This is what's so great about fashion: I'm into more service boot styles both in plain toe or cap toe. I love my Grant Stone boots. Thursday boots have some great options too and are affordable. Looking forward to part 2

I'm a photographer based in Vietnam, also with a UA-cam channel and I just wanted to say I dig your channel and it's given me a lot of ideas to start over for my wardrobe for when I'm on shoot and when I travel. As a bigger bellied 46 year old dude, besides the obvious advice of "lose weight" if you ever get a chance to do an episode about fits and outfit ideas for larger guys that would be incredible. Being tall and into fashion is a double edged sword: On the other hand, I can wear basically anything for my tops and bottoms, but for the life of me I can't find any shoes that fit me!
i'm on the shorter side but i also have trouble finding shoes that fit me cause my legs are wide
@@malamute4793 I can relate. It's like they don't even care about trying to accommodate different types of feet.
For me it’s pants. Get a proper fitting pair of pants being 6’4 and skinny is absolute madness!
@@Reinaldo_Dias You just have to look. I've found certain Uniqlo pieces fit me great, though most of them too short. Abercrombie has a great selection for taller folks. You can customise the inseam and waist separately, so no need to cinch them down with a belt.
Trying to find trousers in 31x34 can be a struggle too

It is great that your wife is into fashion as well. Mine is so not into it. But unlike me, she’s the type who can wear just about anything and can be stylish and look good in, I need to think through my wardrobe considerably more. 😅

Agree on the Solovairs. Got myself a pair of the 8 eye boot last January and am waiting for the temperatures to drop to a point where these don't look out of place. Pairing them with some fatigue or work pants always makes a good outfit.
After watching your videos about boots I wanted to buy solovair boots but in my country they are very expensive and hard to find. So I bought dr Martens 1460 instead and i love them! Thank you so much

Another option for a combat style boot that's hand made in the UK is Goral. Goral's Sharman boots in black leather are fantastic and I love the simple styling. They run about the same price as Oree's too...only downside is you usually have to wait for them to be made after placing an order.
I have a pair of the ORÉE NYC Infantry boots and they fit true to size. If you’re in between sizes go with the closest size down. I’m an 11-11.5 and I got them in a 11/44 and they fit perfect. They’re a bit snug if I’m wearing thick socks, but the leather on them is pebbled and the break in period was almost instant and they stretch a good bit too. They also have a removable insole if it’s too big for whatever reason.

@@HarryHas Ive had them for almost 3 years now. The quality is amazing and they’re actually super comfortable for boots. They were almost a daily wear for me in the winter and they’re still holding up. I even used them as snow boots because I didn’t have any
That leopard docmart really good there the print match the stich outside the shoes....and those metal shoes at the end definitely interesting to wear with all black 🎉
loved this Harry, the one from Our Legacy are so clean but they're so expensive 😭 I was thinking about buying the Solovair but they don't ship to my country the option is just not there 😭 for now I would keep wearing my Sneakers

I have a pair of the Oree combat boots and I would definitely recommend sizing down a half or full size

Honestly I'm digging the creepers. The leopard print isnt for me but the basket weave is a nice detail. I wasnt aware of the term before now haha.

I’ve got the smooth leather version of the Oree boots and I love them! TTS worked for me but I have very narrow feet so i have to lace em up pretty tight. Wish they offered half sizes. I used to throw an extra insole in and that worked as well. I get a lot of friction in the heel area and they’ve made me bleed once or twice, I used to think it was because of the zipper but there’s a flap of suede that covers it, so it’s probably bc of how narrow my feet are. but I’ve just worn them with silicone heel protectors and I’m set.
I like a very snug fit with my shoes and boots so it’s always tricky with sizing. I usually size down but sometimes I get unlucky and they rub after long periods of wear. Sometimes when I go tts I don’t like the way they crease when they have some wiggle room. I’m fussy! Haha

Deciding for a while between viron 1992 and solavair astronaut combat boots. My work involves standing around (barista) Will the viron hold up that day to day abuse or just go with solavair.

Since you're a big fan of the Solovair Derby Boots I'd like to know what's your opinion is on their Astronaut Boots. I still can't decide between these two. For me, the Astronaut still has this rugged flair while being not as "loud" as the Derby.
I bought both originally to try them out and although I love the Astronaut it didn’t suit me or my outfits as well as the derby so I kept the derby.

Be VERY careful with the Camions in winter or where it’s wet; they’re extremely slippery and like walking on ice since the sole is plain. Slipped so many times last year 😅

I’m not great to be honest. I just wear them. I do have leather cream and if the shoe needs some I’ll give it some but I just wear my stuff and not worry too much about it
Don’t shop from Oree. Ordered these boots and the $600 Stelvio derbies with 3 friends. We all got defected shoes, and customer service wouldn’t address our issues for many weeks, ignoring PayPal claims and all. Had to escalate all the way before we were able to get a refund. Also, if your shoes don’t fit, they do not offer exchanges or even credit. One of the worst companies I’ve ever shopped from, and I hardly ever leave poor reviews.
I’ve heard such mixed things about them and this is something I had heard from others, which also puts me off! I would never want to support a company that doesn’t look after the customer and this makes me even more hesitant to order from them.

I haven’t. I know a lot of these shoes aren’t going to look great when cut in half to Rose Anvil but I’m wearing them casually into town so I don’t need anything that can withstand a chainsaw or a hike up Mount Everest 😂

How would you style your derby boots?
What the hell is a 43 foot 😂?! I love the look of loafers but every time I try one on it looks orthopaedic. I am most into that first boot. Pity that the UK is the worst place to wear suede due to the crappy weather. On the plus side, it's boot weather.

I think you can wear anything at any age. The only reason things look like people are trying to dress ‘too old’ or ‘too young’ is usually because they are styling the item badly!
