Hello from Canada. Thanks for visiting Slayer again. Tom's voice has been like that throughout his career and sounds the same live. I've had the pleasure of meeting him and the rest of the band after a gig in Montréal and they are so cool. Tom is a natural joker and is very charismatic and upbeat. A far cry from the image that Slayer projects. Please continue going down that huge rabbit hole of theirs, you won't regret it.
Ah, lovely Slayer. No matter how I'm feeling, I always feel better after listening to Slayer. They definitely blow out all the cobwebs and make you feel better. The heart and blood get a wee workout as well trying to keep up with their tempo. Thank you Melisa! 🤘🏻🇬🇧🖤
Well, some classic thrash again - why not. 🙂 I never really was a fan of Slayer's music, but got why they belong to the most important bands of thrash, though. Tom Araya still sounds a lot like he did in the early times. Which is a good thing. But I really started to like him when I saw the first interviews with him, when he already grew a gray beard. He was hilariously funny and likeable and smiled all over the face. And, if I am not completely mistaken, he was in a mood, that I know from the old times, when you smoked a lot, ate a lot of chocolate, laughed a lot and had a great time at peaceful festivals with a lot of metal ... 😀 And guess what - I like that. Their videos might be not the most family friendly ones, indeed, but behind the stage, this guy seems to be a lot of fun and a very nice person. As most metal guys are. So, thanks for reminding me of this, and that you can maintain the ability to make enjoyable music for decades, even as a "fierce" thrash metal guy. Have a great end of the week, my dear Scottish dudette. I may comment a little more rarely these days, but this may change soon, hopefully. All the best and keep them videos going. I still watch them all. Seee y'a!
I Love Slayer! Great song and album! You may enjoy the song Bloodline by Slayer. It is about a Vampire...lol! Keep up the great work My Fine Scottish Lady! ❤❤❤
Slayer rules. (or is that "Reigns"?) This video also features the most Metal knife holder you can get, although it does take up quite a bit of counter space. Slayer is one of those OG bands that baby Nathan obsessively consumed, much to my parent's chagrin. I think it was fundamental to my musical tastes as a (much) larger baby Nathan, and thrash is always a good time.
The videos are meant to tell a story but the songs are not really written that way. More like a soundtrack. While it's kind of cool and very metal to go so hard with the videos, I also think they make it hard for people to concentrate on the actual music.
I love me old Slayer, but they could have stopped putting out new music after '91 and probably been further ahead just touring off those albums. This stuff just sounds so derivative.

This is the 1st in the killology. This, Rependless, pride and prejudice. Then eye patch guy will make sense
They made it into a graphic comic, which I own, now you have to do the third one called Pride in Prejudice.
Thanks for bringing Slayer back. You're beautiful!
Me against me? With my body mass that's entirely possible!

Please react to Gojira at the Olympics Opening Ceromy, you will love that performance.
That must of been the chef at the start of the video lol
😂

Baby Nathan had real taste. Baby Mel not so much 😂 I genuinely enjoy them 😊
The Repntless Trilogy! Shame you've seen this one and not the other 2. All 3 played in sequence would have been awesome
