I might click it if you do more out of the cab videos. I want to get more of an idea what you doing by watching like I was standing there watching you, Chris!!
Just need to say Thank You. The frequency of your posts, the numerous camera angles, the narration and the many hours of editing just to give us some great content. I am not but would love to be an operator and your videos show and explain so much about the job. So, again, thank you.
Volvo and Letsdig18 does seem like a good relationship match at several levels. The bucket or attachment maker also was a good match. I found letsdig18 because I was searching for a demonstration of human skills, but I got hooked on the totality of the channel. The author's point of view is valuable to me.
When a project requires almost every piece of equipment in the fleet to complete is the reason equipment maintenance is so important! Just imagine if Chris had not maintained everything? Geez, don't even want to think about it! Great job! Let's keep hoping for dry weather for a few more days! 👍👏🥰🙏
That’s going to be a pretty place when it gets a good stand of grass. It’s a nice place for a home far away from the noise of traffic on the main road.
This will be a good one for drone before and after shots. It's going to show really nice by spring next year if they use a good hydroseeder to get grass in!
After binge watching the last 9 months of uploads, I appreciate the variety through it all. I've watched every video on the channel. I've tried other channels, but enjoy your content very much. I guess keeping the production value low is keeping me around 😂.
Chris You have building a wonderful Surroundings for the old Abandoned Farm. You make a Place to remain and the Nature to enjoy. Please make a6 Video in a half Year from this Place. You a Artistry. 👌
I suspect so much of this works depends on connections. No replacing experience and knowledge in getting it done. Watching this, just thinking Chris, how you do it all. Quite amazing.
Many elements in this video: takes hours of planning and revising as you go along. Looks so good. Stinky Compost is good for the soil and pasture growth just as that awful tasting medicine would make us better (so Mum said). Those meals look great too - very convenient.
Mr Chris, the transformation on this project is incredible. You have really turned that place around. I’m not sure how close Mr Pete with GCI turf is to this property but once your done, I know he could come in and make a lawn and really set the finishing touches on it. Great video and great job sir.
It's surprising how much compost improves soil quality, as Mr B found out. It's also surprising how much is needed. I get through about 5yd³ a year over 150yd² of vegetable & flower beds.
Alfalfa is a good soil buster. It will send roots down 3 feet in dry weather. And it is a legume. Has nitrogen nodules in the roots stored. Hay it 2 years and plow it under. Red clover is the same way. Helps build top soil.
In CA and AZ a bit of Alfalfa is grown, mostly for local markets, I imagine. Water is in short supply and a large component of the cost of the Alfalfa product. Public discourse in water management is overwhelmed by "story" eliminating the seeking of data.
The crushed concrete from old pig farm will making these roads look real dandy Chris the site going to look perfect it's very early morning 16th June farthers day catch up soon Chris
That’s a great start, but remember that good compost needs both carbon and nitrogen components. Tree chips etc (called the browns) are full of carbon. Grass clippings, vegetable scraps etc, (called the greens) are full of nitrogen. You need both plus water, oxygen, and time to make good compost. But you probably knew that…but for other would be composters, that’s the basics.
@@Bill_N_ATX good info. I get wood chips free too. I have equipment so I can turn the piles regularly, spreader them out in thin layers over dirt, then re-pile them after they’ve gotten saturated and broken down some more. I add pond dredgings and manure to the mix, let sit, turn occasionally, and in a couple of years I have great compost ready for the gardens or lawn .
That is beautiful compost. I did not realize this was part of the pond. road and trail project. Wow what a project that has been. When I was work in landscaping we used compost from a pig farm, that was bad. :) Thank you and have a great day.
What an awesome transformation this is, have been paying attention to the plans you start with at the beginning of your videos and watch as you work your plan and how in the end it all comes together to make it a finished product. Make the plan, work the plan, always a pleasure to watch you sir, thank you for the update, enjoyed it.
Helluva job Chris , bud you did a sh$t load of work, major progress, place is coming together, gonna be a beautiful lawn there, thanks for sharing 🇺🇲💪👍🤙✊
You so know how to move dirt efficiently. You are so much fun to watch, Chris. Thanks for sharing. Oh, and I love the Factor75 ads. You are so clever with them.
nice work again. seeing you spreading the compost out makes me miss my old job using a conveyor belt delivery truck i could paint that compost pretty darn good and have it 1-4 inches deep all over that yard, good times
Thanks for the explanation of not using the skid steer for spreading the compost. Kept thinking, "Why isn't he using the skid steer? He is really fast and accurate with that thing for spreading material. And when using the 'Time Lapse', you make damn short work of it! LOL
Chris makes things easy for the truckers he hires to haul for his so the folks with the nicest equiptment seem willing to work with him. Also if they are hauling out he loads them like their trucks are his. Carefully.
I just love these grading and road building videos, I could watch all day, I didn`t even know you could grade with a dozer. It looks fantastic, wait until it`s all tilled in, he is gonna grow grass no problem, thanks for taking us with you, be well friend.
Chris, I'm sure most of us wouldn't mind if you began doing sponsorships in your videos to make some very well deserved extra money because you are such a great operator and your videos of your work are truly awe inspiring❗️🙂
Really got it coming together now Chris !! Like the demo of everything but, the finish work is pretty awesome to watch, when it all starts coming together and looking Good !! You really work your magic when ya get on that finish dozer... lolol... Great as always Man !! Have Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!
Chris, it really looks good! I'd never dreamed it would look that good when you first started! The owner must be a very wealthy man to pay for all the work you have done on that farm.
Double dipping here, but the view at 38:46 finally revealed you did get the yard lower than the house. I guess due to how things look look on the screen my phone. Great job!
I Had Said Before That You Had Given The Customer A 10 Acre Backyard, But I Was Wrong. You Have Given Them A 10acre Yard, Plus A Place To Land Their Airplane!!! LOL Great Job, As Always Chris!! Happy Fathers Day Brother!! Later
Hey Chris, I was told you met my brother Bill Anderson. He works for Volvo in Reading Pa and formally from Asheville NC. He works in the sales department and had to teach Todd Huffman and Tony Deets on how to maintain and work on there equipment. Just wanted to give you a shoutout. Love you channel and been watching it for many years. Keep up the great work. Peace…
You could use a top soil screener, tow behind you truck, and yes,I would at least rent one,and time it right to try to do home top soil, cow manure,at your farm, house, cabin.I just think it'd be worth it

