I needed a Dr. Sean O'Mara video tonight!! God Bless you sir! You're on the cutting edge... I'm eating your information up like I eat a T-BONE... TO THE BONE...!!!
In case anyone was wondering about SPRINTING frequency and duration, Dr. O’Mara said this (paraphrased) in another video: Nature favors variety. He gets his clients to mix it up. Some sprints as short as 3 seconds, but the sweet spot is 6-10 seconds. The longest he would ever recommend is 30 seconds because past that 10-12 seconds you’ve gone through your glycogen if you’re doing 100% max effort. You don’t get much benefit if you go longer. Do 6-10 sprints about every other day. Sometimes back to back, sometimes resting in between sprints 2-5 minutes, sometimes one hour (ie sprint, go in the house and work, go back out to sprint an hour later. Change it up.) If you’re not experienced, start very slow and accelerate, and just do a few. Add more as you become more accomplished. Start slow and purposeful, accelerate slowly, then get up to your max speed. Always take care and focus on NOT injuring yourself.
My first sprint was 3 seconds it was ugly. I am 73. I was a sprinter in jr high, high school and college. I have a sprinter mindset. But I want to be careful so I don’t over do it. My first sprint was about about 10 feet. My feet could not keep up with my brain. Now 20 days later they are. I think this is super important because I know my much faster feet will help prevent falls which are life threatening to older people. I stole bases on the HS baseball team. So I am now sprinting about 75 to 80 feet which is about all you needed to sprint to steal a base. I don’t jog. Dr Omara convinced me jogging is counterproductive. You only have to tell a sprinter not to jog one time. Jogging makes you lose speed. Too bad many coaches don’t understand that. I know sprinting is making a difference. I had a lot of loose skin from losing weight the past several years. I am hoping it helps with autophagy and tightens my skin up. I think it is. I have been low carb since 1996 and carnivore since 2020. During all that time, I know my body has been able to access the body’s forgotten energy source: ketones. It is the source we were all able to access until we began eating too many plants.

Great video doc. I'm hoping we can get an interview in the next year. I'm a retired Army National Guard Chief Warrant Officer (RET 2019) with a UA-cam channel focused on improving veterans mental health through the carnivore diet.
The thing that most surprised me about carnivore - not the physical stuff, the mental! I can't believe that after years of depression and anxiety, and a late diagnosis of autism, I am now the happiest, most settled I've ever been. On the carnivore diet I have energy, I sleep better, exercise better, and as a result, my mental health is the best it's ever been! Good luck with your campaign!
8:00 I agree. I don't take any health advice from anyone under 50. I know what it's like spending decades eating whatever I wanted but it didn't affect me until I hit my late 30s early 40s. It looks like I finally figured it out at 57. Thanks to this guy, Baker, Berry, Ekberg, etc.
I did keto and lost 50 pounds at 37. Ended up weighing about 155. It really troubled everyone around did me to see me lose that weight, I mean they lost their minds. They thought I needed to be fat to be healthy.
When I was around 30yr I did 3 months of Tabata Protocol 20 seconds all out sprint 10 second rest . 8 rounds . At the end of the 3 months my body fat was below 8% I had deep abs and obliques sticking out and my VO2 max almost doubled . I lost 10 kgs of pure body fat at the same time I gained 4.5 kg of muscle. I was also doing heavy High intensity weight training . People were saying I must be on steroids, the only thing I was taking was creatine and my diet was clean that’s it.
So glad to hear the impact of sprinting without the other exercises. We just moved and there are no gyms close by. It's sprinting and bodyweight calastenics for now.
I’ve lost a significant amount of disgusting back fat/love handles from a low carb, meat based diet, fasting and walking fast paced for an hour. Try to get 10k steps per day. Can’t wait to take it to the next level with sprinting. I’ve been sprinting during my walk occasionally for 4-5 30 second sprints. I’ll be doing more of it.
I would like a video on the different options for fermented foods. Which are best, how to choose, etc. I mean a more detailed video. I have added a small amount of lacto fermented pickled cucumbers and was thinking about adding a small amount of cheese.
