It looks like what we’d get if the id Tech 2 engine version of Duke Nukem Forever actually came out, being to that version what Phantom Fury is the 2001 build of the Unreal Engine version.
No sooner did I think "Bears in Space looks like the first level of every Ratchet and Clank game" than Civvie confirmed my greatest hopes. I was laughing just at how awkward the police badge was, with "department" taking up an entire side of the emblem, and then I saw the melee animation. I think this might be the one for me.
I think what's nice about this is that Civvie always gives legitimately constructive and positive criticism, and I like to think that enough eyes are on this channel that it gets back to the devs eventually.

Civvie, I just played the demo of Mullet Mad Jack based on your recommendation. As a weeb myself this game hits all the right spots, having a blast while simultaneously making me nostalgic of the 90s. I would also like to add that this "Streamer Parody" storyline is what Randy wishes his Borderlands 3 game could have been: Done damn well! I plan on upgrading my monthly support tier for sure in a few weeks, would do sooner but Uncle Sam just ran my pockets like Debo. Great review!

As a weeb myself this game hits all the right spots, having a blast while simultaneously making me nostalgic of the 90s. I would also like to add that this "Streamer Parody" storyline is what Randy wishes his Borderlands 3 game could have been: Done damn well!
I plan on upgrading my monthly support tier for sure in a few weeks, would do sooner but Uncle Sam just ran my pockets like Debo.

I may be late and haven't checked all the comments, but Mullet Mad Jack reminds me of a Ludum Dare I tried in... 2013 or something? Where the theme was 10 seconds. It feels like it started there, and then got polished over 11 years, and we got this, and it got GLORIOUS. Will definitely check it out.
