Enjoyed this video but I just want to say that if you are experiencing some of these symptoms doesn’t mean it’s due to atherosclerosis. Like franks line for instance, I have those lines on both of my ears but so does my mother and she is well into her 70’s and hasn’t had any issues with her heart. She told me she’s had them as long as she can remember and also losing hair on your lower legs, ankles and toes could simply be friction alopecia from socks rubbing. Always get tested if you have concerns. But just wanted to put that out there. Keep up the good work doc!

I never really had much hair on my legs since I was a teen. I'm 46 and I have very little hair on my legs. I definitely pay attention to videos like this. Especially when it comes to my health. My hands and feet are always cold. It's been that way for a long time. I also learned that other things could have the same symptoms as well so sometimes when we see videos like this we get scared. It's always good to know these things but sometimes it's not always what you think it is. Thanks for the video. 🙏 for anybody going to tough times because we all do sometimes

Great information! Thank you! Except for the advice to go see my doctor. Whenever I do, my doctors all send in a nurse to do all the preliminary checks (blood pressure, weight, etc.) while the doctor is shopping for a new car over the internet. When I do see a doctor, he prods me, asks me questions, and then recommends another doctor. Then I get a bill for $800.

And whatever you do, DON’T tell a doctor that you’re in pain, because you’ll immediately be flagged as ‘med seeking’.

The medical care and hospital is horrendous most of the times. My very much loved husband of 65 1/2 years, my childhood friend, my first and only love just died of hospital and Rehabilitation Centers’ neglect.
He had COVID and was hospitalized on Nov.21/2021. He was not very sick but was diabètic and 88 years old, so he was hospitalized. That was the last time that my husband was normal, just COVID.
I got COVID at the same time, was hospitalized with pneumonia. Then was also transferred to the same Rehabilitation Center. I came out and I am Ok. I am 87 years old.
I am normal and alive; my husband fell originally at the hospital on Nov. 2021 while being treated for COVID. Actually, he fell twice and on both falls he hit his head. He was not examined, nor tested for internal injúries; we were not even notified. He recovered from COVID and was transferred to the same Rehabilitation Center where we shared the same room.
At once I noticed that my husband was showing signs of cognitive problems. He never had any. I had studied 1 1/2 years of Nursing when younger and recognized his symptoms. My daughter begged and begged the Head Nurse for a head MRI or Cat Scan for my husband, but was always denyed.
Eventually he had the test but the damage of the hematomas and the hemorrage in his brain had done so much damage that his body survived but he lived 1 year and 2 months in and out if the same hospitals and 3 Rehabilitation Centers.
He would have new complications, 911 would send him to the hospital, but he would pick there something new.
He was hospitalized about 6 time through the year. He got infected again with COVID at the Hospital, later infected again with the flu and pneumonia, later infected with UTI in 3 different occasions, and on the last time that he was hospitalized, he aspirated either water or particles of food. He came home weighting 122. lbs, using oxygen, in and out of conciousness, lost his voice, somewhat paralyzed on his left side ( leg, arm and hand ). They claimed that he had a stroke. He was having breathing problems even though he was receiving oxygen all the time.
The whole year was a nightmare. I cared lovingly for him, paying careful attention to all his needs. This last trip to the hospital, when I kissed him good-bye, I knew he was not coming back.
We have bills of much more than $1,000,000.00 and more coming. We have Medicare which pays 80% and we have a private health insurance from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey for which we pay a little over $12,000,00 a years. What for?
A year and a half ago, my husband was strong, lucid, working hard in the garden and enjoying it. He had been an honest, law-abiding citizen, hard worker, no drinking, no smoking, no swearing, no vulgar expressions, responsible, I could go on and on.
He had been my childhood friend forever, till we discovered that we were in love when he came back discharged from the Air Force.
He comes from males that have longevity into their 90’s and this was not meant to be.
Our country is deteriorating more and more and atrocious medical care is also growing.

RE "heart problems' there are indeed many many people suffering from clogged arteries and that is a problem for the heart. But there are also lots of people with a "different" heart problem that are not easily seen like the problems associated with obesity. Yes, I'm talking about arrythmias. I have some that are serious, A-fib and V-tac. I long ago learned the importance hydration and electrolytic minerals such as zinc, calcium and magnesium. I would appreciate seeing a video about such conditions, conditions that typically fly "under the radar" until someone needs to go to the Emergency room to be defibrillated.

