Actually, at the time, I had no idea how to use a greatrune.
This is Adi btw, the creator of the gloriously cursed Radahn fanboy build
you're the best Adi
Gng W character to fanboy over
Ah but that my tarnished is totally relatable ahhaaha
tell me about it in my first and probably only playthrough i did not know there was a flask of "wondorous physick" and did not use it until i saw it in a wiki 300 hours into the game at around level 90-110 .... also pouches... lol i did not use it until last 20-30 hours in my first playthrough (first playthrough was 400 hours... all item farm ... mega medium role prelate armor full set and lion claw heavy giant crusher insta stagger build with low aka 30 -35 vigor maybe haha (got my ass kicked in malenia though) and used a trainer ... i relied on ultimate rng and multiple panic rolls and spamming lions claw
A radahn cosplay build with ZERO gravity spells is crazy
I originally wanted to put more grav spells in, but I just… forgot I guess. That and I didn’t know where to find many
bro i totaly identify with teh radahn guy... he kept it simple ... just remmeber he is doing 2k damage per jump heavy without buff and his weapon ash doing equal or more dmg ... and his armor is top 5 maybe in defense... so he can bruteforce through most of game with enough attempts... his brain is like a supercomputer when elden ring creators might be using even 100 digit password eventually bruteforce and time will eventually crack it. not the most delicate build but it will work.
@@userxyz783 that was how I made it through most of the game. It’s like a glass cannon and each death I’m slowly adapting until I eventually win
He's just like me fr fr.
That was my first build and it's kind of a monster. I defeated Godskin Duo in my third attempt, I know Radahn didn't use a small wooden shield with Thops' Barrier, but I bet he would've if he was 5"7 (170 cm) tall. The fact that you have two swords let's you use consecutive attack talismans and crystal tear buffs to great effect, and you can use guard counters to boot. If you buff your magic damage, equip 7 blue flasks, and spam Starcaller Cry you can keep ragdolling Malenia, obtaining an easy playstyle. Lion Greatbow melts anything that's a dragon or a giant beast, and it let's you snipe the snipers. I had more than 50 END, used Great-Jar's Arsenal, and Erdtree's Favor +2, thus I could light roll in light armor, or be a high damage reduction maniac.
The kevins
Everyone chatting about the first build but no one gonna acknowledge how the second one has a staff equipped at all times but they “don’t cast spells”.
Diablo 3 mage build, but backwards
(They gain MAG DAMAGE POINTS for all the dmg sword behind theyr back has. Yeah, they fucking stack phys attack and mag attack)
Hmm.
Do staff boosts apply to ashes of war?
I don't think they do but I could be wrong?
@@aprinnyonbreak1290 A staff exists for one reason: to scale the damage of sorceries
@mediumvillain
I mean as far as their trait, not their base scaling. Like, how just holding the Gravelstone seal will buff your lightning incantations, even if you actually cast them through the Godslayer's Seal.
Like, I'm ALMOST certain that the Gelnir staff only applies to magma sorceries, and not things like Magma Wyrm Breath, or the candlestick.
But then there are weird use class outliers, like the Perfumer talisman buffing Perfume Bottle weapons, not just consumable perfumes.
@@aprinnyonbreak1290 Oh, afaik no, ashes of war and sorceries or incantations are completely separate. You can off-hand a staff to get its magic type boost to spells cast with the other hand, but staff/seal boosts dont apply to ashes of war. Skill/AoW damage scales off of the stat of their affinity (usually just the base affinity unless they changed that), staff/seal scales sorcery/incant damage & the ones that enhance a particular type add a % damage to that type of spell. The ash/skill versions of sorceries & incantations often work different mechanically, sometimes they're already more powerful or with better scaling, they're a whole separate thing.
Credit where it's due, having the raw meat dumplings on the item bar allows mimic to use them infinitely. Mimic is also immune to poison so there's no drawback.

"I don't know if you want to use spells because they're cheesy..."
My brother in christ he is already using the Moonveil, we are past what's considered cheese-
@jayalriik7421 moonveil was never allat cheesy bro
@dasilent15 found the moonveil user
@dasilent15Specifically moonveil, where people just press l2 and r2 infinitely until something happens, even in pvp and especially spamming it against people who are dodging it. THAT is attempting to cheese by abusing a really fast, high damage weapon art that can be used many times over, and is objectively boring even if someone finds it fun.
Wearing good armor and using any weapon for the ACTUAL weapon is of course not cheesing. Using it for the weapon art like hoarfrost axe, moonveil, rivers of blood, fallingstar beast jaw, etc... is, though beast jaw does actually get used as a weapon because it has an abnormally high range stat
@@ghoulishgoober3122What I got out of this was you hate other people for using a weapon you don't like. Get better or just play offline. The community is not gonna play the way you want them to. Time to realise that.

