Sade was in a class of her own. Nobody did it like her before or since. She’s her own genre. Classy, cool, emotional, beautiful.
It’s a good thing poor Ryan didn’t watch her sing this. I don’t think the poor boy could handle it!!😅
That is soooo funny and yet soo true !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
Agreed. Lol
😂
Bro no human can handle that! Imagine we are alive and get to hear Sade sing! Winning!!!
She is classy, exquisite, elegant... no female singer today has even a fraction of her class. The whole band is amazing, they've always been way ahead of their time!
Saw her in 1993. Her band members are as talented as she is. Unparalleled.
Sade is the name of the group, though her name/what known too.
You are lucky and I am eternally jealous
OH MY GOD. More Sade please. 😅 Not only is this woman super talented... there is something about her energy that is very pleasing. She's incredible live... one of the most amazing concerts I've ever seen. I agree, however, studio versions should be heard first.
These guys could react to 20 more Sade tunes and (I think) have the same amazed reaction. And I wouldn't complain either.
@@jdw5678 YES... completely.
Not to mention the Band! They are some of the Best Musicians I've ever heard! And witness!
She had so many fantastic songs......sultry, smooth and sexy.
Sultry! That’s the word I’m looking for. This came out when I met my husband 😂😂😂
Probably listened to this album 100’s of time. So glad to hear y’all respond!!
Nice reaction. More babies were born because of this song then the world will ever know.
Ryan, I can't believe you've never heard Sade! Probably her best known song is Smooth Operator but from the same debut album, Hang on to Your Love, Why Can't We Live Together and my favorite, Cherry Pie, are must hears. Other must hears as well: The Sweetest Taboo, Love is Stronger Than Pride, Nothing Can Come Between Us, King of Sorrow, By Your Side and the ultimate incredible Lover's Rock are all not to be missed. More Sade please!
I’m not surprised bc it happens. Ryan came of age in the 2000’s with Ashanti and Amerie.
I agree, I shouldn't be shocked because of Ryan's age, I guess I'm more pleased that he gets to discover the band!@@gabrielmcdonnell8699
Great list....especially "Cherry Pie"!!
But you missed "Paradise"!
“Love Deluxe” is a stupendous album. Every track is as hip as it is hypnotic. Valentines Day just happens to be my wedding anniversary. Thanks for the early gift. Sade is the real deal!
Back in the day, all of us guys and most of the gals were in love with Sade. That smoky sensuous voice and drop dead gorgeous looks. Mmm mmnn
its 2024 and us 80s babies are still in love with Sade
I love me some Sade. Her vocals are so smooth and soothing. She is pure class. The band is top notch. Excellent choice. Thank you, gentlemen, for sharing.
Sade is one of the classiest singers. Her live performances are fire. Her band is amazing too.
Everyone is going to suggest Smooth Operator, but you gotta do Sweetest Taboo. But she has a ton of hits.
Sade is a cheat code. That woman is responsible for a lot of folks getting lucky.
Wow, she has so many good songs. Ryan would go crazy for Smooth Operator.
Bulletproof Soul from this album is 🔥 🔥 🔥
I think Ryan would love "Smooth Operator". The sax on it is so good.
I was thinking the same thing!
Sade has so many hits Diamond Life, Never as good as the First Time, Cherish Love, Is it a Crime, Love Deluxe and many more. Sade is sophisticated, sultry, sexy and an entire timeless band. Please more of Sade. Happy Valentine's Day 💌
The quiet storm known as Sade. I always imagine her jetting around the world, all mysteriously. Almost like an international spy, moving among the rich and powerful in Europe and elsewhere. Seductive. Mysterious. Global citizen. But hey, maybe that's just me. 😉
The sound in the 90's was SO diverse though. We had this, we had rock, we had eurodance, we had trance, we had rnb, we had rap. That's probably the most eclectic decade of all time in music history in mainstream. Even a New-age band like Enigma managed to get a #1 hit lol
Ughh yesss, this ❤
Sade always sang barefoot on stage.
