This is the only song I know by this band and it's an interesting story why.
A long time ago, like 11 years, the last love letter that a spunky girl wrote to me before I left to go work 6000kms away were the lyrics of this song. To sum it up things quickly ended, life moved on, people got married, and I always kept her letters with the rest of my belongings. The irony about this is that I never really got over her and I'm the one living in those letters.
But I know ultimately that life is bigger than ourselves.

The same happens to me, it's awful to live with memories that only hurt. Three months ago
I thought Id gotten over her and shit, when I least expected she was there in my thoughts again, I still have photographs that I kept for no reason. Today I realize that it's not worth keep them and plan to get rid of them. Now I know she's happy without me, so am I and have to go on like the others, like she did from the beginning. That's why this is the best song by DC for me.
Living In Your Letters, The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most and This Bitter Pill all so great. It's hard to pick one as a favorite from them.

this is one of my favorites. the love of my life, calvin key wilson, made this cd for me when we were in HS....he passed away last thanksgiving and feel i am living every word of the song now (miss you by incubus is one of our songs too-very beautiful). love you always cal pal.
hey guys, I'm glad after years people are still enjoying this video and band. This was my first channel and I lost the information to it that is why I wouldn't fix the typo of making "Confessionals" singular, and I was about 12 when I made this. I'm so happy to see how this song effects people or how relatable it is. reading your stories through the comments sends me smiles. Anyways, I hope you are still with your partner after years, and this is my new channel. I'll soon maybe (in the future) will be making videos. Ranges from comedy, to music, to real life situations. Wow, this song is so beautiful.. Not as beautiful as you though, Kesareé... It reminds me how long it's been since I wrote her a reply letter.. Too many texts and calls, nothing as heartfelt as a letter in months.. It has been almost three weeks since we've been apart and we've been apart for more than 2 months at a time before..
