Put it in your car radio every morning on your way to work, belive me your life will change completely!
@koby mmm Awww that's such a nice thing to say. This song is a memory of my teenage days back in 2006-2007..I wish I liked this song back then. Now I feel sad that I'm getting towards 30..maybe this suggestion would make me feel happier.
I listen to this while I'm filling the dishwasher up. makes it a bit more fun.
@@jimtim8805 lol. U was teen and i was just being born. 😂😂 im 14. i was born in 2007
Who else when they were younger used to sing it "i dont feel like dancing dancing dotisbcjajfhjahrjsndoo"
No,bit i use to think it said "why break it down when I'm not in the mood" and "I'd rather be home with no-one if I cant get down with you"
I like how it has a Bee Gees kind of sound to it and how the intro part reminds me of ABBA. I shouldn't have looked at the lyrics. I like the lyrics that I thought they were.
That usually happens when I look up the lyrics to an old song (with "old" covering quite a few decades). But at least I know the Talking Heads aren't singing "drink some milk" in For Artists Only.
The lyrics to Louie Louie are still as indecipherable af, though. :)
"I don't feel like dancin"..........EVERY time I hear it ....I feel like dancing .....superb
This song never fails to cheer me up.
Those Bee Gees vibes.... I love this song so much! Just like Mika reminds me of both Freddie Mercury and Scissor Sisters :)
This used to be the life, but I don't need another one.
Best line ever.
Absolutely love it!
They sing "i don't feel like dancing" but when i hear this song i wanna dance
This was on the radio when I was in labour with my 3rd child. All I could think was how appropriate it was 🤣
Scissor Sisters remind me of Mika, anyone else?
Definitely feeling that vibe. Especially if you compare it to his earlier stuff
My dad started blasting this on a speaker and danced upstairs and then went to my sister's room still dancing at like 7:00AM I was just in the bathroom choking on my toothbrush 😂
This song, no matter the day or what's going on can always put the biggest smile on my face and make me break out and start dancing. Just the best heart happy song.
For some reason my Parakeet gets really active while listening to this song!
This is one of those songs that would've been a massive hit in the 80s, but due to it being released in the 2000s, it just couldn't compete with the rising rap genre taking over the music scene.
when this song came out in 2006 it was the no.1 song in the singles charts in 11 countries, and became a certified platinum record in 5 countries - in what way WASN’T this a massive hit?
You obviously weren't a clubber. Even less so a gay clubber. This song came on in the grocery store the other day and there were two other people singing along. I was the third.
This could be a massive hit in 70s, i supposed 30 years ago when was released, in 1976
@@RebecaTaylor where are you finding any information that says it was released in the 70’s? the majority of the band were born after ‘76, and it’s an original song
@@ShadowNinja2846 Leo Sayer released a song called "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" in 1976. He also sang with a high-falsetto, so this song kinda fits in with the era.
This song is perfect on the waltzer. Trust me, by the third way round you REALLY don't feel like dancing...
ohhh mate, that gif-quality guitar /10. I actually bloody love it
This is an awesome song. The first few bars sound inspired by "Oh What a Night"
When I bought the Cd several yrs. ago I played this song at least 15 times easy. Still love it...
Such an amazing song, i loved this when i was younger, whenever i go out in town i know they are playing old songs i always request this, can't help but dance
This is a 😍🤩fire album. Jake's vocals are the best.
i just remember my mum playing this on repeat when i was younger 😂
It's impossible to sit still when this is playing!
It grabbed my attention from the first time i heard it (ditto: Fall Out Boy "This ain't a scene" around the same time).
However, I think the chorus lyric is:
"I'd rather be home
with no-one
if I can't get down, with you -oo-oo".
What a song! It fits so well.
Turn in that song everyday while taking my shower. Strong positive notes bring you a happy day
15 years after this son came to me today while working. Remembering me and my bestie dancing around my bedroom like there was not tomorrow.
Love the guitar and the man beating the drums :D
This song reminds me of my dad, this and grace kelly by mika, those are the two songs he used to play when he would pick me and my sister up for contact visits 😂👍
I remember listening to this song when I was a child. Time to time this song will pop into my head but I couldn't remember the lyrics or the person/people who sang this. Then this song was playing at Frankie's and Benny's and I was like *"FINALLY, I FOUND THE SONG"* 😂
This song was on the radio when I was sick and when I remembered what song it was it basically revived me
I had my first kiss in between dancing to this 😍
I had my first kiss after we both finished a psychology lecture. We lasted 6 months in the end. Happy times.
@@edmundpower1250 LOL! I wish we had done that. In the end we just spent 6 months slowly learning to despise each other and not even being brave enough to even come close to visiting the concept of anything even remotely near to a sexual relationship.