Mahalo Dr Sean, I have been doing your shared protocol for almost four weeks and I have been getting results! I have dropped my 6-day a week 6-13 mile runs and have been doing three days a week of 20 second sprinting for a mile and half after a one mile jog to warm up - btw I sweat like crazy for such a short distance. I have joined an intense 60 minute ocean aqua sprinting class for Tri-athletes and a twice a week 40 minute kettle bell workouts. I have evolved from pure keto to pure carnivore. My chest, back, love handles and thigh fat pockets are shrink which have been holding out for the past 18 months after losing 216 lbs. Thank you so much - as the runners who taught me to run three years ago are shocked as they seem my body morph so quickly. I love your work and your videos as I'm 59 years old energy engineer and a young engineer said I look like a "player" now - whatever that means.😃
its amazing how MANY different voices ive listened to over the last 4 years on how to build muscle, burn fat, get shredded, etc. all these techniques, diet and yet no clear working answers. im 65 and lost 50 lbs. i weigh less than i did at 16 years old with a less than 12% body fat yet that LAST little bit of my slight love handles that wraps around your back is the most stubborn last to go. you are the FIRST who gave sensible solutions i already know will work for me. SO glad for my friend who sent me your talk with dr berry.
You speak from the heart and give great advice, that's why we all love you Dr. Thank you for all that you do. You're helping so many people live their best lives.
Thank you Dr OMara. I appreciate all the information you provide without being influenced by sponsors. You have a good heart, literally and figuratively
I'm seven weeks into the strategies and have noticed a visible difference in my "Back Bacon"...😂. Also, I can easily fit into 31" waist jeans------ I think it's my limit, they're very comfortable, but not stretchy Dad jeans!! 😂. Thanks Dr. O'Mara !
I have watched so so so so many health related videos, and Dr. Sean O'Mara puts it all together in the most coherent way! Dr. Sean O'Mara is the only inspirational speaker that I need. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this. I’m a swimmer and instead of swimming breaststroke slowly for many lengths, I’m building up and sprinting front crawl. Thank you for this information. I’m now eating pretty clean. Ketovore. I’m fermenting dairy and starting making sauerkraut.
Hi! My son made some kim chi a few weeks ago. (fermented Korean cabbage) . You can make it as mild or spicy as you like & just like spaghetti sauce, there are a ton of recipes.👍
I had a big heart attack almost 2 years ago. My EF they say is down to 26. I’m 75 years old. I’m up to walking 2 to 4 miles several times a week. I work in 5 or 6 sprints that are maybe 10 seconds long during these miles. I huff and puff but no chest pain and I recover quickly. I ask my doctors if this is safe. They are surprised I can do that much with such a bad heart but they tell me it’s safe and to keep doing it. I’m not trying to lose weight and eat mostly carnivore.
Sorry to hear about the heart attack - big bummer. So proud to read of your current program and climb back to strong health. I'm right there with you on your journey. At 73, have advanced CVD but fortunately no heart attacks. Full carnivore for close to 2 years (and got my girlfriend to go carnivore also), sprints, and some gym exercise. My cardiologist is totally NOT on board, but my general practitioner is wholely on board. So much so she is now working to reduce her visceral fat.
@@foodmonsterweightloss5886 Do you know your caclcium score? I had the test done 15 years ago. It showed my arteries were full of plaque. I changed my diet the next day. I started with paleo and then through the years progressed to keto, carnivore and now mostly carnivore. But in the last three years I’ve had two heart attacks. First one they put in a stent, sent me home and in a month felt good as new. The second one occurred about a year later. Didn’t even know I had it until I woke up in a hospital bed two weeks later. They said I died five times. A clot had formed right at the stent they had previously implanted. After the first heart attack I took the statin and blood thinners they put me on. After a year the prescriptions for the blood thinners weren’t renewed and I stopped taking the statin because I don’t believe in them. A month later I had the second attack. Got a lot of pushback from family and doctors concerning my diet. They thought it was obvious that that was what was killing me. After much thought I decided my diet actually had saved me. It made me strong and metabolically healthy. I’m sure that was why I also survived a positive diagnosis of Covid while I was still in the hospital. My previous calcium test told me I had been developing serious heart disease long before I changed my diet. I still refuse to take a statin but expect to be on blood thinners for rest of life. I have recently read Dr. Malcolm Kendrick’s new book “The Clot Thickens’’. Please get this book and read it. It is well written plus he has a biting sense of humor. He has devoted his life to finding the cause of heart disease by reading the published scientific research. He concludes it is a disease of clotting initially caused by injury to the endothelial lining of the arteries and that high cholesterol has almost nothing to do with it. If I had read this before my heart attack I would have immediately restarted taking blood thinners. Maybe that would have prevented my second attack and perhaps this book could help you and others to not have their first.
