I have to work on my timing sorry I missed today's live.
I can't remember if I've told you this or not. A little background I keep paper and book maps. Old and new whatever I can get my hands on.
One of my neighbors who is in her late 70's lost her husband about a yr ago and has been looking to spread his ashes. The problem was the country road she was looking for is no longer marked with the name she remembers. Which leads to the back country her husband used to take her and the kids out too.
She asked me if I remembered the road, which I don't really. I told her I would see if I could find it. First easy check Google and that was a bust of course. I pulled out my maps and started looking.
I was lucky and found it in about 5mins of looking. It now has a number instead of a name, but it is definitely the road she was looking for!!
If I don't need a paper map ever again, this experience made it worth keeping every last one!!
I too get sick from using technology too much, I've never been able to play video games (which I'm not heartbroken about) and can only be in front of a screen for so long. Glasses have not helped which again I have a strong dislike for having to rely on, so I'm not overly upset they don't help.
The video is not over so I may make another comment lol.
