- My animated Ode to Misato Katsuragi and all she had to put up with from Shinji (sorry Shinji) Eva was my first anime and wanted to make a little love letter to it, hopefully making light of a series that was anything but.

"Most *impactful* Dad" had me seeing angels.
The way Shinji smiles and then looks down at his feet is the most evangelion thing for me.
I found it wholesome when she gave him that cute little nose-boop instead of an "adult kiss".
But then I realised that little heart she left on his nose was a blood-smear.
As someone whose never watched Evangelion, this was very well done.