    **Important Correction Notes*:
-Most sources I see show butter has roughly 0.5g per 14g (tablespoon), and margarine has 2.1g trans fat per 14g per tablespoon. In no way am I saying butter is horrible for you (in fact, I eat it regularly without issues). I link to what these studies are saying.
    - There are also new studies now debating whether HDL & LDL is good or bad (or is it just inflammation, as some studies claim); I definitely agree that no one has all the answers yet and am open to new opinions. Even if not technically true, there is a correlation between them (even if the mechanism is different than we believe.)

-Statins: I don't prescribe them as a lower extremity specialist. There is a negative consensus building up against them. Always check with your doctor to see what the proper medications are for you. 😀
    - Are fruits healthy? We could debate this forever, but in moderation, I believe these are an amazing source of nutrition and go over the undeniable benefits in my other videos (but in no way does not mean going crazy eating just fruit all day.)
-We really appreciate you, and thanks for watching!

Your body maked 3 grams of hdl cholesterol everyday for vit d, bile, hormone and cell production if you eat a gram of hdl cholesterol your body regulates it to keep it at 3 grams and it will recycle the rest, wrongly named veg oils that don't come from any veg cause obesity type 2 diabetes and inflamation from an overload of omega 6, and added linolaic acid can't leave the body and builds up in the mitracondia causing disease later in life...

#3 is incorrect, it's not a build up of cholesterol in the arteries it's a build up of calcium that was sent there to repair chronic inflammation in that area, the LDL is the car that transported it there. but it's a misconception that ldl cholesterol is the cause of this plaque build up.
This matters because lowering the cholesterol won't help but adding vitamin K2 will since it lowers blood calcium.
BTW, it's when this calcium deposit ruptures and forms a clot that people have a heart attack if the artery is 100% blocked.

BINGO. My cardiologist didn't even mention a stent. He said in the event there's a blockage, they'll use a balloon to open it back up, and that's it! That was after a stress test, where I was able to go 8 + minutes but had no chest pain but they said it showed some abnormalities (what? I don't know, they didn't tell me but acted like it was an emergency). I was given no options, just come back in 3 days later for an angiogram & during which time was told I had a 70 to 80% blockage was found but I refused the stent. The 3 days after the stress test gave me enough time to learn that I had options but these people never mentioned them. Unfortunately, I should have refused the angiogram but felt that I needed to have it just to know what was going on. Then my primary Dr told me that blocked arteries CANNOT be reversed. Another lie. And NO ONE mentioned that stents only last 6 months to 2 years-so what happens after that? People need to know.
I never knew that our hearts make new blood vessels to get blood where it needs to go when there's blockages. It's amazing! But we have to eat healthy and MOVE!! Getting good sleep is important and prevent & control STRESS. I struggle w/stress & I'm fighting every day to reverse this shit and I can tell I'm getting stronger. I mean how bad can it be if I can get on the treadmill and do an hour and have NO chest pain? I don't trust doctors-especially in the Fauci era-that guy has a terrible history using medicine to getting rich. You want to believe all he says then sure, go get your stents, take your blood pressure medications, your statins and don't forget your vaccines and just keep taking more medicines to fix the pain but not the illness. This whole thing is a joke. If you're not self educating then you're letting yourself be lied to. And btw Mike, you can still put yourself back together ever after having all those stents,, if you haven't already-start eating clean-stay away from processed foods, I'd say stop eating meats-look into the Ornish diet, there's Dr. Essylton on YT along with Dr Won.. Lots of information to get on the right track..! I personally need to find a doctor I can at least work with & trust so I can get blood tests and keep up on progress. I did get a blood test in May 2022-and all of my cholesterol was now all in the green. Triglycerides were low-everything was good! God bless!
PS wow. YT uses some kind of software that deletes comments after you've posted. I had to rewrite after the stuff I mentions about Fauci.. Can't trust NO BODY today..!! And who's really in control???

About turmeric and more. Fresh turmeric is much more potent than dried and powdered. I make a smoothie with about 1.5" of turmeric root (it looks like baby carrots), 1" piece of fresh ginger, 1 or 2 bananas, a handful of parsley including stems and half an organic lemon including the peel. The lemon needs to be organic if you are going to use the peel and lemon peel contains more beneficial nutrients than the juice.
This reduces inflammation very rapidly. I saw a hard red bump on my finger joint just shrink and disappear.
It rapidly makes a big difference in hair loss and increases hair grow almost instantly.
I got interested in turmeric after reading someone suggesting it could reverse hair loss in a month. People who culturally use lots of turmeric in their diet have gorgeous hair. So why not try it.
I started with powdered turmeric but frankly it's easier to take in a smoothie. Or have to swallow so many pills to get enough. Plus fresh is more potent.
It felt to me that combining turmeric with ginger has a synergistic effect but it's impossibility to discount the import of lemon and lemon peel bioflavonoids, parsley and banana. I getting organic banana too, it's often not more expensive than chemical sprayed banana and side by side organic tastes better. Parsley is rarely sprayed but if you can get organic, it should even taste better. Ginger I get organic too, its readily available, though I didn't make a taste comparison.
Adding a B vitamin complex helps for hair loss too but not nearly as much as turmeric and that smoothie is a game changer.
Apparently taking 5000 iu of vitamin D daily is another game changer. I just started yesterday and my sleep and rest have been noticeably better than anytime I can remember in just one night. Astonishingly.
I live in Canada, haha, and avoid the sun in the hottest hours because I burn so fast. So yes, those nutrients are so important yet almost no doctor takes them into consideration before suggesting medication. It seems common sense is getting sparse!

