Supertramp is a great English rock band formed in 1969. They had so many hit songs in the 70's-80's such as "Dreamer", "Goodbye Stranger", "Give A Little Bit", "Breakfast In America", "Rudy", "Take The Long Way Home", "School", "It's Raining Again", "Bloody Well Right", "My Kind Of Lady", "Cannonball", "I'm Beggin' You", "You Win, I Lose" etc.
One of my favorites was always Crime of the Century!
...even in the quietest moments, crime of the century...
When ever i watch these girls sample songs, i just know the elder male is a man of great taste and i so very much lived in the same groove. Thank you to the guy we never see :-)

Supertramp has one of the most Iconic album covers ever: Breakfast in America. As well as many classic songs
I was *One of ONLY Twelve* who showed up at their 1977 Memorial Arena(10K Seating), Victoria, BC, Canada - *Even In the Quietest Moments* Tour. Best Live Sound and Performance from *The Most Professional Band* They played their entire setlist, plus an encore of Six Unreleased Songs from *Breakfast in America* album for an audience of 12 that had paid $7.50 per ticket. Also, very rare that any band's Live Concert would match their Studio Recordings High Fidelity Quality Sound as theirs had.
Other Supertramp: Dreamer, Give A Little Bit, Goodbye Stranger, Take The Long Way Home, Bloody Well Right, Breakfast In America, It's Raining Again. Those were all big hits you might recognize. Peace from New Mexico 🎵🎤🌞✌️
You need to try the songs (School) and the song (bloody well right) I think you'll love both of these. Actually any song by Supertramp is amazing, PLEASE TRY THESE SOON!!!!
Ps you should do every song from their albums crime of the century & Breakfast in America. Also try the solo song by the lead singer (Roger Hodgson I Had A Dream (Sleeping with the Enemy)) you will LUV it looooooottttttsss

This song is about a child going to a tough school.
I saw them early '80s. Great show. Having seen Rush twice in that era as well, it really struck me how similar Rodger Hodgson's voice is to Geddy Lee. Progressive rock was awesome.

I've seen Supertramp all the time they came to town since the 1970s to 1990s. They are all such amazing musicians and very creative musically. Their concerts were amazing, they had such great sound system and they sounded close to their albums. They inspired me, as well as Yes and Led Zeppelin to learn piano and guitar.
If you like his voice, you may also like his songs, "Take the Long Way Home," "Give a Little Bit" and "It's Raining Again."

This is one of their most famous songs, but for my money, the best is "School", from the "Crime of the Century" album. Please consider listening/reacting to that!

Roger Hodgson does have a very distinctive, unique voice. So does Rick Davies, the other singer. And with the Wurlitzer piano, you know it's going to be a Supertramp song before the vocals come it.

Supertramp | The Logical Song ... That is co-founder Roger Hodson with the lead vocals. He is also the guitar player so they don't have guitar in this song. Co-founder Rick Davies is on key board behind him. Goodbye Stranger .. is a Rick Davies song and ...& In ..Bloody Well Right...he starts with a solo on keyboard and I much prefer the studio version.
