Prerequisites:
• Modded PlayStation 3 that is on Custom Firmware.
• Latest version of Rebug CFW
• Latest version of Rebug Toolbox If your going to FTP
• FileZilla FTP Client Or any other FTP Client -Optional*
• Multiman
• WinRar
• Any PS2 Game
• PS2 Save File that is in .PSV format That also corresponds with your game region
• USB Stick that is formatted to FAT32.

This tutorial was perfect! Literally was finding a tutorial on how to import kingdom hearts saves!
i don't think this works on hen ps3's (super slim atleast) because when i go to save data utility its "Corrupted" and when i do it on ps2 mem cards it can copy but then it doesnt show in game

My PS3 doesn’t recognize any ps2 internal memory cards. It creates its own VMU each game and that’s the issue
Audio cuts out at 8:41 and cuts back in at 10:18 FYI.
Do you know how to transfer PS2 saves straight from a FMCB(FreeMcboot) modded PS2 to a CFW modded PS3?
Ahh thank you I think the audio got cut due to like a copy right claim but thank you for telling me, I would assume where the save files are located in the PS2 directory then you can just copy and paste via with a USB then follow this steps from this video. I haven’t touched my soft modded PS2 but I can check it out later on
Nagato's Revenge I assume I have to get my standard PS2 saves(which are in the format folders with 4 or 5 files in them on the PS2 memory card) and transfer them into a .psv file which is a virtual memory card.
I know from the PS1 emulator on the PSP you had to create a PS1 emulator memory card on a PC(assuming you started playing your PS1 games on the PC through the emulator) with ePSXe and name the file that specific game's region ID, transfer the file to PSP(CFW) and then import to the PS1 virtual memory card from CWCheat menu while the game is running on PSP.
PS2 may be similar

if ur file is a max file download a program called PSV Exporter then import the max file then save as a PSV file www.ps2savetools.com/download/psv-exporter/

Hey bro I downloaded a save from gamefaqs in a sps file but I converted it to PSU , VM2 & all of that. It’s on the memory card Utilty but it’s not picking up the save at all. I got this & other PS2 games thru the package manager/PS3 system storage & install the pkg files. I’m on 4.86HEN on the super slim. Is their reason why it’s not reading the save?

On your flashdrive, make a folder named PS3. Make a folder within that folder named EXPORT, make a folder EXPORT folder named PSV. Just did that and it worked

i can't load the save-data in the game. i already transfered the save-data to virtual memory card and it's there. but when i load the save-data in the game it doesn't show up.

YOU NEED TO CONVERT THE SAVE DATA FILE (BY PSV EXPORTER) TO .PSV THEN PUT IT IN PS3/EXPORT/PSV IT WILL WORKS!!

download save builder and then save the save file as max and then download psv exporter and then you have the psv save file for the ps3
