Great video and explanation. Now I feel a lot more confident me and my dad can get his 84 C10 dash to look decent with all the details, tips and tricks you provided, thank you.

I used one of their covers on my Blazer, and was not too happy with the result. Now, I'll try your method on my dually, and if comes out like yours, I'll get another one for the Blazer...thanks!!

Thanks so much. I knew there had to be a way to do an overlay and it look right. I am restoring a K20 for resale, and that dash pad is a pretty penny that could go somewhere else.

Yes, an original complete dash pad is expensive. Thank you for watching.

Do you grind around the cracks after you pull the vinyl off?
Do you paint or dye around the vent openings even if you pull the vinyl off?
Do you trim all that old dash off that the new cover did not hide?

No. No. There is nothing left of the old dash other than the understructure, so nothing to trim.

I ordered a cover direct from them and it is poor quality as far as fitment , they offered a refund minus shipping ... $90 , cover was 255 . so i end up at a loss for a poorly fitting item . decided to fix it by adding to the areas where it was short , yes it wasn't that i needed to remove material , i had to add , then try and paint to match .
I've purchased aftermarket ABS parts for motorcycles without these issues unless it was a racing part where detail is second .
on their site it says " Made From Durable ABS Plastic And Vacuum Molded For Perfect Fit " , right .
Seems like they are the only game in town for this type of product , profit > quality .

Thanks for tuning in. Believe it or not, and I make mention of it in the video, yes there are worse repos out there. I wish it wasn't so, but much worse.