Yeah, blood thinners are one of the only things I could recommend to people with cardiovascular risk.. I'm glad you've pulled through this far, you can do it! Get your exercise in best you can,
Great video. I have been on a no processed food, high meat diet on a 6hr eating window and its been working wonders. I'll add the supplements into my pursuit to remove my love handles! (
Dr. Sean, can you please showcase a FABULOUS scan of a woman? I would love that! You keep showing the male sprinter, which is great, but women could never relate to that for biological reasons. Maybe show us the scan of a woman sprinter! I love your work. I'm down 7 inches from my waistline and my hubby's pants are sliding down.
I can attest that sprinting gets easier the more you do it. I now try to sprint every day. I have found that I cannot have any poisons in my system when sprinting. If I did, I would have extreme pain in my quadriceps muscles. Have experienced many benefits in 7 good weeks on the 7 strategies. I have not done the sauna, but will do soon!! Also short on photos, damn! No proof, but I can see the difference.
Another great video, Dr. Sean! Added sauerkraut and was able to get around twice as much ribeye as usual. Thanks for talking to me the other afternoon 😊
The idea that genetics determins what young people cal look like and lifestyle determines what old people look like is why I stopped going to the doctor in 1996. Good point about carnivore versus vegan. Also have seen people improve on whole food vegan versus processed food. I have never eaten processed foods since I went carnivore in 1983. Have fermented milk for decades, and occasionally fermented plant material like banana flowers. I love aged cheddar and gouda. Have been considering adding more fermented plant material but have not done it yet. Never really understood why fat was called "Love Handles" though.
The reason is #8 on his list 😂 …and it isn’t all fat that’s called “love handles” - it’s only the fat right above the hips on the backside… (hopefully that is clear enough haha)
I began sprinting. Age 72.😩 I thought I was taking it slowly. However, I did manage to strain my MCL in my left knee. Several weeks now. I will begin again when I have no pain in that knee. Almost there. Sure appreciate your content.
Weren’t we told not to run? So we won’t destroy our joints into old age. Now we’re sprinting? Whatever happens to steady state cardio in fat burning zone? No wonder we’re fat. Everyone giving conflicting info.
I luv the fact that you are so down to earth. I do not “connect” with other carnivore doctors. Plus they do not look as good 🤗. Truth not flirting! You keep it real. I do agree about the fermented foods. Our microbiome is vital to our health. We are too clean. Back to basics. I would focus on organic foods because of all the chemicals they are spraying on food ( and 👆🏼). Fat hold toxins. Waiting for you to expand to NY in 1 - 1.5 years. My favorite part is reading the comments. Videos are awesome but community is important. They encourage you to stick to things until you are through the hardest part.
I love your video's. I tore my meniscus last summer sprinting😢...I had just started raising the number of days per week😢. I haven't sprinted since. I didnt have the tear surgically repaired so diet and exploring these exercises you are talking about here. 🎉🎉
Definitely a good call to avoid surgery (if it’s possible) in the knee! Diet/fasting will help a ton/fix it most of the time, but if it’s not enough… then look into (non-surgical) ultrasound or laser therapy - I did that 10 years ago after a meniscal tear (I have permanent laxity in one knee after a major PCL/LCL tear 5 years before that) and after just 5 straight days of therapy I was back on the volleyball court 2-3x a week going hard again… and it was cheap ($15/session) - or if the tear is more serious and/or blood-flow weak, then look into regenerative therapies like PRP, stem cell, etc. Long term outcomes for all major knee surgeries are nearly 100% degenerative by 10-15 years out. Arthroscopic is better, but the standard treatment is generally just cutting away your meniscus (a debridement)… you don’t want that if you can help it. That will only accelerate bone-on-bone action and arthritis. Good luck!
