I dont believe I have such bad osteoporosis. When can the R.E.M.S be available to New Yorkers? I heard a tall thin spine reads as worse for osteo on dexascan. So interested I don’t want to take drugs!
I’m WFPB vegan so healthy diet exercise and strength training.

Keep positive- I hope so! Contact the Center for Better Bones. They’re setting up this one. Other people do it as well. I hope in the distant future we may be able to have it done at our scan facilities or even during a dr appt. Keep on the lookout where you live. 😊

I have been trying to make an appointment for a REMS scan, in Wayne New Jersey. They do not respond to voicemails, nor do they answer the phone. Please please where else can we get that scan near NYC?

I live in Monmouth Cty, NJ so considered going to the Wayne facility, but realized Dr. Zambito's office in Newtown, PA was actually a bit closer for me. Plus, the facility in Wayne seems to really push a lot of other things - like supplements, osteoporosis plans, etc - which to me, is a total turn-off.
