That stuff does work pretty good. I've used it on a few felt hats. HOWEVER, One word of warning: Use care if/when spraying the underside of the brim (ashe did in this video). DO NOT get the spray on the hatband (particularly if it's a leather band) as it will make the band VERY sticky, and it cannot be cleaned off! The leather band will be PERMANENTLY sticky! Don't ask me how I discovered this. LOL! Otherwise, a great product when properly applied.

What kind of waterproofer would you suggest for straight up wool felt hats I have a can of Kiwi Camp Dry And among the list of items they say it can can be used for they mention hunting apparel So... CLOTHING what are your thoughts????
I’ve used Scotch guard and Kiwi Camp dry on my wool hats. Depending on the colour of the felt (mine are dark grey), be careful not to over spray or it may leave a light stain mark when it dries. Test it on the underside of the brim before committing to the rest of the hat.

I like that 3 1/2-inch brim. Sadly, they are virtually extinct. They were very popular in the 1960s.

I have two types of hats, work hats and dress hats, and boy do I really test my work hats and felt if it's good quality will stand up to it

Just use Aqua Net hair spray. It works the same and costs far less.

I cover the inside of my hat I don’t want the chemicals seeping into my pores
Does that work for sweat stains?
I don’t think since the sweat comes from the inside ..
Make a video how to clean botines