This whole album is wonderful
Thanks guys
💃💃🍀🍀
this whole record is fire..mathewman and company are the best
I experienced Sade in real time when she emerged on the scene, and over her amazing career. And the amazing thing is she never followed the trends. She (and her band) always had their own sound. And no one else sounded like Sade, whether it was her first album, Diamond Life in 1984, through to Soldier of Love in 2010. Saw her live at Irvine Meadows, in Orange CA, in 1993, and she and her band are incredible live. Incredible.
Ryan, you would simultaneously combust watching a Sade video. 🔥🔥🔥
We all do and it is exquisite
Sultry. A fusion of R&B, soul, jazz and rock. Her voice is inimitable. Got to see her live in Toronto, years ago and I was entranced. No ordinary songstress.
This whole album is fire. It's been in my permanent collection since release. Impeccable!
Buttery smoothness, forgot how dreamy this was!! Close your eyes and you are floating in the clouds....
Exactly how i feel ❤
Sade helped keep me calm in the crazy 80s.
She calms me today
SADE is a WORLD 🌎 TREASURE!!
Cherish The Day is a must listen from Sade
Sade is a goddess. Her music is definitely a vibe. Smooth jazz at its best. The perfect accoutrement for a low-key soiree with a few close friends in a tropical location with warm breeze blowing the sunsetting and casting brilliant shades of orange and purple and libations all around. Warm and fuzzy feelings. By Your Side, Cherish the Day, Lovers Rock, Paradise, All About Our Love, Bulletproof Soul, The Moon and the Sky, In Another Time, Somebody Already Broke My Heart, Soldier of Love.... The Classics - The Sweetest Taboo, Is It a Crime, Your Love is King, Kiss of Life, No Ordinary Love
Now it's time for the Queen of R&B/ Soul from the nineties...Toni Braxton "Unbreak My Heart". Such a beautiful voice, full of feeling!
“How Many Ways” would be my choice.✌🏽
@@gabrielmcdonnell8699 Yes! Definitely a treasure! 👍
My favorite concert ever! Every comment below is spot on. The band is incredible, and she is incredible. I had to bribe the group in front of me to shut up and listen. Age was the leverage and binoculars were the tool. Everybody wanted a closer look at perfection.
So glad you you finally got to Sade, and this will put me on a Sade binge...again. 4:20 Agree with all the positive comments. Please react to "Kiss of Life" "Is it a Crime?" and the classic "Smooth Operator" with the classic sax solo.
Her voice just puts me in a really nice trance.
RYAN: You NEED “Your love is King” in your life, you will add it immediately to your playlists I promise
The live version from San Diego is absolutely fantastic!
You need to do" Never as Good as the First Time" by Sade absolute Fire!!!!
Yes! I concur.
Yup and I love the male vocalist on this track as well.✌🏽
Sade is grown folks music it's a mood this album is a r&b classic there catalog is awesome
"Bullet Proof " is one of Sade's best.
She is amazing.Smooth as melted butter.
70's baby!! The music we had covered so many spectrums!!
Stunning in every way
Sade
SADE is Anglo-Nigerian. She went to school in England and started her career in London and got her break by accident. She wasn’t the lead singer in a band but when they heard her that was it. She now lives in England. You should watcher live aid performance from 1985 Wembley. As an added you should also watch Sam Brown doing her single “Stop”. She’s another British R&B singer that also sung back up for Pink Floyd.
Ahhh , the quiet storm that is Sade ... sexiest music of all time.
❤Sade has one of the smoothest contralto tones ever. Definitely perfect for a Valentine playlist.
This song...and this beautiful lady is what being sexy and classy is all about. Never once has Sade had to shake her rear, flaunt her bosom, or act vulgar in any way to get her story across. We are in a sad time for music right now as it seems most females in R&B, Hip Hop, and Pop have no musical talent and instead rely on ridiculously and shamelessly flashing their bodies to sell songs. Truly sad.