    • @Annie59G
      @Annie59G 24 дні тому

@A.Leftie I wondered too. Finally black pepper is needed with dry turmeric, but you don't need any when it is fresh. That's what I found in the literature and judging by the effects, I agree. It's so much more potent than dry. Price is decent too, it's about 4$ or USD$2.50 per pound in Montreal in Asian markets, probably less in the US. You get enough for a couple of months. Highly recommended!

First of all..many ( perhaps most) people who seek out topics like this do not have primary care physicians, cardiologists. Etc. Many have had such negative experiences with the Healthcare system that they steer clear of drs and try to self treat.
For liability reasons of course " see your dr" and " this is not a substitute for medical care" blurbs are necessary. But, TBH people who self care only go to the Dr when they cannot treat or are stumped in how to handle an issue.
I would not be reading anything on this site if my feet did not hurt. I am certain there is neuropathy as the top of my toes burn. I may also have a blockage as I have 1 leg that is much more prone to edema than the other.
I also have white coat syndrome. I do not fear dying, but if still alive, I want to be healthy. I seem to be pretty healthy and get lots of lab work but in the end, I self treat. My syndrome is not fear only, I loathe drs. Several people in my family are dead because of drs and both I and my family have has a lot of poor Dr care..so there is NO TRUST and no respect. In fact I have a lot of anger towards the profession and feel most of it is a scam.
Drs seem to be about light years behind every other scientific field in correlating nutrient chemistry with Physiological chemistry.
I am a scientist from the Pharmaceurical mfg industry and I have been left with rhe distinct impression that many drs haven't a clue at what they are doing.
I am actually not writing this to bash drs but to underline that a good % of anyone viewing this will not be going to any Dr no matter what you say.
We are not suicidal..we just feel we might live better lives without pills, and a symbiotic , too often relationship with drs.
Let's be honest, chronically ill patients and surgeries are key to most drs' and hospitals' longterm investment portfolio and over time many drs become inured to the tragedy/damage they cause..not to mention the mandate by many hospital groups for drs to pimp out most labwork, surgeries and treatment plans. Yeah, my hatred and distrust runs deep and trust drs worked hard to get me here ( my deceased husband was also a dr)
Thank you for your information..unfortunately many drs are so full of themselves rhey do not listen to any contribution their patients try to provide about their own condition. This is even more problematic if a patient is a minority because many drs choose to believe we are both slow, clueless and should just do as we are told.
I wrote all of this because I know a lot of people who share my outlook about drs and the Healthcare system and some of those people are drs and nurses. Go figure.

My husband died because of lack of medical knowhow from drs. They will suggest the easiest way to cure your illness but the truth is they only want to be paid in big cash. They are not interested in patient's wellness, that was what I figured out. When they feel patient no longer can afford to pay dr will leave you in the dark and let patient die anyway, patient is old and sickly.

I also have a question if you could answer it: I have a purple spot on the nailbeds of 6 of my fingers ( 3 each hand, big finger and the ones that follow). I exercise 6 times a week: 20 minutes of calisthenics, 40 minutes weight lifting and 15 minutes on the ellipitical bike. I feel that everytime I exercise the purple spot practically is more emphasized. I don't feel any pain, I don't have shortness of breath...what could be the cause of that ? In the past during the pandemic I had covid 2 times and I was at one point diagnosed with anxiety disorder...can this be a reason ? I also drank about 100 ml of beet root juice everyday...I don't know if this could be the cause...I am really curious on your oppinion as all the doctors that I have been to said that I should not worry about it...Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my question!

