    I need to start checking this. I just changed the oil in my 1984 K20. I run 5-30 as I start it in temperatures down to -15F to plow snow. I’ve been working on my own Chevys since the late 1960s. I know the crystal structure of the metal zinc is round. Most of my work career we expected our vehicles to crank at temperatures down to minus 60.