If that compost is burning your nose it has ammonia in it. It hasn't set long enough to complete the composting process. It will kill anything that is planted in it. Hope that fella leaves it sitting a good long while before he sows it..
When that first flag went under I was not paying full attention and wondered what kind of camera artifact caused that pink spot but then the next one was obvious and it made sense.
That big oak will unfortunately pass on to the big forest in the sky. It is nice to save them, but the landowner needs to be reasonable. Plant another.

@@jjMcCartan9686 Oops, my bad! Thanks! I've corrected my response.

So satisfying to watch the dirt curl from the grader blade
that compost was essential and I am impressed with your client's deep pockets this property has transformed into something awesome
That’s going to be a pretty place when it gets a good stand of grass. It’s a nice place for a home far away from the noise of traffic on the main road.
Talking about the aroma of that compost, farmers were spreading turkey litter just down the road a few weeks ago. That stuff is nasty.
This will be a good one for drone before and after shots. It's going to show really nice by spring next year if they use a good hydroseeder to get grass in!
Need more sponsorships for bigger toys 😍💯
That’s a lot to do just for one person. But you always seem to get it done . And done right .

I think when it comes to spreading and leveling material you do your best work with the skid steer!
The farm is starting to shape up nicely! What difference it made getting rid of those pines and getting some sunlight in on the house.

For all of the jobs Kenny Komatsu has done for you it was your best trip with Charlie to Pennsylvania to get it.
I started having tree trimmers dump shredded tree materials to make compost. 2 years to compost it... But free is a good price.

Gonna be one heck of a nice lawn, but a lot to mow. Well if you keep it up nice, the nope ropes seem to avoid it so that is good.
I like the camera view underneath the grader, I like watching the blade cutting the material! Watching the dirt rolling is cool looking!
