As someone with 95% of all tech owned being over 30 years old, aint no way im veing spyed on lol. Wish blackberry would bring back their og os though. Would be nice to access the internet when away from the PC whilst not needing to use a smartphone
you may be able to find it in places like the lunar project community discord which is a blackberry archiving project, other then that theres so few blackberry users left im not sure, i wish you luck!

if you live in the US T-Mobile still has 2G! You can use it on mint and ultra or other T-Mobile based carriers not the actual T-Mobile carrier hope this helps!

Depends on the SIM, i tested a 5g sim card in my second newest video and it worked (picked up 2g) although i think some new new SIM cards are no longer compatible.

And yes, I used the Blackberry version found at the provide link above. moved it over to my SD card (and inserted it into my Blackberry) then copied the same file to athe main memory of the phone in a download folder. My blackberry was unable to open the .jar file from either location. August 2024, USA, Blackberry Classic, Model SQC100-4, Blackberry OS 10.3.3.2163.
Spying is just sadly the consequence of using a smartphone. The only way to truly escape is by putting your phone in a faraday bag (which will keep from receiving calls or texts) since 5G can get your more or less exact location within 50-300ft and there are so many things on stock android and iOS that finds out your exact personalities (e.g. pokemon go looks at your previous 3 webpages browsed and collects this data for advertisers circa launch yes I actually read EULAs). Best bet for privacy is either using a dumb phone or a microG android custom ROM (Pixel phones are your best bet) God I wish we still lived in a time when you could actually choose to be spied on 😔
Even if Blackberry makes a comeback, it would be just a brand They are no longer manufactured by RIM They would be just another smartphone brand, but of course they would have that nostalgic edge among their lovers

got my passport i managed to install some android apps but the battery became bad. it drains the battery with in 5hrs without using it
