Here's a bit of advice..... If they confuse you in any way and you have no idea where you stand with each other relationship wise and every time you try to make sense of said topic but they deflect or straight up refuse to talk about it......... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND RUN. Not because they are bad people necessarily, but because you will NOT be confused if someone genuinely likes you and you shouldn't have to feel like you're pulling teeth to get someones feelings out of them. Being with someone who's emotionally unavailable is shitty and detrimental to ones psyche 🤷
But some people don't mean to be that way and they would regret later, especially if not being clear to intend only wanting to be friends and not romantic. There can be nuance to this.
@@markvd1008 fixing other peoples confusion on where they stand with you is not your job. if someone cant make up their mind and stop playing games, then thats on them to learn and grow from. Nobody wants to be led on and nobody wants to be with someone who isnt mature and aware enough to see that their actions and behaviors are hurting someone else either. You can make excuses for that person all you want as well, but thats not going to make them change or actually put in effort to show you that they care. And im speaking as someone who is very emotionally unavailable. theres a reason im not dating. Nobody wants to live with a walking talking minefield.

I'm actually the one who tends to have regret of accidentally confusing people due to not communicating when I wanted to, hence why I sometimes dwell about my past and trying to fix it by reaching out. (With something too intricate to explain in full detail here.) Especially if I knew better that my heart wanted to speak up from the very beginning. Since it can be painful to cause a misunderstanding. So then, what if the same person wants to make amends years later due to knowing deep down they can still be friends with that person?
So, even if it's not your job to fix other peoples confusion, it can still be their own fault (self-blame) for causing a misunderstanding to the other person if it went against their own values or true self. I personally believe seeking redemption and forgiveness can be possible even years later and possibly even reconcile. People can change.

Hey Psych2Go just wondering in what you think of this and please reply on what are you’re opinions on this, So i met this girl online and we started talking a lot until my friend (well call him E) met her and I introduced them, the eventually started talking & had many similarities and became bf/gf don’t get me wrong I’m very happy for them but there’s one thing that makes me feel weird, so my friend (the gf) recently gave me her discord and she was talking to me about if I would visit where she lives for a sleep over (she lives very very far away from me) and so I said yes and she started asking more questions like what would you todo at my house & where would you sleep, I answered the first question by asking what’s at the house that she lives at like if thiers a pool, swing, trampoline ext and so she said there are all of those things but before that asked the same question and I replied “scroll through TikTok or yt shorts” and she said what about with no internet, I responded with going outside and going in the pool, now she asked where I would sleep and I said on the floor just by getting a mattress blanket and a pillow, then she said why not with me on my bed and I said because it’s you’re bed then she said that what if u we’re to get hot there (I live in a very hot area so I’m fine with it) and then I feel I was obliged to say sure and then one more thing, she always goes to me instead of her boyfriend which always concerns me, she’ll go to me if bored wants to play talk ext and yeah. Sorry for making it really long just wanted you’re thought on this thank you (I’m 13 by the way)

Well at least I’m not crazy, but it still hurts, and will it ever resolve.
…at least my own repeated and increasing insistence to be friends seems to finally be heard…because admitting Yeah I DO Like You (Too) can…only do harm right now. What IS apparently “safe” but often gets that described hot/cold is…us trying to get through to the other how much we respect them but.
And this has been going on for YEARS now. Despite a literal year of not interacting at all in an attempt to protect eachother, then me pushing the issue for a friendship, then the people we were literally trying to shield the other from through avoidance lit the fuse…which left a LOT of repair work to do ontop of the already Not Great start
And…now the air’s as clear as it can be but. The method I thought was fine, wasn’t, so…literally haven’t seen them for. Literal months. And it’s “are they avoiding me, or do I continue to choose to trust that they’re not and want to be my friend like they insist.” And to maybe see them again…is apparently dependent on whether or not I can get preexisting plans to work as well as face down my own traumas getting stirred up by environments-which they at least acknowledge isn’t fair to the point of distress.
…I wish we could just say we liked eachother already. And I still don’t understand what’s so difficult to just agree to “hey are you free at __” once a month or whatever.