Knowing the pouch exists and not having the steed whistle there is insane to me
Or Physick. Or the motherfucking lantern.
Agreed, I have everything in the pouch except healing/mana flasks. I don't wanna have to scroll through it mid-combat.
@@yurifairy2969 omg I thought I was the only one with all three of those in there
@noodles8920 The whistle and the physick flask are just about the only things I keep on my regular hot bar consistently. I put my crimson flask on my up pouch, my cerulean flask on my bottom pouch, and whatever throwables I want on the left and right pouches. I then put my lantern and spirit ashes on the 5th and 6th pouches that you have to open the pause menu to access.
Was literally going to comment this
Pureblood knight's medal on the item bar is a borderline felony.
Fr for me it’s like a one and done use because I can tp there using the grace 😂
Idk if they have patched this since, but you can actually use the knight medal to get out of any situation. Even if you are normally not allowed to teleport due to being in a dungeon or boss fight.

Bro for future reference you messed up the first build he was level 100 but because he had the sorseal he had more stats in the picture so when you matched his stats you added even more with your sorseal you should subtract the sorseals stats from picture builds
I was wondering why he was a full 25 levels higher than the pictures
so the build is actually even worse than it looks, incredible honestly
you have struck gold here m8

The dlc gave us the lightning perfumer bottles, which might mutate into a similar state after they get tuned down in the next patch.
@dasilent15seamless co op mod would like to have a word with you, and the pvp stuff that has been a staple
I'd change the magic tear in the first build to the thorny cracked tear since the jump attack hits twice and it boosts all the damage, not just the magic part.
I loved how you said "omg, this is so lore accurate"
Reading through the builds on the submission page dang near gave me a brain aneurysm. Lvl 250 builds with 40 vigor. Pure strength builds with flame art infused weapons as opposed to fire which scales with strength. People using a hodge podge mish mash of everything meta but not knowing why those or how those things work. Its insane man i could sit there all day and optimize the heck out of those builds.

2:36 The mimic tear can use the raw meat to cure, and it doesn't get poisoned.
Can use most consumables at will. Can really just win alone if you get the right ones.
honestly I cant imagine a build without putting all the flasks in the pouch. I struggled through my entire first playthrough scrolling just a little too far through my items, chugging a blue when I wanted to chug a red, and dying. and then I found the pouch and all my worries vanished.
Yo i'm just finding out about the Pouch and had the same problem gotta try this
If you hold "down" on the d-pad, it goes to the first item in your item bar. That'll make sure you always go to the red flask
I am convinced that there is mostly bots in this community 4/4 builds were the most basic boring op builds not a single unique
They are people, just with the mentality of a comformist cog. As long as they have fun.
Bro really pulled out the classic "ugh my controller"
On the first build it looks like the raw meat dumplings were for when summoning the mimic tear, as it heals 1/2 the health and inflicts poison, and the mimic tear cannot get status effects.
As I like buildcrafting I made another version to the Radahn build:
Stats: 60/10/26/62/14/15/9/7 (Vagabond)
Talismans: Great Jar's Arsenal, Erdtree Favor+2, Crimson Amber Medallion+2, Claw Talisman
Radahn's Armor, Radahn's Greatsword, hardswap the Commander's Standard
Great Rune and Physick to choice.
This gives another 25% increase in health while not dropping AR too much. Endurance is a lot lower, maybe eat a pickled turtle neck to compensate.
Most imortant would be to learn quick menuing to swap between weapons. I'd recommend to either clear out your inventory or use the "Order of Aquisition" inventory sorting to put both of them next to each other.
I like your idea. Not sure if i would be able to get vigor and strength that high while trying to keep endurance up, but I like the idea. I moved around the radahn build and ended up making it in a way where I’m able to use all damage increasing talismans and have high vigor and endurance
Just don’t do a radahn build, his swords are just too hard to get off, I found that shit out trying to beat Maliketh
WHY would you not use the great jar arsenal on the first build?!?! No reason not to...it weighs the same and gives more headroom in case they want to use like takers cameo for awhile around enemies
Blud is a bit tilted 🙂↕️✋
Okay, I was wondering the same thing. I thought I might be missing something.
Because hes a bit nuts, he puts on erdtrees favour on a erdtrees favour +2, from the literal last area of the game on an account thats level 100, doable but judging by the build not likely, but doesnt pit great jars arsenal, which is probably just about the right level for him to get.
From the perspective of a friend of mine: the Greatjars arsenal is hard to get for some people, because you need to win 3 duels in a row, while the arsenal charm +1 just sits in a cave, ready for the taking.
Seeing the first build has me scared about mine now
Edit: went back to my build and redid it a bit
The more I think about it.. this is a lore accurate radahn build
Telescope to see the stars, meat.. well.. to eat. And the incantations make sense as radahn (as attributes, not as incantations). It all makes sense tbh.