Research copper/zinc. It repairs connective tissue. There are great videos out there. I have an aortic aneurysm newly diagnosed. It happened in April 2021 thanks to long Covid. I have had a host of issues since then. My knees being the latest. I have a moving company. I could not do it for 10 months. Back on track with exercise, carnivore and my latest addition just 5 days ago, zinc/copper. No pain once so ever, no inflammation and I can feel my knees getting stronger by the day! I am excited to see if my tissue return back to normal! There was a study that said aortic aneurysm are healed completely by copper. I have NOTHING to lose by trying!
If you are older and do max effort work out, you must first perfect your form, strength and conditioning before going all out. It is very easy to damage your tendons if your conditioning and strength have not been build up gradually. Once tendons are injured, they don't heal fast.
It was very strange but just after I watched your video I watched one on the Lymphapress channel about Lipedema (which I have) and how it may be caused by a subclincal compartmental syndrome. It interesting that you both were talking about the same thing the deep subcutaneous fat. Dr Karen Herbst was explaining that the calf pumping the fluid may be crucial.and I could help but think maybe sprinting puts the right pressure on that calf muscle.
I don’t know if it’s related, but in Eastern medicine they’ve long understood the importance of circulation to and return from the feet-that’s why they have feet stimulators and exercises (standing on a bump) to help pump blood back to your heart. Also a huge emphasis on acupuncture points in the feet for each organ/area of the body. I don’t know a ton about this specifically, but it could link together! One thing is for sure… it’s amazing how interconnected and interdependent aspects of our body are, and how much whole body health matters.
Very interesting to see you point out fermented foods for Microbes NOT food. We fell into the trap of eating way too much yummy homemade yogurt. We even occasionally just had yogurt for dinner. We quickly stareted putting on subcutanious fat. Not dangerous, but not what we wanted either.
@@jBjBjBjBjBjBjBjBjBjBjB Of course it does, if you eat enough of it. Fat is actually the easiest macronutrient to store as body fat. Combining lots of fat with lots of carbs and eating at a surplus is the perfect recipe for diabetes. Millions of fat Americans can confirm this. Depending on the type of fat you eat it can also take quite long until you feel satisfied, so it can be very easy to overeat. Since it also has the highest calories per gram, you don't need to overeat much to get into a high caloric surplus quickly.
@@xnoreqyeah, mixing fat with sugar is the real killer. It's the easiest one for the body to store, yes, though that's a good thing if you need subcutaneous fat on your bones for survival - alcohol and fructose getting covered to fat causes all sorts of carnage.
Dr. Sean...Could you please tell us why you don't like IR Saunas? Is it that you just prefer Dry Saunas or you believe that IR Saunas(even at a lower temperatures) cause harm. That was the feeling I got.....I think it's important to address this because it put a fright in me and maybe others who do IR Saunas. Thank you.
Thank you for this one Dr Sean! I can do MIE vice sprinting. I'm 71, 4 1/2 months carnivore, and I am shedding inches more than weight. I have a spare tire that used to be hard but is getting softer and flabbier by the day. The only parts of your your protocol I'm not doing...yet...is fermented, MIE, and NAC.
eat more meat for the most benefit! fatty ruminant meat is the best of all, but all meats and fish are good. but fat is extremely important as an energy source and to support your body's production of hormones, brain cells, and cell structures throughout the body!
My wife has myocarditis. And after watching Dr Seans video. I’m convinced that why after a certain shot her visceral fat is what caused her heart problem. She eats the plate. Whole grains, plant oils.
Thanks for the great help! Do you have a recommended frequency of the 48-96 hour fasts? Any difference in duration/frequency if dry fasting vs water fasting?
I opened this video to see how to get rid of the bad fat. Perhaps a video on just what to do to get rid of the bad fat would be helpful. I can't really sprint anymore, I played football through college, because now my hamstring balls up very easily. Very painful and don't really want to go there. I did a fast, but worked out at about 55 hours and checked my blood sugar an hour after....60 so decided to start earlting.
