haha streetsweeper bristles! i used those a lot back in the day, you could file the corners at the tip and use it to park your car for free in my city.. you could shove the bristle in the quarter slot of the park meters, and rotate the handle
Is it weird your new pinning tray makes me hard? Maybe it's how dirty you talk to you locks. Lol. Seriously though, it's always fun watching your videos! Thank you for sharing your skills with us!
It may not sound like much, but I just picke my Yale training lock with a newly aquired Sparrows kickstarter set. It took me one minute with a curved diamond.
i was picking for fun stopped been fun decided that since i could pick my front door to my house so i started picking the security door which was even easy. Police arrived i got 12 hours in jail until the chief of police came on shift and he is a good friend, and knows me well. NOW I JUST WATCH YOU. its addictive.
Wow, that was one intense looking lock. I have no idea what the function is on half of those pins, I'll have to look them all up because they seem really fascinating.
I read it after making the video. It described the bristles, saying you can buy them REALLY cheap at the Dollar store. They are called "fish tape" and are only $1.50 for 12 feet. It measures 0.023" thick, so is perfect for pick making.
Nice pick. Another great lock West Coast Picks. Like Sargent it was what I made my last lock out of. Tumbl3r has it I'm sure it'll be at the end of 1 of his videos. My 3rd attempt and I'm proud of it.
Ah,in that case (pun intended), it is the black case that I keep all my bypass tools in. I bought it from Peterson a few years ago. I don't see it on their website now though, so maybe it was dropped. Several others have seen it and said that they are using a Kmart DVD case instead and it works just as well.
I have the same coffin. Bought it at an arts and crafts store 6 or 7 years ago. I have been keeping my starter pick set and a couple of cores in it for years for times when I get board or want to teach someone. Too funny. What are the odds?
i knew if i hunted in the comments, you would have answered my question before. hunting for the 'video tomorrow' and how do i join the tribe? im looking around at the website and can't find a join button. would i need to donate to be in on all the greatness you offer there? i'd be wiling to donate a handful of ones every couple of weeks or so.
Nice craftsmanship and picking/gutting/displaying. Great video. Too bad this didn't show up closer to Halloween. Well... maybe if you get more seasonal craftsmanship things, you can do a seasonal video like "A look back at my Halloween themed locks", "my Christmas locks" and so on. It's kind of a silly idea, but it's still an idea.
It would be nearly impossible to engrave pictures onto the pins for locks, but it would be fun if they had jack-o-lanterns on them. I don't even know what kind of tool you could use to do ultra-extreme-micro-inscribing on metal, since the only metal inscribing tools I have seen, are a round head on it almost as big around as a pin.
hey bill i am new to lock picking and just recently picked my first locks witch were cable locks found at the curb by my house. what are some ways to get better and would you recomend any cheap locks for me to practice on?
I like ur videos I've been thinking about getting in to lock picking for a hobby and been watching some of ur videos to learn a little bit anyways thx for all ur videos keep making them have a flood day
Larry McKeithan there is no problem buying them in a store, if someone thinks you "look suspicious" tell em to fuck off, it's a free country. You choirs be able to find them at novelty stores and dedicated lock supply stores.
Hello, Did Bosnianbill begin lock picking using practice locks? Please tell us the story how Bosnianbill began. How long before you could pick reasonably well? Hollywood will want to know, it'll be in the movie.
Glass re-lockers are a feature on some safes and security furniture, but use as a lock pin is interesting.. May be problematic making the glass tough enough for routine use but also brittle enough to break when forced. Some UK Government security cabinets have locks with devices that will trip if an attempt is made to pick it and jam the lock up, even the proper key won't then unlock it normally which is a flag to the user that someone has attempted entry but the key can reset the device by turning it the wrong and right way in a set sequence so a skilled attacker could potentially gain entry but it would be VERY time consuming..
Bosnianbill, great channel ive just subscribed. I was fascinated with trying to open locks as a child now after finding your channel my interest has rekindled I've just ordered a set of picks from mad bob's website ghost pro hook and rake set, I hope they are up to the job. learning a lot from your videos. would you recommend one of those see through locks for a beginner?
Thanks Guys! It was fun pinning it up. Can't wait till he gets to those other locks! lol
That blue key with the yellow tag, was that a USB stick?
Yup, has the digits for the Pocket Pick handles.
Love the custom pick handle. I want one!
yeah a pocket set for masterlocks :-D