The fat rolls actually saved you a couple times because you were so slow getting up lmao. I also feel like Radahns swords are made for Malenia and are kind of lure accurate
The claw talisman for Radahn makes sense, he has the best jumping attack in the game
1- thats heal (for revenants prob.)
2-19 mind is a sweet spot, put it on vig, every drop of health helps.
3- clearing up the inventory to leave only 2 weapons there and only equipping the commanders standard before the fight to buff and unequiping it is better and can leave more stats off of endurance and towards vig
4-just use the great jars arsenal, not even hard to aquire
5-there is a multiplayer segment in the settings on the bottom, instead of struggling in inventory or putting it in a quick slot you can use there.
No way this dude recommended the +5 strength talisman. Was about to sub until I saw that
@@stu.chainz give your alternative instead of yapping
the second build probably rely on the summon to dish out spells in your stead, so the optimisations are probably meant for the mimc tear to do a lot of damage and carry the player.
2:38 Mimic Tear can heal with it without being poisoned
that jump attack isn't the strongest move on the starscourge greatsword, you completely ignored its ash of war
For the Radhan cosplay you could use the stance breaking tear since those two great swords can break stances easily you can skip the highlander axe and the roar medallion
on the first build, the raw meat dumpling is for the mimic, so he can heal himself, and probably he isnt fat rolling, he might be using godrick's great rune and that might be enough so he wont fat roll
I've really been liking the bloodborne builds in elden ring lately with the great rune that rallies HP back and the arcane bleed setup with other occult weapons.. Maybe quality boss weapons.. I have been using bandit curve swords for the blades of mercy and the scythe for the burial blade. Giza wheel for whirlygig saw.. A few other things just to spice it up.. cannon bows bestial sling for a gun or avlyn crossbow with sleep bolts for the "parry" then you got things like dragon claw and greyroll's roar for beast claws transform heavies and beast roar.
Talismans that boost damage and hp with successive attacks cameo talisman and blood damage boost
I was wearing ronin or black knight with travelers and either perfumer hat or old aristocrat hat with leather set but you pick whatever.. more poise would be better.. I think I used the poise and infinite fp mixed potion for bosses and pve but I used hp regen and stamina regen.. then upgraded to tears of denial later
BHS on the curve sword for hunters bone and fire and lighting grease for anything that isn't bleed infused..
Depends if you go the arcane route or not cause low level it's hard to pull this off I think.
Stats are tough.. I think either arcane faith and strength focus or arcane faith and dex focus on a high level build and you might have to sacrifice either faith or arcane for a 120 build but I'm curious what people come up with.
I'm gonna use this build in the DLC soon
In first build you forgot the most important thing, the tear :D
This is interesting I'll probably post my build sometime just to see if I did good or not
I can Imagine that the Commanders Standard was there to symbolize the stuff thats stuck on Radahns back in the battle
I enjoy the horse, crimson and cerulean in my dpad slots, and have finite items plus the one use physick in my square items slot, this way you don't have to scroll for your horse, health and mana flasks, and everything else isn't *quite* as time-sensitive or sees as frequent use so you're free to scroll to them at your own pace.
Bro made a horrible build, asked to leave the lands between
Raw meat dumpling in your quick select is good because your mimic will use it without getting poisoned
This man has to spend a business day to get back to his healing flask
Clara, how you gon mess up this man's scheme
How did you see heal and think "Lord's divine fortification"???
level 100 and 35 vigor? Nah, bro's fumbling indeed, unless you're doing a no hit challenge run with ritual sword talisman and the like, always level vigor to 40 as your first stat (after getting the stat requirements for your main weapons)
I didn't get to 40 vigor until mountain top my first run, on a strength/dex/faith hybrid build I had enough tools for close range and midrange+healing/buffoptions it were never needed. Wasn't until fire giant, melania and that stuff that I pushed it to I think 43.
A mate of mine beated the game not even breaking 40 vigor instead he used great bow as main weapon with rain of arrow, or was it rahdans bow and tactically nuked bosses from orbit outside their attack range...didn't even get hit
@@Solus749 Pointless bragging on your part, I beat the game lv1 with a hammer and no mid/long range options, that’s not the point, getting one shotted every time, will sour the experience of first time players (who don’t necessarily have in their builds mid or long range options like you or your friend), combined with the fact that at the start, you’ll have low returns for every stats except vigor due to how scaling works, it’s the reason why early vigor investment is the most optimal choice.
@@EldenRingBuildsArchive nope early investment should be to give them OPTIONS rather than speed to 40 vigor.
It is better to do more damage and need less hits than survive for longer and tickle. Devs allready fixed the get hit issue with ashes for those that want them
Don't mean you should ignore vigor entirely but you need other stats too
@@Solus749 Again, you have no idea what you’re talking about, as I said earlier, investing in offensive stats in early game, has very low returns due to how scaling works here, so you are not creating new options in doing this. It is not hard to grasp, and you should definitely check the mathematical formulas behind AR before going confrontational on comments
@@EldenRingBuildsArchive It opens NEW weapons ever so often gives DEFENCIVE stats as well. Ofc you don't go into every stats but actually upgrading offencive stats along side defencive stats rather that stick to minimum stats and upgrade health will help new players more.
