Some advice I’ve found helpful:
People in high school (and in life in general) may lead you on, cheat, etc. The point is to just remember how important you are. Don’t do anything you don’t want to do. You will find a great person for you, one day. Life is hard. People are going to judge you, but don’t let that stop you. Let your light shine. You are loved. Be kind. Keep moving forward. : )

Man I've got this bad crush on this guy at work and this helps a little bit. I just wish I could read him better though. We have small talk all the time, smile at each other when ever we pass. Update! We went on that coffee day, it was short because of work that day and it was fantastic. We talked about all sorts of nerdy stuff and things we had in common, but the last subject was about religion. He's a southern baptist and I grew up with out any religious grounds. Next day we both avoided each other sadly, but we talked it out (it was emotional). We decided it be best to stay friends for now.
@@blitzgundam4084 aw glad to hear it. I am agnostic and my hubby is practising islam. It is a reason why I will be leaving w our 3 sons next month. It takes up so much of their time having to get washed ritually and going to pray in the mosque. Now I can not imagine christianity being that time consuming for kids but maybe some people know of ways to do that. So yeah religion can cause big issues if not for the other partner it can for the children.

Remember, men can be attracted to you but not want anything more. There also a lot of factors around their lives too and why they might not ask you out or even friendzone you (for now for even as a whole) when you tell them you feel the same way.

Yeah my ex best friend and my crush broke up and when I showed him my face he called me beautiful so when I came out to him and told him that I liked him he said he’s not ready to try again for a long time due to what my ex best friend did to him. But I asked him will in the future will you try to date me? He said it might be a possibility. Or maybe he’s not sure.
Yeah, my crush kind of had most of these, but when I told him I like him he friend-zoned me. I think it might also be because of some internalized homophobia, but I'd rather not assume.

We were together but I broke up with him because I wasn’t in the right mindset to be in a relationship at the time. It hurt him, but he said he understood. Ive always liked him since the first day I saw him, even if it was just a little bit at first. We started to talk again as friends a few months ago. Now my feelings are resurfacing and I feel as if it’s not my place to interfere with his love life considering I broke up with him and think I should just let him move on. Then he messaged me asking if I liked this guy that’s one of our college mates and I totally denied it because ofc I like him instead and me and this other guy are just friends. However, he started being really rude and calling him names and I’ve no idea why. It was really strange. Then he told me that he and this girl were talking and I was like “cool” because it’s not my place to say wether I approve or disapprove of what’s going on in his love life that’s up to him. Once I’d convinced him that I didn’t like the other guy, he asked if I had a crush on anyone else. I told him that I was talking to someone because I was and I told him who it was. He then started making fun of him and kinda came off as passive aggressive in a way. I sensed it in the way he was talking about him. He was asking me questions like “could he beat me in a fight?” And I found it so odd. I don’t really like him anymore because it feels like he won’t let me move on and he keeps teasing me and being kinda flat out rude to me for no reason now. If I’m allowing him to move on he should be able to let me too. I know I broke up with him but he knew the circumstances I was in. He’s changed completely and it’s actually kind of sad in a way.
If I was you I would 100% appreciate this kind of guy. Its so obvious that he’s still into you which is super sweet considering you were the person who broke up. Guys will never like their ex even if they were the main person who called it off and mistreated the other party let alone the other party having broke up with them. you say he’s changed and it’s sad? guess what hun ppl grow from their pains. Time makes ppl grow and build a relation with their inner pains. Some become silent and Mute . Some become mean and brutal because life has been mean to them. I think a guy like that whose still putting effort and whose wanting to ensure what your relationship status is despite you having dumped him, is someone worth treasuring. I swear you wont find better. Men are fucked up I dont know how you’ve landed with a nice guy like this. If you have any regrets of breaking up and think you’re in better circumstances then you were before I dont see why you shouldn’t show him you appreciate how much he cares and how much he’s sticking around for you. he seems to be a real sweet guy.
@@missb8904 I did appreciate him. He was a really sweet guy. I know I hurt him and I’m prepared to deal with the consequences of that and I have taken responsibility. I always thanked him for being there for me even after I did that to him and told him that he’s one of the kindest people I’ve met. It’s just that I think he’s with the wrong crowd because now he’s kinda cocky and rude and stuff(not just to me but to everyone) and I hate seeing him like that. I’m not sure if he’s being that way because he wants to fit in with them or merely because he just happened to change but it really confused me. He and I are friends now because he’s talking to a girl and I don’t want to meddle in their relationship since I think they’ll be good together. It’s just that as his friend, I worry about him. I ask if he’s okay but he always says that nothings up. I cant stand the thought that I potentially hurt him so deeply without meaning to. I strongly feel that we were in a sort of right person wrong time situation and if I could go back and rethink about wether I’m in the right mind to be in a relationship before dating him I would. Then he would’ve never been hurt. However, I’ve made the decision that I’ll leave him to go his own way now. After seeing what happened before I don’t think I could put him through that again. He gave me his all and I wasn’t ready for it. There’s nothing I can do about it now though apart from let him heal and get on with his life because I can tell he has so very much to offer to many others who would suit him better and treat him better than I ever could. My highschool story(a little long)
Like in my highschool there was a really cute guy..So one fine day I was having my exams and so according to roll number I was sitting with my crush's male best friend, I remember when I kept my head down on the table my crush who was sitting a little far away from me (in another column)did the same so he was basically mirroring me and I was like OMG😯 and his best friend who was sitting with me he was continuously looking and observing both of us left and right and I could actually see that he was mirroring me and this happened for four times in 3 days he was mirroring me all the time my crush even teased me in a healthy & funny way for my wrong answer in paper after the exam was over and I couldn't think that whether he likes me or not but I think I am too late to think about it now and I was so happy but now my high school has ended😭♥️

Every time someone stares at me, I know. You aren’t keeping any secrets buddy, the person who liked me was really nervous around me, and it was so easy to find out that they had a crush to the point where I learned within the first weeks of school, I didn’t like her though, she only liked the thought of me, not the real me, and either way she was awkward and I was literally 10 years old at the time.

My highschool story(a little long)
Like in my highschool there was a really cute guy..So one fine day I was having my exams and so according to roll number I was sitting with my crush's male best friend, I remember when I kept my head down on the table my crush who was sitting a little far away from me (in another column)did the same so he was basically mirroring me and I was like OMG😯 and his best friend who was sitting with me he was continuously looking and observing both of us left and right and I could actually see that he was mirroring me and this happened for four times in 3 days he was mirroring me all the time my crush even teased me in a healthy & funny way for my wrong answer in paper after the exam was over and I couldn't think that whether he likes me or not but I think I am too late to think about it now and I was so happy but now my high school has ended😭♥️

I just had a pretty bitter friendship break up over this exact thing. My friend wanted more, but chose to be passive & just flirt for 2 yrs. I'm a natural flirt with EVERYONE, and I have been told I'm "nice & polite". So your comment really made me stop. I'm an extrovert & find if ppl hide behind coded, passive language or action. It's a RED FLAG for s sh*tty communication style. My Q for u. Why not just tell him how u feel, or has it only been a short time?

I would say only 2 apply to my crush, but then I realized about two months ago he got me this really nice birthday gift and I loved it and didn't question it that much until... now that I realize... HOW DID HE KNOW? So I was in a shop the week before my birthday looking at that exact object, (even hugging the object) but I didn't buy it because I didn't bring my money with me, I was just passing by the store. And a little while later (the day of my birthday) that exact object was now sitting in my hands wondering how did he know. I told NO ONE about my interest in stackable Japanese cat plushies and somehow he knew...
