There are also a lot of people I’d love to include who I haven’t been able to reach out to, so I’m making one final public call out to anyone who has had any sort of involvement in Evangelion whatsoever (or knows someone who has). Whether your involvement was big or small, I want to hear your perspective, so please reach out to me if you’re interested.
As a huge fan of ADV's English dub, I can't wait to watch this. This is exactly the sort of BTS material I really wish had been included as a special feature on the Platinum DVD box set (or any of the subsequent releases).
Can’t wait. Loved this anime so much that it has been apart of my screen name rotation since 2007. Really hope you can do a physical release one day so I can put it in its rightful place with all my other Neon Genesis Evangelion DVD 📀’s & CD’s. Hopefully you get a chance to interview some of those people too since the audio is so important to Evangelion and its feel.
Oooo this seems really cool! I think a lot of people don’t appreciate how much work goes into bringing anime over to other countries, it will be an interesting look behind the scenes.
The "second ADV dub" is the Manga dub, which covered Death and Rebirth and End of Evangelion. There's also the Director's Cut dub of Episode 21-26 which redubbed a lot of the preexisting dialogue.

Very awesome!! Can’t wait to see the full video when it releases. Huge fan of the OG dub cast but am interested in all of the English dubbing!

Wait there were 2 dubs of the adv dub of the original series?