Amen to that! My thoughts exactly 😣
true...she's beyond gorgeous...but she was also, sadly, a heroin addict..so there is that.
You should react to "Smooth Operator" and Your Love is King - both 80s classics. Btw there is a huge Nigerian community in the UK.
her band is amazing; Sade is a whole GROUP effort for sure; and her band has an own LP "Sweetback "; SADE is no+ on LP; and i+'s an amazing record w some Gues+ singers
Amel Larrieux. 🖤
"The Sultry Queen"...!! Search "Sade 1983 San Diego live concert" Wherever your imagination took you in this audio performance, see her live performance in this video to really appreciate the total package! Then and only then, you can really appreciate her unique, one-of-a-kind talent!!!
Love Deluxe is in my top 10 favorite albums of all time. Sade reached their pinnacle with this release in 1992. Its 9 songs of pure bliss. "No Ordinary Love" and "Kiss of Life" are probably the two most popular cuts from the album so no surprise to me you went there.
Sade won a Grammy for this song. And rightfully so.
Sade is what you play in the bedroom during that special time with your lover. So smooth!
Smooth Operator is the cut I like.So smooth it makes the ice melt.
Sade is 🔥. My personal favorite is Kiss of Life but I also love Smooth Operator. I have the Best of Sade CD…all of the songs are fantastic!
One of my favorites by SADE😅
This is a song about 1 sided relationship. They were together and he broke away, she's trying to show him how much she loves him and how far shes willing to go to prove and keep this extraordinary love she feels. The video is pretty on point showing her as a mermaid falling for a human sailor.
I love when reactions can appreciate the goodness of amazing #music!
Experiencing it with the ear that I listen with. Loving what I love…Great reaction Guys!✌🏾👍🏾🫶🏾
SADE- One of One!
People say you don't take music to the beach, but i love listening to Sade with the waves hitting the shore in the background. They sound like they could have been part of the songs all along.
Try "kiss of life", the most mello, yet happy song you'll probably hear.
YES!! More Sade!!!
Beauty, class, stage presence She...is wonderfully haunting in her vocal delivery. Dim the lights on this & enjoy again. & again
She really is ethereal
She is a great singer, and her band is TIGHT!!!
Sade's "King of Sorrow" will make you cry.
The lovely Sade - what a Valentine's Day treat! Thanks guys. She really is in a league of her own. So many fabulous songs already mentioned. I don't think she has a bad one. Kiss of Life, Sweetest Taboo and King of Sorrow are personal favourites. I could go on ...
I've been listening to Sade for a long time. I can't think of a bad song she's written. Actually, the whole band writes the songs. Great stuff.
VERY good musicians
Sade Adu is the full name of the vocalist of Nigerian origin, they are certainly a very talented group, I listened to all their popular songs, this group has quite a few popular songs, it’s difficult to single out something, plus millions of views on UA-cam, so, this is a mixture of jazz, pop and vibe, the vibe is present in almost every song, of course I like the very first albums of the group, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988, and the beginning of the 90s, I always wrote that the best time in the era of the music industry fell from 1967 to 1992, 25 years of the golden era, then everything went downhill. Be sure to come back to Sade a little later, it's worth it!
The band was outstanding!
This thing about Sade. The studio version. Can't compare to her live performances. Went to her last 2 world tours. The band is amazing. MAGIC. 🎉
Ryan knowing your sax addiction and how you fell in love with Sade's voice on this reaction please play 'Smooth Operator' from 1984. A real Jazz vibe to it, her fantastic vocals and the icing on the cake a brilliant sax break in the song.
Gorgeous lady, gorgeous music. If Prince, Joni Mitchell and Maxwell had a musical love child, she’d be it.❤❤❤
Sade is one of the BEST female voices ever (not too hard on the eyes either :) ) But her back up group is FANTASTIC..on every song /every album. Much the same as Simply Red !
