It wasn’t just the match with Randy Orton that ruined Kennedy’s career. Kennedy also injured John Cena in a match that gave John a torn pectoral muscle. My two guesses on why Randy got Kennedy fired are 1.) Kennedy made Randy land on a nerve or muscle on his back that made Randy think that he landed on his head and John Cena backed up Randy by saying that he also thought Kennedy was reckless. 2.) Randy was a little threatened by Kennedy’s potential to be a main eventer. Both are just as likely. But unless you’re in the position of Randy or Kennedy, you can never know for sure.

Same happened with Undertaker, he pulled down the knee pad of Mysterio and Mysterio's 619 caused him injury, so why do people blame Mysterio?
Brian Kendrick actually didn't put his hand up to protect his face. So that was definitely on Brian. Idk maybe Brian wanted to make it look real which is fine but that doesn't mean someone should get fired for it
I was such a fan of Mr Kennedy, and when he was fired I was really surprised. I guess he was his own worst enemy, but that guy had a great gimmick and look back then.

Hart concussed himself earlier in the match during the ring post spot. Goldberg called the kick spot and Hart, likely due to being concussed from smacking his head on the concrete earlier, didn’t protect himself from the kick and got concussed again.

I can perform the same move on you, repeatedly, using different holds and grips, and still slam you as hard or as soft as I want. Not only that, but BOTH performers have to work together to make any more work. At least 8 out of 10 botches are because the person taking the move didn't jump, push off, or rotate correctly. To this day i still wonder how that Back Suplex from Mr Kennedy is a "botch". It looked clean to me. Perhaps Orton is the one to blame for not selling it correctly.
It's kinda unfair to say Puder went into business for himself. He was never supposed to be a major part of that segment, but Kurt disobeyed orders and allowed himself to take on a trained MMA fighter in a completely unscripted shoot match while injured, what did Angle expect to happen?
I’m not saying you’re wrong, but with the backstage politics and mentality at the time (main eventers having huge egos and expecting everyone beneath them to be perfect) I wouldn’t be surprised if Kurt thought Puder should know to accept the match and let Kurt win. In other words, “if he doesn’t know how to handle this, he shouldn’t be here”. If Puders instinct was to make Kurt look bad on live TV when he’s the rookie, that would be a major red flag to his own reputation. Again, not saying you’re wrong, but the talent back then weren’t exactly the most lenient. I mean, Randy and Cena wouldn’t let rookies use ice until they “earned it”
@@jamiek9780 Couldn't agree more. When you are the rookie you always sell for the big guys but he tried to embarrass the main eventer. That is known as a big no no unless Vince approved it.

Shocker all these guys were killed by the dude who is no longer there thankfully besides austin aries that was all his own doing that man has talent in the ring but his mouth is what gets him in trouble
Puder's case is so annoying and reveals how toxic the jealous veterans were at that point in time. It was Angle who went into business for himself by challenging Puder to a shoot fight. Puder then got punished because he easily owned Angle instead of the company running with it and pushing Puder for being a tough guy. The other petty bullies like Hollie, Benoit and Guerrero were all too happy to use that as an excuse to gang up on someone who would have destroyed them in a 1v1. Puder's run is one of these cases that just boils by piss, wrestlers punished for no reason by jealous old guys and inept bookers, same with Hassan.
Hasan was trash, bro. I admit he was good at the mic and he was good at provoking audience's emotion while talking funny, but his in-ring skill was worse than common jobbers. His opponents made him look good.
@@HonestFarmerLigue1Fan He was green in the ring true, but he was also in his early to mid 20s, he had so much time left to improve in the ring, and with his promo abilities and charisma he would have been a very valuable top heel for many years to come. Actually Orton's lower back landed on Mr. K's shoulder that's why both were in pain it is not the neck.
I mean, Randy and Cena wouldn’t let rookies use ice until they “earned it”
@@jamiek9780puder just crushed Kurt's ego that's all
@@jamiek9780 Couldn't agree more. When you are the rookie you always sell for the big guys but he tried to embarrass the main eventer. That is known as a big no no unless Vince approved it.
@@TheVeemon I just couldn’t see that same situation happening today. No one with that kind of ego as a rookie would make it through the curtain, and no talent right now would put a rookie in such an odd unscripted situation on live TV. The culture these days just doesn’t work like that
@@jamiek9780 I may not be a big fan anymore ever since they went PG but I'm more than happy to admit the politics and locker room antics changed for the better quite significantly. Taker and the others ran things like a high school clique.
Kennedy vs angle that's all you need to say he was an awesome heel who you really loved to hate to say that after wwe he didn't capture his potential is a bit right and wrong but that angle feud it looks to me that randy and cena saw his potential to eclipse both maybe true maybe not they didn't take any chances and got him fired imo
Anderson was what he was known as forget to add
I remember a backdrop orton gave to someone to an announce table and threw him so hard it looked nasty and ortons face immediately after that showed he new he f'd up that was way worse then the Kennedy backdrop
Actually Bret already had a concoction when he did the figure four around the ring post Bill didn't catch Brets leg and Bret hit his head on the floor if you look at it Eric bishop even commented on it Bret then Said it it's just the kick to his head finished it off.
Get well soon❤ you clearly sound Sick
GET WELL SOON LAMIA!!!
mr.kenndy ❤
AA was a lower mid card guy at best in WWE
10:15 there was no drink bro, D'lo just dropped him on his head accidentally.
7:22 I don’t think it’s fair that, He’s got a whole camera in his hands and taker is far away from him. He’s got to put the camera down and then catch the entire weight of the Undertaker Which is more weight than him, to release him is not fair.
It's okay to say "the biggest company in the world" you'll survive 😂😂😂😂
If you’re using injuries then Rick rude and curt hennig should be included.
Him having so much potential was why so many veterans were petty and bitter about him. He did not deserve what happened to him was my main point, he did as he was told and they canceled him for it.
You got a new mic?
Mr Kennedy was goated frfr
Calling John Morrison a mid carder is scandalous behavior
I remember saying it in 2005 that Mr. Kennedy is gonna be the new Rock/Austin and he definitely was on his way until Orton had his menstrual cycle on that Monday.
Austin Aries was the real deal at one point
