We bought the Husky kit the same time you did during Christmas of 2019. Problem is, I put ours on a shelf in the garage and never used it until now. The Ratchet only lasted a day. The Ratchet end you can stop easily with your hand. The motor runs strong. Garbage.
I had to take mine back also because the head locked up. I bought the kit with the sockets also. All they had was the tool only. The warranty card tells you to take it back to home depot also. I had to show the lady the warranty booklet. I called Husky first to ensure that was the proper procedure.
Been using my husky ratchet for the past 3 years at least 4-5 day out of the week. I've got no issues.

Update:. Apex Tools who owns Husky sent me a new Ratchet!!!! WOW

I gave mine to my uncle after exchanging it I'm going to be upgrading to the Milwaukee..

Here's a pro tip for you if they pull that card, buy a new one walk outside switch it with the broke one, return it n get ur money back n bam your set

Same problem they don’t want to change it. Second one wouldn’t recommend it