I am sprinting once sometimes twice a week. I weight train one to two times a week. I intermittent fast regularly and do 24 hour fasts a couple times per month and am starting 3 day fasts a couples time a month. I eat fermented veggies daily and strict carnivore. My question is do you need to sprint daily?
Thanks so much for this great information, all doctors should follow your lead! How can we get doctors to order these scans and get insurance companies to pay for them? I am 55, post menopause and have a terrible time losing weight. I’ve been trying to shed about 10lbs and workout 6 days/week with cardio/HIIT/weights and machines and eat predominantly healthy at a calorie deficit. I gain and lose the same few lbs every week, very frustrating! 😣
Thank you for this eyeopening insights. I lost 26 pounds in three months allready (carnivore-ketovore). I am 66 year old without sprint experience. A little anxious to starting up that way of excersise. But i will try this in the near future. Me and my spouse are used to drive long distance with our laiback trikes with trailer and tent. (bikepacking). Gives a lot of pleasure. Should we finish that kind of mobility and just only sprint?? I am trying to figure this out. Thanks again and greetings from the Netherlands
Do you have case studies or examples of women who have successfully used your program? Concerned about the longer duration fasting and effect on hormones, particularly the peri-menopausal / menopausal stage
Look into the work of Dr. Mindy Pelz for women and fasting. In particular she wrote the book “Fast Like a Girl”. She has a lot of UA-cam videos you can check out.
I am 60 yr old male, a controlled T2D and very food conscious. My A1c is always mid 5s. I do 24 hours fasts, just started eating fish/meat again my weight seems to have stalled over the past 3 years, No processed or sweets. I have been going to the gym and in the fall I did a lot of bike riding. I want to try sprints but live in upstate NY and the weather sucks for outdoor exercise. Does anyone know if jump roping will have the same effects as sprinting, at least till spring?
Great information for optimising health and performance! It is eye opening for me even though I am a primary care physician treating so many chronic diseases for over 28 years teaching patients for healthy living and some exercise with the knowledge of the functional medicine but the results were not as what I want to see. One question to Dr. Sean: how to take care the skinny fat people who have uncontrolled diabetes. Thank you so much Sean.
Great video - love the idea of photos. Another comment below talks about pain in the quads if there are toxins in the body - I had that a lot when I started. Going to expand my "sprinting" to include my rowing machine and also more fast and heavy lifting. Thank you so much Dr Sean!!!!
Been in carnivore for 18 days now.. down 9 lbs and feeling amazing today, just started sprints yesterday. I've looked for that bike/elliptical machine you're on and can't find it... What brand is that😂?? Much appreciate the great info, you're changing the world!!
You should do monthly live Q & A videos or take questions from comments & answer the most common ones in a video. I also want to know where you find fermented fruits? I only find fermented vegetables in store, or do you make your own?
Dr. OMara, I would like to ask you. Can you suggest a exercise for someone who is physically unable to sprint or do the other exercise? Due to a crippling back injury and now hip damage due to the many years of not being able to walk. I have been on the carnivore diet since Feb 25 2024. I have noticed a few health changes. Not so much of massive weight loss, but most if not all my swelling (all over my body, but hugely in my legs and feet) is gone and I no longer have reflex reflux at night. It was really bad! I wish I had known about this years ago. I probably would not have ended up the way I am today. But! I am so looking forward to what changes I see in the future. Can this be turned around? That is my goal! :) God Bless Dr. OMara and thank you for sharing all this information. I don't trust doctors anymore because of what I have been through therefore I took my health into my own hands. But you have shown me not all doctors are what I have experience.
Fantastic information and content. I wish I could work with you! You are so passionate about your work and message and it’s contagious!! During your next video/podcast/interview, I would love to hear how you went from Paleo/Keto to Carnivore! Why/what/how did you feel that going carnivore would help you? I think it’s something I would like to try (Carnivore) but I take in too many carbs (right now). Perhaps the best way would be to reduce my carbs (gradually) and then I could jump into Carnivore.