When I was in my early 30s my LDL was just barely over 200 this was the early 2000s. I worked for a doctor at that time and his partner determined I need to be on a statin. Within a week I was having the worst neck and muscle pain all over. The doctor who I actually worked for asked me what changed recently and I told him about the statin. He was pissed! He told me to stop it and throw it away. Since starting that medication I have continued suffering all over pain for no reason. I’ve been told it’s fibromyalgia despite not fitting the FM criteria. Increasing my fats, taking walks, not eating processed crap and almost no gluten ever, keeping my carb intake fairly low is helping but I fear it will never truly go away. I feel my best when I eat almost nothing but red meat, particularly steak but I can’t afford to do that all the time. I’m angry that I was put on a statin and I’m more angry that doctors are taught that statins are necessary. Clogged arteries are generally caused by processed foods and excessive sugar intake, along with things like smoking and excessive alcohol.

@falcorthewonderdog2758 Honey though natural is like fruit. Agave and other sweeteners and produces the same insulin response as sucrose, lactose, dextrose, and glucose , with the same detrimental trajectory.
People tout natural as if it is automatically safer and better. Foods including both natural and synthetic are actually just chemicals. Everything on the planet from your car to your body are made up of chemicals. They react to each other in complex ways.
We know thst a potato is perceived in the body as sugar, honey is perceived as sugar. As is high fructose corn syrup. Rice and a snickers bar.
The differences is rate of absorption BUT like all other sugars, honey is used for energy and the rest is stored..all sugars cause an insulin spike..all sugar is a poison. ALL of it.
It is also an integral part of most foods. Please be aware thst some of the most dangerous substances on the planet are all natural. Natural does NOT = safe or necessary. Anthrax, Amanita alkaloids, nicotine, ricin are all " natural" and from plants, all of those can kill you very quickly.
There is a certain synergy to what we digest. Honey does have certain benefits but the fact it is a sugar comprised of only 40% fructose, 30% glucose and the rest are other sugars and carbs.
Honey is not a superfood. No food is a superfood. That is a marketing term used to get people to hyperfocus on a certain item. It will be replaced over time ( as egg, milk, and soy have been) with long term studies debunking that status and the dangers associated with use. That is because no single food is a panacea. NONE.
Which is why a varied diet is best.
Foods are not ingredients for magic potions.

Periodic extended fasting and low carb, the abstinence from sugar and poor quality carbs. I had my mom do this diet and lifestyle with me as she was undergoing chemo/radiation on top of having stage IV heart failure. After several months her heart condition was changed to stage II. Extended fasting in particular allows your heart to run off of ketones/BDNF which the heart performs best on while fasting also gives your body the best chance to increase stem cells and HGH alongside autophagy where the body is attempting to repair any and all damage that it can. Yes, this can with proper diet over time show improvements in arterial blockages. I researched this stuff extensively to give my mom every fighting chance to manage her heart failure and cancer. Unfortunately she had triple negative breast cancer and was allergic to the only treatment that had mild success. All other treatment options basically only granted a few months more of life. So the cancer spread rapidly, she was only in hospice care for 3 days! Nonetheless, the results this lifestyle had for her heart had verifiably great results. I had my grandma start this a few months ago as well and she too is catching her breath more easily and not sweating as much, so far. I'd take that is some positive indicators. Good luck to you!

Supposedly it's possible through a long term lifestyle of no sugar and no low quality carbs in tandem with intermittent fasting and mire importantly periods of extended fasting of 5+ days, every 3 weeks or so, nothing too crazy. My mother had stage IV heart failure and some partial blockages and before she passed of aggressive genetic breast cancer, she was officially downgraded to stage II heart failure! When fasting, the body prioritizes autophagy which is the body cleaning and repairing damage throughout the body. But during extended fasts, a person will also have an increase of HGH and stem cells as well. Plus, when running on ketone, some of it is converted to BDNF and the heart prefers to run on that as a fuel source. Long story short, unless a person has T1 diabetes or an eating disorder, it's absolutely worth looking into this! Dr. Jason Fung is a great source to look into to start. If you really want a lot of science being shared in an easy format, Thomas DeLauer and if you want to look into the carnivore side of low carb/no sugar, Dr. Ken Berry.

I can never tell if I’m dealing with nerve issues or something like. Left calf and ankle always has a band type feeling of numbness. Both forearms occasionally go numb and my face has been numb for 2 months. Also get a burning, although minor, sensation. Went to er for ct brain and an ekg. Nothing. Went to neurology and had blood work and about to have brain/neck mri. I think what’s beyond stressful is not knowing and they don’t even know sometimes. Makes me go online and research like crazy and sometimes I get more lost. Been very tired and depressed too. Only time I had numbness was when I was on antibiotics over the spring. Idk if those could have done something and it took time to brew.
