I didn't see you mention anything about 4k. If you are using a regular HDMI hookup that may be the source of the problem. My Ripsaw Just randomly stopped working on my PC. Unkown USB when the Output is in the ripsaw. It works in OBS if you only have input in
My El Gato HD60s+ just shows a black screen ive done everything and nothing. Sometimes it works and now it just displays a black screen even tho it says its displaying it on there.
Maybe check your cables and try different ones just to rule that out?
@@MurrayFrost already did that and nothing
Hmmm, maybe you need to contact Elgato support. There is nothing much I can do at this point. Sorry man. We also have a great support team in Discord that someone might be able to think of something.
ok it goes black screen w audio then colored lines w/o audio again and again
i got a usd capture device, recently my computer updated, and now my computer only sees it as an audio source (like a mic)
do you have any video (or idea) of what's going on and how to fix it?
Make sure you try new cables as they could be broken
@@MurrayFrost I have but I could try again
Same problem since hours
Tried everything
Fuck obs
ive got a usb c to hdmi capture card, does that still work?
You should have an hdmi in the capture card otherwise it won’t work. The usb is meant for the stream pc so you can convert the hdmi signal into a readable format for your stream software can use it
i can’t find your stream playlist.
What stream playlist
@@MurrayFrost I MEAN , STREAMING SETUP
PLAYLIST
All other consoles work except my switch. It worked before. I'm convinced Nintendo is trying to block streaming via switch software at this point.
After turning on the PC with capture card plugged in, the system is still not recognizing the device
After turning on the PC and plugging in the capture card later, the system recognizes it as Cypress FX3 but RECentral 4 is still not recognizing the capture card
My capture card is LIVE GAMER EXTREME 2 by the way, Help me!
my capture cards display works but it makes a clicking noise
my issue is that my cam link is picking up my game and not the camera. So instead of showing me, it's showing the game I'm playing. I don't know how to fix that. :/
for me it recognises the device but no signal
I tried all of these and still my capture card (generic one) isn't showing video. It was working till yesterday and today it's not showing any video from my camera.
if it's a console you are using, check my new video on console streaming.
My capture card was working perfectly fine, i moved apartments and am trying to stream. And I'm having 0 luck. I've tried everything nothing is working.
I did factory reset it before i moved.
Everything Is plugged into the way it should be
But, when i launch 4k, OBS or stream labs it's not detected..! I've uninstalled and reinstalled all programs as well. This is stupid. I hate technology yo.
I'm trying to stream from my Xbox series s to twitch. And i know something is wrong because when i turn on and off my PC my Xbox doesn't do the signal switch where the tv goes black for a second. Or when launching SLOBS. It just sits there stupidly blank and does nothing even all the colors on the elgato flash white. What am I missing???
thank you so much and absolut life saver i couldtn get my capture card to work but now it does
if following all of the steps in the video and your capture video device is still not there try checking the camera privacy settings and allow/on streamlabs or obs it works for me hope these will help you guys :)
What privacy settings I dont know where it is
@@Elite_45 it's a settings from yout PC
Select Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera
@@exhibeatsTenacity OK it's already on and nothing changed it's still a black screen

Sadly nothing worked for me so now I might have to buy a new one

THANK YOU I HAD IT PLUGGED IN TO A 2.0
My capture card unplugged by accident, and now my Laptop will not detect it. it happened when i first got it, but idk how i fixed it.
Thanks all i need to do was plug it into a 3.0 usb port and not a 2.0 port.
I did all this and still don’t work n I bought another one still same thing
1 question about solution 1: what if my capture card is usb 2.0?
fifth solution helped me out thanks
My tv isnt picking up on the game but obs is picking it up fine. What do I do?
Same, did you figure out a solution?
My capture card is only showing as audio, is there a fix for this?
If you have anything older than the HD60s, then it could be the capture card. I would recommend the Elgato HD60s+ or a later model. amzn.to/3PFFJ0p
I'm having the opposite issue only have video, and the mixer shows somthing, but no audio feed
I have tried almost of these and nothing is working for me :/ I am ready to cry because I spent a lot of money on the capture card and the only usefulness so far is that its a nice expensive Tchotchke.
My new loop recorder record but audio doesnt enter and output doesnt work..has anyone same problema?
Thanks, good job.
Thank you!
ty totally saved my day :)
i cant even create a source for my streaming software because it wont recognize capture device

Can anyone help me with this? i tried with 2 same model iphone 12. One of them is able to display it in the game capture software and other one which is my own phone could not . have tried to reinstall drivers etc many times but still doesn't work. i am thinking it might be smth in my iphone settings tho
Everything works its just my monitor wont show my xbox scree
ok so, mine was literally just working while i was playing super mario world on the SNES and the screen blinked out into blue right in front of me, now it won’t bring the picture back and remains blue but the sound is still there and registered all the buttons i pushed cos i heard my little mario die 😢😂…
i’ve turned everything off and unplugged every thing reattached it all but when i turn it on it’s still a blue, the laptop is registering the same blue screen in OBS but my tv seems to be the issue maybe, the blue screen has AV/PAL pop up in the top right corner every few seconds but that’s it, the sound is still coming through but that’s it…
i even deleted my video source in OBS, shut down the laptop and started a whole new one but it still just has the blue screen with sound, any advice would be awesome if anyone has ideas 👍🏻
