  • Barrister Helen Fields and TalkTV’s Alex Phillips break down the trial and sentencing of child serial killer Lucy Letby.
Ms Fields says ‘at the very least’ Lucy Letby is ‘sociopathic’.
Letby was sentenced to life in prison after the murder of seven babies and attempted murder of six more.
She also discusses other reasonings for ‘Angel of Death’ cases and says that Letby "cannot feel the same way as most of us out here."
She adds it is ‘impossible to get into the heads of these people' and that 'you can’t understand how their brain works.'

Now that she’s convicted, the public enquiry ought to focus on the corrupt NHS executives in the hospital and board who protected and apologised to her! All of this to the detriment of its patients and those who fund public services. They used HR rules and PC legislation to protect her, whilst damaging the very people these rules were apparently introduced to protect. This case speaks volumes to the issues with Britain currently. We live in a upside down society where the innocent are victimised and harmed and the evil among us are protected. Sickening

Absolutely - gross misconduct at the least. An enquiry needs to happen and those involved punished appropriately for ignoring the whistleblowers. Any concerns like this, should have been investigated at the time, not ignored or covered over - there are several people who’s heads should be rolling and who should never work in hospitals and management again - they clearly are not up to the job

Once the nurse left for a break, the baby was being fed 45cl, while she was away and Letby was there, it started crashing, it projectile vomited all over the room, the nurse then extracted the milk, there was still 45cl! This case has really shaken me up. The families of those tiny, helpless babies... We were in the same medical situation with our daughter (born at 25 weeks)
nearly 30 years ago. The trust you put in those nurses and doctors.... it's sacred. It's absolute. We'll never know her motive because she won't ever admit to her crimes. I feel for the parents of those babies, and I feel for her parents too. From everything I've read, they seem like they were loving, caring parents. Their lives are devastated as well and will carry the burden of this monstrous crime to their graves.

Sociopaths walk amongst us every day , we had one that ran a housing association. His wife divorced him for sexually assaulting children ( he never got convicted because his wife was a police officer) . He destroyed the housing association( £120,000 went missing and the authorities turned a blind eye) and many life’s with his actions . When he was questioned by one director , he left ( under ill health ) . Yet started as CEO with a health care company, he conned them out of £380,000 and his actions again cost lives and he still continues with other care providers to this day. All this started because he had a friend that give him a reference, she know all about his past and present . It’s like they can walk on water without any one being able to sink them . They have the ability to gather supporters and fool the mind blind , those around them are just as guilty for doing nothing cost these children their lives and their families are totally devastated for much longer than a lifetime.

Police should be praised on how they handle the case after nhs management covered it up by drs reporting her.
I think the further deaths of babies after drs had reported it should be in the courts themselves as they allowed lucy to carry on.

She felt she didn't deserve her parents; that's a very weird feeling to have. She also felt guilty that she didn't live close by to her parents. They weren't geriatric people in need of constant care, so why would she need to feel guilty? We're told her parents doted on her and were proud of her, but that's just the appearance on the surface.
