Awesome man I’m doing a VK swap on my z32 to Nissan 300ZX But I have to deal with a few issues like the intake manifold and the oil pan it will have to be custom but it could be done the end product should be fun. How does it feel to drive a VK with a manual transmission
I have no idea and it was almost 4yrs ago. Prices and parts availability has changed since then. You can Google different peoples builds to get an idea.

When you added the spacer for the bellhousing adapter, did you have to move any motor mounts or trans mount to accommodate for the extra lenght?

I just realized the 5.6 has the damn starter in the valley. Guess they were inspired by northstar lol
It's not bad to replace. And if you go through water crossings a bunch it's one less electrical that's down low that could fry.

How was the manual swap? Did you have to change things under the dash or anything like that?
Tt was originally a manual. The outside harness was assembled by Driven Desire in Ohio.

Was that engine from an armada? What’s the transmission from?
Stock manual trans. Engine can come from any vehicle with the VK 56 like the Q56, Titan, Armada, or Pathfinder.
Did you have trouble registering the car or renewing?
Why would I? We do have emissions testing in my state.

Do you need to modify the drive shafts?
I would upgrade to a 1350 joint driveshaft. Stock won't be enough. Myself and others have broken 1310 shafts.