I HIGHLY recommend to react to Is It A Crime (Live in San Diego) Your minds will be blown. It's such a sexy performance. The sax player is 🔥 and she is stunning!! IT'S AMAZING!!!
You MUST get the dvd , she has an amzing voice but her whole persona, you see her in that slinky dress and it is Over! Amazing!
Love Deluxe is one of the best albums of all time! If you want to lose yourself in the longing and heartache that love contains then this is the piece of art to listen to.
Like a Tattoo blows me away every time.
"Your Love Is King" should be reviewed by you guys next. Sade has so many great tunes. I love watching your reactions to music that I've known since she released it. Keep up the great reactions.
"Is It a Crime" must be on your list. Sooo good! And I've heard that she and the band are working on a new album. I hope it happens because there's been nothing like her music since.
❤Love this reaction!! Great artists!!! “Your Love is King” will knock your *ick in the dirt!! Keep Sade going. Rumors have it they’re working on new music in France at Brad Pitts new studio there… keep a look out
*Another voice that will take you out of your body was the band MAZZY STAR. Check out their song FLOWERS IN DECEMBER [1996]. Hauntingly beautiful.*
Their New Order cover is 🔥
Sade canta demais!Amo todas as suas músicas 😍ótimas performances sempre 👏👏👏vocês podem escolher qualquer uma de suas músicas, que terão uma reação de ...borboletas voando 😍
Hey its the beginning of "Trip-Hop." Sade brought that Trip-Hop sound to the spot light.
Never As Good As The First Time is a great one for next time.
Her voice is like velvet.
“Paradise” is so smooth, Ryan will lose his mind.
Perfect for Ryan’s trademark neck rolls. 👌🏾
Beautiful lady with a beautiful voice. I used to listen to SADE in bars and lounges in my 20's in Montreal. Everyone had her albums. We loved her. I haven't read the other comments, but I have a feeling someone has mentioned "Smooth Operator" and "Sweetest Taboo". Both are classic SADE hits. You'll love them. I'm not surprised this album HAS GONE 4 times platinum...so far. ;)
Thanks for the memories, Guys.
Yes sir I saw her in San Antonio on this album she was just pure SADE her voice is amazing ❤😂
🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥 one of a kind TALENT!!! Check out Nothing Can Come Between Us and Sweetest Taboo. Quintessential smooth and romantic lyrics and fantastic music that showcases her voice, but allows the band to shine, as well. Great music that stands the test of time.
Sade sings in the movie True Lies the rainy scene in the hotel where Arnold is playing the voice on the tape. Her voice is hauntingly beautiful.
"Is It A Crime" has got to be the best recording Sade has made. And that song should be experienced WITH the video. A masterpiece.
Time for 'The sweetest Taboo' , 'Nothing can come between us' , 'Hang on to your Love' , etc, etc ;)
Paradise, Your Love is King, Sweetest Taboo, need to do them all.
Woah, the chills from this song.😮
Sade's album 'Love Deluxe' is a timeless masterpiece which be listen to a thousand years from now! I love all the songs from the album. However, my favorite is Bulletproofsoul. Everytime I listen to this album its like hearing it for the first time.
An absolutely perfect album
gotta watch them in concert...you will fall over...amazing
I’ve seen Sade 6 times that’s how much I love her. I even took my Mom twice
Ryan will LOVE “Your Love Is King” because…SAX!
Sade's "Kiss Of Life" is a must react. Perfect listening to while walking on the beach. 🌊
Brilliant gentlemen a gem
My favorite from Sade is "Never As Good as the First Time" and the video is fun to watch.
Sade is one of my all-time favorite female artist. Love everything she does. She's totally smooth jazz 🎺 and absolutely beautiful!!! She's going to be their favorite singer and her band. ❤❤❤
Kiss Of Life- Sade
