Your right! New country and new any genre all sucks. Anything 1999+ is garbage
It was a beautiful time and I feel blessed to have lived through them.
There are some young folk's these days who are making some good tunes.
But nothing touches these Legends.
Thanks for sharing this video.
Peace be with all the Outlaws out there.
KEH
except kris was the only band member playing his fucking instrument that night. johnny had a capo and strummed either 1 chord or muted, willie barely touched it, waylon was strumming nonsense at the bridge. kris actually fucking played
ScappahNikolai I noticed that too! In every video from this concert!
@@adlap0152 post to my comment, i looked at more videos. ITS LIKE THIS AT EVERY FUCKING CONCERT. DID THEY FORGET OR SOMETHING
This is still the best version of this song.............Slow, simple and intimate.
If I had a time machine, I would love to have been at this concert.............It would definitely been something to remember for life.

RIP KRIS YOU LEFT A BEAUTIFUL LEGACY
I loved the way Chris showed respect to John. Very touching.
The nod when he passed the vocals to Johnny and the second one saying keep going.
These four incredible talents, performing in the same concert. The timelessness of this concert with these four talents is amazing. I am so grateful that we can be so favored with this concert on line. Thank you, thank you
You can feel the depression and sadness and loneliness of someone who has suffered or is suffering. I used to sit and cry listening to this as a child of toxic parents in the early 80's. Those are 4 Legends...wish I was born earlier!! God rest the Souls of the brilliant, but departed ones! 💪😇👌
I feel like you the sadness and loneliness in the song. I am always moved with tears coming up in my eyes
Amen to that
Your story is heartbreaking Silke! I pray you have survived and are living a more happy life now.Love
I'm sorry to hear of your sadness and depression ! You sound like a beautiful person!!! Seems like we all go thru hard, bad times! I hope you have recovered from those difficult times!! Be strong and happy.Love
This is my childhood story. My dad beating my mother on Sundays.
Thats a super-group. Fantastic. RIP Waylon, Johnny, Kris.
Das wohl beste Konzert aller Zeiten - schade, ich war nicht dabei...
I need a time machine
I Love The Highway Men 1991 Most Beautiful I Have Heard In Country Music!
This song, and so many of those the Highwaymen performed, are poetry. I listen to this stuff over and over, just can't help myself
this concert this whole performance needs to be in the smithsonian. This is one of those once in a lifetime concerts. I’m glad that the cameras were rolling. This is historic. And these 4 MEN were the very best
I saw The Highway Men in Reno Ca in 1995… it was one of the greatest shows I’ve seen… The greatest country legends all together! 💚💚
Hi 👋, how are you doing
Such a beautiful song, hits me deep every time, Johnny's version was my dads favourite and was played at his funeral, will never tire of hearing it, songs like this never die
My Dad had Johnny's version played at his funeral also, he loved the song so much, I'll never forget the amount of times we sung it together
This has to be the best version of this song I have heard, the musicians are excellent along with an excellent pair of writers and singers and as a recovering addict myself I appreciate every word. Thank you Mr cash and Mr kristofferson.
Brilliant, this song reminds me of me when i was younger ,(i'm now 69) dont think it could be sung better
“Wishing to the lord that I was stoned ....” at the time John sang it on national tv was a iconic moment... RIP Mr Cash
and Waylon.
Do they mean stoned as in high or stoned and in stoned to death?
@@danielcherry509 stoned as in high on marijuana
@Diana Love Why are you rude,
@The Scratcher stoned means high, it isnt used in place of drunk
RIP Johnny Cash (February 26, 1932 - September 12, 2003), aged 71
RIP Kris Kristofferson (June 22, 1936 - September 28, 2024), aged 88
RIP Waylon Jennings (June 15, 1937 - February 13, 2002), aged 64
You will be remembered as legends
Willie is the last leaf on the tree!
@@roberthunerberg1509 reefer must extend longevity...This was a bad ass group of singers/songwriters!
Me.. Kris will always be the first.
My heart broke when he passed. He was and will always be the best.
Too beautiful for words.
