No shocker. Super low, well below sealevel density altitude and cold air are like adding 50 free hp alone. This car would be lucky to run under 11's in 70 degree temps. They are heat soakers.

Sticky tires! You can hear how sticky! This must be the most affordable 9 second car in the world. Factory 4 door, 5 seater. Throw on a pulley ,tune and drag slicks!
+Nukes Away and that is simply amazing from Dodge. The other 9 second cars from the factory are gonna cost well into the 7 figure range.
It's got more than a pulley upgrade. Try a blower upgrade. $3700, and gears, as its shifting way to soon in the first few gears. This is at least $5000 worth of upgrades. Takes 180-200 hp more to add 16-20 mph to the trap speeds. That's way more than any pulley-only. About 110-120 hp more than pulley alone. Plus, she needs roll bars according to NHRA rules.

Finally!!!! Confirms my thoughts that a hellcat can run into the 9's blower only. The challenger needs a 150 shot to hit the same time which I always thought was odd. Nothing like a 4600lb sedan that would run the 1/4mile faster then a 918 lol

There are 2 Challengers running 9s without nitrous.
Challenger will run same times with same setup. With a small shot, it's quicker than 9.7. Tough to find a track, rental or not, that will allow an 8 run without a cage.

Hellcat did the 9.9 with drag radials. He wouldn't be able to do that with street tires at all.
Tires are the most important factor! How else are you gonna get the power down?
+Nick Benrhardt Yeah but for you to run that, you need pulleys, exhaust, slicks and a big lady behind the wheel. With the 918 you can take it straight to the strip after picking it up from the dealership, do a 9 second run 100% stock then drive over to a real race track and dance circles around a hellcat, then sell your 918 after 5-6k miles on it for 100k more than you paid for it. In addition, we can not forget about the panty dropping factor, with no effort you can collect about 3 Victoria Secret panties just by showing up in the 918. With the Hellcat you might be lucky to collect 1 Walmart panty, even though the car seats 4-5ppl, and that will probably require a burnout at the very least. I know were talking about a million dollar car but you did bring it up so... 918>Hellcat.

So my question is which one is faster the charger or challenger??? To me i think the charger is lighter than the challenger but idk. I know the charger tops out more than the challenger at 204 or 207mph.

top speed the charger it's faster, in the track the Challenger. top cat (husband of the one racing this charger) has a faster Challenger.
The charger is actually heavier... The challenger tops out at 199 and Charger at 201.....

The Hellcat Charger is both quicker and faster than the Hellcat Challenger .
A competent driver in virtually any of the newer V8 Chargers will have little trouble dispensing with lesser vehicles, particularly the fanboy faves.

Right, with a machined block and heads, 70mm turbo, new intercooler, bigger injectors, and fuel system. This car has two aftermarket pulleys and about 3 hours of wrenching.

Not impressed at all with this and I don't give shit who's driving it..all it takes is a checkbook..hell any old granny could do the same thing..no skill required..getting a TB into the 9's in 1993/94 took skill and understanding of making it all work together.

It's a factory 4-door car that can be made into a 9 second car with a few simple hand tools, a few hours time and laptop. That is something a GN or TBSS never was, nor will ever be. Never understood the fight some bozos put up because a car they normally wouldn't like is fast. Butthurt is a great term for this conversation.

Remember ppl, hellcats come with AT LEAST 707hp... Meaning the slightest(meaningful) tune could unleash some crazy power in these cars... Another 2 realize is that these are your everyday drive cars, dodge wouldn't have u slightly tapping the gas & hitting 80mph at every stop sign lol... They gave us AT LEAST 707 to play with but left a lot of great potential for us to unlock at our convenience lol...

With new production full bodied cars those rules don't apply. I was happy because I didn't want to have to weld a roll bar into my new VW to go to the strip.
+Meat Amigo The 9.99/135mph rule only applies to stock cars but the stock part isn't enforced too heavily. This is a track rental so there are typically no rules enforced at those.
Thats what big boost and traction can do in a heavy car even with skinny wheels... slicks and drag lites of course. Street trim is where its at. All these cars now need 1/2 mile DR.. not hard burnout and auto trans... Mom in her 50's!! pfffff....

Similar to low trap speed is caused by engines with more low end torque, or cars that go 0-100 really fast and then accelerate there at a slower rate than the initial launch. If you want to try again you could come back with something better than "troll," otherwise I am classifying your comment as invalid.