@@josephchambers2000 better you learned about each other early Joseph rather than after marriage! Hope life's good with you now
Had my first kiss when some drunk girl at a party grabbed me out of nowhere, started making out with me and I panicked and took off inside the house 😂
This so brings back memories of my childhood. I even remember having a Tooth Tunes toothbrush that plays that song.
thank you lightning, i remember when i saw the film cars, was super epic
I gotta get me one of those toothbrushes! Hope they are still available, One case should do it. Thanks for mentioning that. Wow! who knew about that? I'm on the hunt now. Anyone know what's up with that?
This was an outstanding song and even to this day it's still outstanding. I love this song
Childhood nostalgia 💯, this song is a masterpiece 💯
They sing "i don't feel like dancing" but when i hear this song i wanna dance
dont feel like dancin, dancin. topitapitaahdududududadooo!
Still listening OCTOBER 2019..wakes me up in the morning..should be a wake up every day to this...
I feel a fusion between Mika and Bee Gees. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I really really love it
Just Dance 3 brought me here. Kind of ironic, eh? :)
Sarah M did you feel like dancing? I LOVE THIS SONG I DONT USUALLY WANNA DANCE BUT RN I DO
I remember trying to dance to that when I was seven. Good times.
makes me so happy and remind me of me child hood
So many years have passed and this is still one of my favourite songs
Bro i just heard this song for the first time today why is it the hardest thing ive ever heard
I honestly don't mind if you mess up mate it was still good I didn't realize until I read the description 😃👍👍👍👍👍well done
Like the little drums dude! :D
I love this song so much. I want it played at my funeral. I want everyone to be happy celebrating my life. This song gives so much fun life 😁😁😁
I'd rather be home with no one if I can't get down with you
Dang. This is a banger!
I love this song because I like listening to the guy with the high pitched voice. And I like picking out the guy who sings I Can't Decide
Nice really enjoyed it
Credits never thank the audience for watching. I liked that touch
Ironic how the song about not dancing has the best beat for dancing
love this song.
Is it ironic if you’re dancing to a song about not feeling like dancing? 😂🎉
Love the scissoring sisters
Fav song
I bet you would never think someone would be listening to this lamenting their anxiety but here i am.
Perfect music for dancing! Love it! :))))))))))))))))
I really enjoy that song also it make me smile!!
How much I love this song
That years was the best
I was taking a 'What song best describes you' quiz, and I got "I don't feel like dancin'" So I decided to look it up.
Very well put together, thanks for sharing.
I still LOVE this song
Still listening OCTOBER 2019..wakes me up in the morning..should be a wake up every day to this...
its ironic bc this is a good dance song
Such a good song !!!!!!
Loved it 10/10. 'Nuff said
This song is my families party song when you hear this song you know the party has really begun
This song is so class 😍 is it me or doesn’t the beginning sound like Elton John and the chorus sounds likes the bee gees
Awesome song! :)
I seriously love the scissor sisters one of the best groups ever.
I broke my foot last week and I'm getting so good at dancing on one foot!!!
As someone who can't dance, this song resonates
Saludos desde Argentina.
Excelente tema para levantar el animo.
So these are the lyrics I've been hearing, kinda makes sense still..
"So I'll play along
When I hear that FANCY song"
"You'd better move when round the room
Looks like TONIGHT SURELY I'LL BE FINE"
"Why did you BREAK IT DOWN when I'm not in the mood?"
"SINNERS come abd SINNERS go just like the old DAMN FIRES"
This song reminds me of how much I love my freedom. Don't feel like dancing, even if I find nothing better to do. Me when I am at my best, being stubborn haha!!..
OP, it's Scissor Sisters but thanks for posting the lyrics
Song = nightclub mood
I found it annoying squatting in my head, but now I know the lyrics, it lives there rent free.
Tantos años y no puede ser que hasta hoy me voy enterando de esta joya XD
This is the first time I have ever heard this song, and now, it is stuck in my damn head....
Iconic song!
Thanks, I'm ready for karaoke night!
Lets party like it's 2006 pretending to be 1987.
Great song !💜 🎼🎼🎼👋
Love this song
The intro do.. so good
Loveeeeettt 💃🏻
this was the only reason i got out of bed a few days ago
yeahhhhhhhhhhh i love it !!!!!!!
Ironic because it actually always makes me feel like dancing 😂💟
The low resolution guitar and drummer gifs really tie this song together
I wish I cpuld love your comment
It was 2008, different times
They really do 😳
This was high resolution bro
Shut up Donny, you're out of your element