Mon, Wed, Fri I'm on the old people's bicycle at the gym. Every 2 min I'm revving up my speed and hold it for 20 seconds. I'm up to a level 7 so it's pumping pretty hard and I want to go up to 30 seconds. I'm 68, should I stick with 20 seconds? And I'm doing the NAC. 👍
Hi Dr. Sean. I think an interesting video would be your recommendations for an individual interested in bodybuilding. How would the diet change? Does your view of carbohydrates change?
God. I wish I could sleep. Did 18000 steps yesterday plus several swimming lengths . Now it's 7am and I haven't slept for a single second all night. On top which I'm on holiday in Thailand , right by the sea. So fed up with this insomnia. Had it for at least 25 year. Even took two sleeping pills on the flight...got about an hours sleep.
Working on saving to have all my family & I visit you to pay those high fees for MRIs. We all have different views on what’s healthy & ways to work out. Can’t wait to see how healthy each of us is. It will happen, in the not to distant future but in the meantime please, how often should one sprint minimum? I am busy so don’t have a lot of time to work out but tell me is 1 to 2 times a week too little & then how many sprints minimum should you do when you sprint? I heard in one of your videos to switch it up, can you expand on what you mean by that?
@yolandapagan5656 Thank you, Yolanda, for the response. I bought a mini trampoline, and I heard that it's bad for the back. I am going to try swimming sprints. So kind of you to take the time to help
I needed a Dr. Sean O'Mara video tonight!! God Bless you sir! You're on the cutting edge... I'm eating your information up like I eat a T-BONE... TO THE BONE...!!!
Now imHungry for T-Bone 🥩
Everyone, please consider reading"Toxic Superfoods"by Sally Norton so you understand the possibility of oxalate dumping as you heal on carnivore

240lbs down to 175lbs. 5’8” 44yrs old. On my way to 155lbs.
Great video doc. I'm hoping we can get an interview in the next year. I'm a retired Army National Guard Chief Warrant Officer (RET 2019) with a UA-cam channel focused on improving veterans mental health through the carnivore diet.
Heck Yeah Awesome Chief. MNARNG LTC still active but retiring this year. Contact me thru my website DrSeanOMara.com & let’s make that happen. 👊

I can't believe that after years of depression and anxiety, and a late diagnosis of autism, I am now the happiest, most settled I've ever been. On the carnivore diet I have energy, I sleep better, exercise better, and as a result, my mental health is the best it's ever been! Good luck with your campaign!
Thats what I was asking about! Do it! @@DrSeanOMara

When I was around 30yr I did 3 months of Tabata Protocol
20 seconds all out sprint 10 second rest .
8 rounds .
At the end of the 3 months my body fat was below 8%
I had deep abs and obliques sticking out and my VO2 max almost doubled .
I lost 10 kgs of pure body fat at the same time I gained 4.5 kg of muscle.
I was also doing heavy High intensity weight training .
People were saying I must be on steroids, the only thing I was taking was creatine and my diet was clean that’s it.
I lost mine by going very low carb. I'm the leanest since my early 20s over 30 years ago.
Everything has improved.
Did fasting and cut carbs there should be no extra fat on body
So glad to hear the impact of sprinting without the other exercises. We just moved and there are no gyms close by. It's sprinting and bodyweight calastenics for now.
Love it
I’ve lost a significant amount of disgusting back fat/love handles from a low carb, meat based diet, fasting and walking fast paced for an hour.
I started sprints again. And eating fermented foods. I never knew how good Kefir was. I LOVE that stuff!
Funny .. I love Kefir..
Two years Now 😅
Mahalo Dr Sean, I have been doing your shared protocol for almost four weeks and I have been getting results!
It means ye be a "Hawttie" ie a desirable man.
Good post
It means you like to date many women but never settle down. I was accused of this by many women, including my current wife of 16 years.
Maybe you need to compete at sprinting.