LOL at the springs sitting on the table.
That last bible pin looked like a spark plug. Nasty.
I'm surprised you didn't attack the hinges given you love fast entry. 😉
Nice box. tough pickin. I do like the retractable pick.
It may not sound like much, but I just picke my Yale training lock with a newly aquired Sparrows kickstarter set. It took me one minute with a curved diamond.
Looks like 2 and 5 were undercut too. Crazy work on this one!
I can really hear the pins clicks on this lock setup. This was great to hear or maybe it was the coffin box or the camera position ??
i was picking for fun stopped been fun decided that since i could pick my front door to my house so i started picking the security door which was even easy. Police arrived i got 12 hours in jail until the chief of police came on shift and he is a good friend, and knows me well. NOW I JUST WATCH YOU. its addictive.
Never pick a lock that is in use.
"I think there is five, Let's start picking and just pick them all !" haha :D
Great job, Harley. Bill, you seemed to really enjoy this box o locks.
Oh just found out west coast is Harley. That's awesome maybe everyone is gonna get one. :-)
Wow, that was one intense looking lock. I have no idea what the function is on half of those pins, I'll have to look them all up because they seem really fascinating.
Really cool! that coffin door lock is quite cool. Maybe this will start a trend of locks in things.
Great work on the pins. Almost like a mil-t-lock style inner and outer pins
Great pins!!! They were works of art!!!
Thinking out loud here. Could the USB, have the 3d printing program for the retractable pick?
That's a beautiful new pinning tray you've got there!!
That is so cool but I don't know who came out with it first because zombie lock just got the same one from west coast picks.
Harley is West Coast PIcks
Nice work and generous of you Harley. Great picking per normal.
Keep up the great videos Bill. Haven’t found one I didn’t like! Well done sir
Nice pick,
Very nice lock West Coast Picks
Awesome haul of locks and goodies.
Amazing pinning tray Bill!
Hey Bill, What did the note say? It was wrapped around the brush bristles.
I read it after making the video. It described the bristles, saying you can buy them REALLY cheap at the Dollar store. They are called "fish tape" and are only $1.50 for 12 feet. It measures 0.023" thick, so is perfect for pick making.
fish tape is used by electricians to pull cables through walls
Fish tape? I've never heard it called that before.
@@mfk12340 because its used to 'fish' the wire through tight areas
Bill, in europe we use these fork like two side keys. I was wondering if they were pickable, and if so how would you pick them!
thanks!
I want one of those colapsable picks!
How do I get ahold of this harley fella?
Excellent job on the pins. Great job as always. I call it Canadia also =)
this one was just plain awesome
"im blaming half of this on you" LOL!
Now we've got a false set on the reverse. x'D
Hey Bill, I come from Germany and I like you videos and I love the pick tool at 7:16. Where can I buy it?
Very nice work on those pins Harley!
Bill, did you have one to many coffee's before picking this one? LOL
If the lock is stuck upside down i prefer the back end of a tension wrench, preferably a slim one that fits flat at the back of the keyway
Nice pick. Another great lock West Coast Picks. Like Sargent it was what I made my last lock out of. Tumbl3r has it I'm sure it'll be at the end of 1 of his videos. My 3rd attempt and I'm proud of it.
no, those springs won't come out of the because they were already on the pin tray and your bench :p
Bosnianbill, think you could shoot some vid of the thick black case you keep on the bench? Thanks
Josh, what thick black case are you talking about? Can you give me a time hack where it is visible?
@@bosnianbill bill, apologies it's not in this video I don't think. It is a black zippered case
@@bosnianbill I believe you keep warded picks etc in there
Ah,in that case (pun intended), it is the black case that I keep all my bypass tools in. I bought it from Peterson a few years ago. I don't see it on their website now though, so maybe it was dropped. Several others have seen it and said that they are using a Kmart DVD case instead and it works just as well.
Is there a link to purchase the tension wrench and sliding pick Harley sent you?
"canadia" love it
what's with the little lock inside the pinning tray?
I'm guessing the springs got squirrelly because he made weak springs by stretching standard springs and cutting them.
Lucky man being sent all those pressies.
What a exceptional video!!! Very cool and fun at the same time!!!
Nice pin tray... Nasty pins
I have the same coffin. Bought it at an arts and crafts store 6 or 7 years ago. I have been keeping my starter pick set and a couple of cores in it for years for times when I get board or want to teach someone. Too funny. What are the odds?
"Harley from Canada" i was like wtf... XD I am Harley and I am from Canada hahaha
Now THAT was a cool idea. Like it.
Bill how can I find that switchblade pick and tension wrench combo I really want thst
Video tomorrow and the files necessary to print it out will be in the website's download area.

Where could I buy lock smithing tools in store
I wouldn't buy them in a store unless you are a locksmith. It's a bit suspicious.
Larry McKeithan there is no problem buying them in a store, if someone thinks you "look suspicious" tell em to fuck off, it's a free country. You choirs be able to find them at novelty stores and dedicated lock supply stores.
no no there is still such a thing as intent to commit crime and a jury could easily side against you
How would one go about sending you a lock or locks? I have one that I cannot pick and I feel like it might go in the naughty bucket.
The address is:
LockLab

Thank you!
bill
How can I get a pick like that
Nice haul!
Hello, Did Bosnianbill begin lock picking using practice locks? Please tell us the story how Bosnianbill began. How long before you could pick reasonably well? Hollywood will want to know, it'll be in the movie.
I wish these were streamed live, if only so that I could point out the remaining springs in the background that you overlooked.
thank you! i was screaming at my screen
i'd like to see two piece pins where one of the pieces is steel and magnetic, so if you don't set both the inner and outer pin perfectly it'll jam it
i'd like to see something similar glass pin so if you force the lock it breaks and locks out the attacker
Glass re-lockers are a feature on some safes and security furniture, but use as a lock pin is interesting.. I wonder of there home made or novelties.
really like the new tray but you're going to damage the finish rather quickly with how you tap locks on it :p
What? No treats inside?
you guys are nerds. I love it.
now w need the tec to see inside the lock when picking
I'm telling you man. Check out "isis puzzles" They seem right up your alley
I would love to have one of them I could use that one
