this band fills a similar niche for me as Faith No More .... absolutely love this band. it's hard to go wrong with these guys. btw, i think you'd LOVE the collab they did with Tatiana (from Jinjer) -- _Over and Out_
Unfortunately they have officially disbanded as of this year. The vocalist left the band in 2022 and there was talk of another vocalist, but I guess that didn't work out.
Todaaaaayy!!! 🫠 What up chica!! Love seeing TFN here. Been loving these dudes for a very long time. They’re pure gold. I wish they could have made it work. Hope you’re well homegirl! 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽
@@SoulSingerDiscovers I second this. It's more musical and weirder genre-wise; but really this is one of my top 3 bands. I can put all their stuff on shuffle and never have to skip a tune.
Props to Owl great pick! Go lucky enough to see them live when they toured the states and have a chance to have a beer with them. They are just as fun in person as the video would lead you to believe.
I love watching someone react to something I like, especially when they have some music cred. Hence, my love of the channel! 12ft Ninja is a good example of Aussie attitude paired with punk sensibilities. Oh, and they're pretty good musicians, too. There's a strong tradition of musical comedy/parody in the culture here-I think folks just don't like taking themselves too seriously in general. Sometimes my adopted home is pretty fun. :) Great review!
Since you like complex vocal harmonies, you must check out King's X. They are a power trio from Houston Texas that all sing while rocking out. All 3 members trade off lead duties from song to song. One way of describing their music is Sly Stone meets The Beatles meets Metallica. Start with "Dogman", "It's Love", and "Over My Head". I hope you enjoy them!
Good reaction. I really liked 12 Foot Ninja. It was a shame when they disbanded. I agree with veriahl, you need to react to Tatiana's collaboration of "Over and Out" with this band. The quirky Australian humour makes it worth the reaction by itself but Tatiana's harmonizing with the lead singer is really, really good.
Why yes, Metal can be fun! That was great! Love the rhythm section! Solid vocals and harmonies! You may enjoy the song I'm In A Band With An Italian Drummer, by the Bruce Dickinson Band! Keep up the great work My Fine Scottish Lady! ❤❤❤
That was fun. I need to reflect on why i have an instant mental distancing from the kind of vocal diction or tone they used in the harsher sections... Other than that, the metal riffs were super angular and dissonant which was fun, and the non metal sections were well executed as well.
If you think that was unhinged you really need to check out all of their videos, a great band who don't take themselves too seriously. They were also great live and happy to mingle with us regular folk after the gig, such a shame they have parted ways.
After watching your reaction i think you would like reacting to Porcupine Tree song 'Heart attack in a layby' (live). Or to stay with TFN, their song 'sick' has a funny film clip.
Speaking of metal and metal adjacent bands not taking themselves too seriously, seems like its time for Electric Callboy. Not sure how you made it around to 12ft ninja before them, and you're right watching someone experience something you love so much is as close as it gets to tabula rasa.
They’re musical geniuses , the way they construct songs , the melodies and outright killer musicianship they possess is unreal.

This is news to me!! And I am very excited 😄 thanks for watching my dude 😎
@@SoulSingerDiscoversI second checking out Over and Out!

Damn, thanks for letting us know.

I’ll check it out 😊

A metal band that can incorporate the triangle into their music has trewly been beesy!
FUCK YEAH! YOU TELL EM ROSIE!!!!
😄😄
Ah, 12FN... a more modern version of Faith no More 🤘
Yass, Twelve Foot Ninja is the bessst :D Their song with Tatiana from Jinjer is awesome too

Love these guys. They have so many good tracks and they're funny dudes too. Too bad they called it quits.
It really is cos they are great. Thanks for watching my dude 😊
New band for me and it's awesome! Disappointed to read that they disbanded though. Thanks For reacting to them and thanks Owl 👍

Twelve foot ninja is in my playlist rotation at most times. Also did you know they did a song with Tatiana from Jinjer?
WWWHHHAAAATTTT!?
It’s a great track!
@@SoulSingerDiscovers yeah, the song Over and Out. And it has hilarious and odd OMV. As always actually.
It is a wonderful video.

I thought this was really fun but with some serious music chops all the same. Thanks for watching my dude 😄
The chorus would pass for Alice In Chains new album if they were making one. Cool stuff
Thanks for watching my dude 😄
Such a great band. Sick and Ain't That a B*tch would be fun videos to react to as a fan of horror films!

absolutely love the music these guys create but I've always found it hard to watch the singer with his "hot topic" look he's got going on there.
@@GlennBoB1969 it was a really fun ride and for all the silliness there’s some solid musicianship in this 😎 thanks for watching my dude 😊