Where do I find the shared protocol?
its amazing how MANY different voices ive listened to over the last 4 years on how to build muscle, burn fat, get shredded, etc. all these techniques, diet and yet no clear working answers. im 65 and lost 50 lbs. i weigh less than i did at 16 years old with a less than 12% body fat yet that LAST little bit of my slight love handles that wraps around your back is the most stubborn last to go. you are the FIRST who gave sensible solutions i already know will work for me.
I'm greatly loving the fresh fermented sauerkraut!!
I'm seven weeks into the strategies and have noticed a visible difference in my "Back Bacon"...😂. Also, I can easily fit into 31" waist jeans------ I think it's my limit, they're very comfortable, but not stretchy Dad jeans!! 😂. Thanks Dr. O'Mara !

Gotta burn that buttery back bacon 😂
I have watched so so so so many health related videos, and Dr. Sean O'Mara puts it all together in the most coherent way! Dr. Sean O'Mara is the only inspirational speaker that I need. Thank you so much!
I'd like to see these same info on a female, age 55-65 that isn't on any hormone replacement therapy.
I volunteer to be studied😉
Carnivore definitely helps and intermittent fasting to lose weight. I know I am one of those women😊
How much NAC? Thanks!
Me too. With crawl you can sprint as much you can.
Isn't there special ingredients involved in making kimchi?
I ferment vegetables.@@lcvb1624
Incredible! I'm impressed. You are surely motivating others here. Thanks for sharing. 👍
@tedchapple5991 wow, thanks for sharing your story! Best of health and happiness to you!❤❤
Yeah, blood thinners are one of the only things I could recommend to people with cardiovascular risk..
Thank you for including your advice for vegans too! Really appreciate it!
Short of a sauna, you can have a really hot shower to get the blood flowing and heart rate up.
Another great video, Dr. Sean! Added sauerkraut and was able to get around twice as much ribeye as usual. Thanks for talking to me the other afternoon 😊

I totally agree with the fermented vegetables and fruits !
NAC definitely helps energy and maintenance. Iodine too liquid 2% but try any type. 10mg is what i take
The idea that genetics determins what young people cal look like and lifestyle determines what old people look like is why I stopped going to the doctor in 1996.
Try walking backwards up a slope for your knees
another comment said try sprinting in a pool
maybe a therapy pool
plus water aerobics classes

This is the question that I have as well….. Did you ever get an answer?
Would be interesting to see these MRI’s for different occupations or athletes (Hockey Players who are sprinting vs Football Players, etc).
Thanks Dr Sean. I'm doing it!
I love your video's. I tore my meniscus last summer sprinting😢...I had just started raising the number of days per week😢. I haven't sprinted since. I didnt have the tear surgically repaired so diet and exploring these exercises you are talking about here. 🎉🎉
Oh no! How did it happen?
What dr sean advised me worked very well. He advised prolonged fasting to recovr the knees. Knees became 60% pain free within 24 hours
I love this guy❤❤❤ Thankyou for this!!
Hope there will be a research on comparison with sprint running and sprint swimming and sprint swimming without breathing (hypoxia)
Darn. What an excellent presentation. Just subbed. Thanks so much Doc.

I would like to know what the dementia/sauna study is. Please post it. My brother in law has early stages of dementia.
Yogurt can contain a lot of fat and carbs. That's what makes you fat, the microbes are irrelevant.
@@xnoreqfat doesn’t make you fat.
Yo6 can't overeat fat. It's lies from food corporations and the FDA to keep us fat and sick, bottom line to increase profits from both camps!!
@@xnoreqyeah, mixing fat with sugar is the real killer. It's the easiest one for the body to store, yes, though that's a good thing if you need subcutaneous fat on your bones for survival - alcohol and fructose getting covered to fat causes all sorts of carnage.

eat more meat for the most benefit! fatty ruminant meat is the best of all, but all meats and fish are good. but fat is extremely important as an energy source and to support your body's production of hormones, brain cells, and cell structures throughout the body!

Everyone, please consider reading"Toxic Superfoods"by Sally Norton so you understand the possibility of oxalate dumping as you heal on carnivore

Everyone is different but generally 3-6 fifteen second sprints every other day would be great It would be great to have the whole family sprinting 👊
What is the dose of NAC? And is it over the counter?
