TRD Off-Road base for me.
This color is the equivalent of meeting a girl with a foreign accent and you think is so sexy and unique and then after six months you can’t listen to her talk anymore because her accent is so grating. This color will be fun, then tiresome during ownership
What are the differences between the OR premium with the Predator package to a PRO.
The 360 camera, shocks, stereo, zone air, black bumber valances, TRD skid plate and hood scoop.
You can spend $2200 and get the valances, skid scoop, and a way better suspension than what comes on the PRO and be way ahead $$$)
The Zone AC , camera, and stereo are not a big deal and not worth the extra cost IMHO.
I would go with xp predator package. Would love it with a black headliner and some more luxury features. Like heated steering wheel and heated and cool seats, perforated leather. It would sell, I’m sure it would.
Literally just bought this same exact 4runner in silver. Although I like the orange. Silver was the only color they had.
You'll need to wake up in a good mood to walk up to that color in the morning.

I just saw this a few hours up close, very sharp color. One of the best.
Have a 2022 XP Predator nautical blue, had a 3 inch fox lift put on and removed the predator running steps for a Tyger running board which sticks out farther and helps deflect door dings. Love the 4Runner and the Ridge Grappler tires are the best.
I would Love to own one of these.
Fully Loaded of course.
I have NO use for one of these but it sure would be FUN to drive around in a 4 Runner all Winter.
They are a tad pricy but well worth it. It should last for years and years with 100,000s of miles to boot.

Nautical Blue. 😉🤣 In regard to the next 4Runner, Toyota has hinted a return to 4Runner roots is on the cards. If that means 2 doors, a compact size and a manual transmission

@atomicsnowflow The Monrony Sticker was $53,463.00, and the market adjustment by the dealer brought it up to $59,463.00.
I bought it for $47,500.00 plus all the fees and taxes.
My trade-in was $32,500.00, so I saved a bunch on taxes because it was paid off.
My out the door price was over $2000 below the actual MSRP.
It’s amazing these are still offered as it’s a 15 year old design. I bought a new ‘14 4 Runner and the SUV has barely been updated. Than again, why mess with success and it’s super reliable.

Love your Toyota reviews, I wish Toyota would offer a Black headliner in the interior. I liked the nightshade addition. Or have an opinion to get one in the TRD and limited editions.
My thoughts exactly! It would be an almost perfect interior if they did that.
I like it more if there's a rear sliding cargo, rock sliders vs predator steps.

Thank you for the video as the Solar Octane colour as it has been a rare beast in my area. I am torn between ordering a Solar Octane or the Underground colour in the TRD ORP for 2024 given this should be the last year for this generation….

XP Package should include blackout center bumper covers. Love to have Toyota rock rails over the predator steps. Nitto Ridgegrapplers are little too "hybrid" for my needs. Maybe Nitto Terra Grappler G2s with 3PMSF rating.

I'm surprised actually cause my 2023 PRO came with the Terra grapplers. They should keep them for the 24
@@user-xr1xo7bk9h yes the 2024 Pro comes with Nitto Terra Grapplers. This XP Package is a dealership option where stock vehicles get different wheels, tires, grill, etc...
@@user-xr1xo7bk9h The wheels are swapped but the tires are kept. This package is done stateside at the port.
It’s a shame SET is shipping these with the old style pro wheels
I just picked up a 24 TRD OR with pred package and had to source my own new style pro wheels from BAM wholesale

I have a 16 Ltd and a 19TRD and you're telling me the body hasn't changed since 2012? No thanks! I just sold my 05 Ltd for $17,000 I think I'll keep what I have until the body has a awesome concept change. And stop with the "wooohoo's" smh...

I dislike the predator side steps. The foot area is no where near where my foot naturally would land while exiting the vehicle.
I agree I tried the predator side steps yesterday on this model and they make no sense totally unfunctional especially for kids or elderly
Those predator steps are terrible for off-roading. Nobody off-roading would get those type of rails

This accessory package screams mall crawler. No one in their right mind who picks this trim for off-road/overland would select these accessories.

It’s definitely cool, but….. for literally 2 grand more you can get a TRD Pro that comes with dual climate control (ORP doesn’t even come with basic), JBL speakers, Fox suspension, TRD roof basket, remote start…. And a few other little things. This is cool and decked out, but just get a TRD Pro if you’re gonna spend that much.
Is the TRD Pro the only one that comes with remote start?
@@kathylong9087 just the TRD Pro and Limited. It’s ridiculous. But, the next gen will definitely have all the modern bells and whistles at the lower trims.
Since the prices of these keep creepin up, I spent the $10K extra to go with the GX460 instead. Better ride, better luxe and of course, sexier.
Yeah. For an xtra 10k I would've done the same. V8 is silky smooth.

Great vehicle. But the prices the dealers are asking for these? Completely ridiculous for the finishing, technology, interior. This is a workhorse with proven reliability, but I can't believe the amounts dealers expect us to pay for them.
I have the 2023 TRD Pro in the Solar Octane. It's beautiful! It stands out in all the right ways. I love to stand out and have many complements.
The crawl control and the multi-terrain makes a huge difference for off roading capabilities.
However, I'm curious what is actually different from the 2023 TRD pro? I have everything you mentioned, but the front and back bumper is black and not silver, I have the all weather floor mats which isnt pictured, but you mentioned at the end. Is it just the hybrid?? Cause otherwise its the same.
You did better getting the TRD pro, trust me. For LITERALLY 2 grand more you got dual climate control (ORP doesn’t even come with basic climate control), JBL premium surround sound, Fox suspension, the roof basket, and a few other little things. Way, way worth it. Don’t feel bad at all lol.

I like this version, maybe even better than the TRD Pro! Do you get many in on the lot of would it have to be ordered if you wanted a different color? Also does Fred A do any "market adjustments" or are they committed not to go over MSRP? Curious as I'm am local.

Never buy new! When the 2015 tundra came out I waited a year and found a used one 13k miles on it and saved $15k.
Missing the front facing camera, no 360 degree panoramic view, no multi terrain monitoring. Get a ‘23 TRD ORP with the front facing camera with everything this has including heated steering wheel. You’re only paying for the color for the ‘24 TRD ORP.
Or spend the extra $2K and get the ‘24 TRD PRO.
You can’t even buy one call dealerships in New Jersey and nobody even knows when they’ll ever get in bunch of nonsense

Hot take: I think this is the last of the 4Runners. I think they’ve essentially been replaced by the new Land Cruiser.

A manual air conditioner is a deal breaker for me. Toyota is so arrogant charging more than 50k without Automatic air conditioner.

I know this is an "x series" but I want to say that the TRD Pro 4Runner really is kind of a rip-off, given the price. They should have least put a V8 in the Pro. The same V8 that's in the GX460
So glad my trip pro has the V6. It's designed for the overland use and a v8 is not as reliable as the V6 and isn't needed crawling on trails.
@@brandocommando6593this V6 is reliable but marginal at best as a power plant. Any kind of hill/mountains and this V6 is lacking. I have both the TRD OR and a GX and that V8 is much better and just as reliable.
@@brandocommando6593 The 1UR-FE V8 is at very least as power as the 4Runners V6, probably more. It does require premium gas though.
