do that than to worship God with my new favorite song.
