I have yet to try clear coating the parts, but that method would work. I'm gonna try it out with the next part I make since it's going to be either exterior or in the engine bay

I added the link in the description the one I used is the 2x2 twill 3k carbon fiber
Just wet sand with like 800 grit final resin layer and shoot a clear coat
