It frustrates me to no end that Nakamura has been an lower midcarder for years now. What a waste of his talents.
@@Yu3008. Imo not even the worst part of that run. Joe should've won
I was there in NY for wrestlemania 35. The finish definitely seemed really out of the blue and lackluster at the time.
Ignoring the subject matter for now I'd like to appraise the quality of the B-roll on this channel, it is superb, it's like watching official documentaries.
Great work as always Wrestlelamia team. Thanks for keeping us entertained.
9:27 1 of the BIGGEST BOTCHES of All Time
Triple H injured both his quad was brutal
AJ Styles rips his tight was hilarious
3:59
"He's gonna puke!"
Kurt vs Shane was one of the last pay per view matches I watched. Seeing Shane dumped on his head was scary.
McMahon seriously needs to take a chill pill backstage.
Never understood the moaning about the WM X8 Maven spot; he *did* hit the can, knocking it into Goldust; he wasn't meant to hit Goldie directly...
I had to replay it so many times, what's wrong with the dropkick??? He hits it fine?
Lesnar going off backstage after finishing a huge match whilst concussed is raw as hell
9:00 She's completely right tbf. Her shoulders were not even remotely down for a large portion of that count, so the ref shouldn't have been counting
Miz didn’t even try to catch r truth
I remember there was a botch in Royal Rumble where the Rock wasn't supposed to be out but his feet touched the ground first before Big Show.
Angle Vs Shane-O-Mac at King of the Ring still sits at the top of my favourite matches list !
Did anyone else see triple H holding onto that staff members hair for dear life😂
I love the inclusion of "footage" of HHH losing it backstage and telling off the Miz
Aj Styles was so phenomenal back in the day that even ripped tights couldn't take quality of his matches away . Im surprised that WrestleLamia called this match underrated..By no means it's should be remembered as malfunction coz it was peak of Aj in WWE and he was making art in the ring with anybody.
AJ truly is phenomenal! In the early to mid 2000s I discovered TNA and became a big fan of their product. Discovering a 20 something year old AJ flawlessly executing some crazy, never before seen high risk maneuvers was a treat. Man did he have some epic matches and moments back then!
I heard that Vince was so angry at Braun, he threatened to send him to a local medical facility.
The lesnar shooting star press was crazy, ive seen the move done by Billy Kidman so many times that when Lesnar did it and hit his head, I honestly thought he was doing a different move altogether. Plus he showed up fine on live tv afterwards so I didnt know that it was a botch. It wasnt until years later that I realized how bad it truly was
Vince was in a frenzy imagining AJ dropping the soap
0:19 I have literally never seen Triple H with this hairstyle someone please explain this
I'm so glad Vince is gone...he was so out of touch with things for the past 15 years if not longer
Missed the taker dive where the camera man was supposed to catch him
Dean and AJ had a hell of a match
“It’s not a title shot, it’s a title match!” Same sht Vince jeez
When Ronda only has 6 months of training a major botch on her happens. She was awful in the ring. And she never improved and never trained again in her 3 years when she quit after the wm35 main event
You can poop on someone's head but a small rip in your pants is out of line for VINCE
You can tell The Game was truly pissed off 0:39
That Shane o Mac and Angle spot still makes me wince to this day. But goddamn, mistake or not, that era is still something else
Its IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE A PERFECT MATCH EVERYTIME.
But i definitely have even more respect for these guys
That's one of those ideas where, if he actually pulls it off, people will say "A man of his size doing something like that? Amazing!" And of course when he botches it people will say, "Dude. What did you expect? Look at the size of that guy!!!"
Goldberg had to be there!!
4:00 "HE'S GONNA PUKE!!!!!!"
I remembered seeing that lesner spot with friends. Someone said "Welp he's paralyzed".
R Truth getting injured by getting eliminated by Miz was weird
Shinsuke injured John Cena's head ended his push
The thing with the Brock botch as well, Angle was scheduled to have Neck surgery the next week. if Both Brock and Angle had broken necks, they would of had to come up with a new champ very fast
BENOIT!
H couldn’t even jump to sell the RKO, he literally just falls over, I can’t imagine what he’s thinking in moments like this
I know it's not WWE but I would venture a guess that when Jeff Hardy came out in no shape to wrestle Sting that panic was an understatement.
#2 *_So that WAS the planned finish_* - the botch was Ronda didn't have her shoulder down far enough. She was TRYING to get them down for the count.
"Maven misses..." would be an endless UA-cam-Show...
I screamed when Goldberg botched 'Taker. I was genuinely terrified something worse happened to him.
Let's not forget when Nia Jax returned at last year's Royal Rumble. Her theme song played before the entrance timer had even started counting down. Apparently, there was sheer panic backstage.
Not adding Owen Hart is an insult
He has been put under the papers ...down the bottom...let's forget...
Assholes
Kurt Angle vs Shane Mcmahon match at 2001 was infamous
back in the VHS days, any run of the mill PPV from 2001 (excluding wrestlemania) could be purchased 2nd hand for 3 or 4 bucks. King of the Ring 2001 however was always $30 or more specifically due to that match
Lmao. Vince was really trying to book Maven with the most dangerous drop kick in the business. Kudos to Vince for coming up with a gimmick that would make the dropkick get a pop again!
Anyone know if DX were supposed to win or lose that match against Rated RKO before they had to improvise and cause a DQ? AND if the main event at Mania 23 was Cena vs HHH part 2 who was HBK supposed to wrestle that year?
To be fair, Maven didn't miss the trash can, Golddust lowered the trashcan after he'd launched the kick. Dust didn't seem to think he could reach that far up
I feel bad for thinking that the AJ one was pretty hilarious😂
Vince has more anger management issues than Bruce Banner 😼😼😼
Im surprised that Cena and Batista's double elimination at the 2005 Royal Rumble match didn't make the cut!
And Shinsuke's career has been downhill ever since that botch with Cena
As of late he’s been better off than he was before. At least he gets promo packages now
