You know, if there was more of this on these singing shows, I would probably watch them. Not everything is pop and these shows need to recognize that metal and rock is music too and there are A LOT of us metal fans out here. Give the genre the recognition it deserves and stop portraying it as evil and "devil worshipping" music. We have a voice too!

@@Soulcrusher820 It really is. Look at the way the world is now. And I guess a lot of people forgot, or just slow in the head, that rock opened up all these other genres of music and for far too long...rock has been put on the back burner. It's time rock dominates the music industry again

A técnica que você tem que obter para conseguir fazer a projeção para a saída de ar e fazer como que os Screamos e gulturais saiam de forma a qual não prejudiquem suas cordas vocais e consiga ressoar de forma correta com a música, sem quebras/desafinar nos tons da música é difícil. Da mesma maneira que fosse um vocal limpo, o mesmo cuidado para não cantar desafinado, projetando saídas de ar, etc. Cuidados para não machucar a voz, tudo semelhante
But I can hear them struggling to play metal. Especially with the Necrophagist one. I wonder at what time the guitarist had to learn these intricate riffs :D

The metal voice is probably the most impressive because its so versatile. You can do fry screams, gutterals, and even the aptly named pig squeal. They typically have a very powerful singing voice as well.

El metal es un género tan poco comprendido q definitivamente no es para todos, lo amo!!!
El problema no es ese, tiene que ver también con los prejuicios, todo mundo piensa que el Metal es solo estridencia y guturales, sin saber que hay diversas facetas del género y encasillan el género en un solo sonido, a la gente que desconoce el género la entiendo en parte porque muchos de los trve tienen la culpa jaja.

These all sounded so impressive, and metal on the Voice is just ballsy.
I know that Randy's voice is hard top Redo , but it's too bad that she used the inhaled guttural chord, but her clean voice is great, Stabwound cover is great, the Spit it out attempt is cool, and it's so cool to have someone comin' do some Slam Death on this kind of show 👍👍

I feel bad for them, having to learn a Necrophagist song, especially the drummer. They did pretty good tho.

The first two were my personal favorite. Leaning more towards the girl though. She had it going on everywhere. Growls, clean, power vocals.

I love how everyone is talking about the first girl when she was honestly and truly doing the worst sounding inhales. Second guy I got respect for because he threw down some necrophagist and was actually doing proper false chord vocals. Third guy did probably one of the hardest slipknot songs to do vocally. Fourth guy started out started out with an awful attempt at a pig squeal and had pretty weak highs but his gutturals were pretty good. And the last guy seems like a seasoned vocalist and whitechapel is a killer band

@@vkidofdarkness Yeah, you're laughing because of the immense influence Onset Of Putrefaction had, creating a refreshing style for the brutal death scene at that time. Played (except for the drums) and composed by ONE SINGLE PERSON. Something that has never been done again in the tech death world.

@@hsonh0722, I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain that she's leaning heavily into her fry scream. Her vocal career wouldn't have any longevity, and her cleans wouldn't sound as crisp if she was doing inhale screams. There's no breath support when inhaling, so your throat does most of the work. There's a much bigger chance of wrecking your chords.
@Daymare_666 don't get me wrong, I think she is awesome, but I still think it's inhale! Listen the part just before the first button press, shr tries to go wide with the scream and the sound collapses. I still think it's good!

No me canso de repetir, es uno de los mejores generos musicales ya que te ofrece variedad a diferencia de lo urbano. ( mal llamado musica, eso si es puro ruido)
Depende de lo que quieras considerar urbano, técnicamente el Rap y Hip Hop también cuenta como música urbana y ahí hay muchos artistas realmente buenos, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, XXXTENTACION, Eminem, Coolio, Juice WRLD, Lil Nas X, 50 Cent, CORPSE, Ghostemane, Machine Gun Kelly, Twenty Øne Piløts (Aunque ellos hacen rock, pop y otras ondas musicales, pero el rap se mantiene vigente), etc incluso en el metal hay buenos artistas del estilo Hip Hop como Fred Durst (O Limp Bizkit entero directamente) y Shinoda (Podría contar todo Linkin Park, pero no tengo mucha idea si ellos hacían ese estilo rap en todas sus canciones)
Ahora, si con Género Urbano hablamos quizás del rap hispano (dónde hay pocos destacables como Porta), trap hispano (Porqué el trap angloparlante realmente es mejor y más disfrutable), RKT o Reguetón Moderno (Porqué el viejo es muy disfrutable, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar.. ellos dos son los únicos que conozco y son disfrutables), ahí ya estamos hablando de algo en lo que se puede coincidir
Solo porque algo no te gusta, no lo hace malo. A mi me gusta metal y me gusta raggaeton también y no hay ningún problema en eso. Y mi genero favorito es el Clasico. 🤷♀️ A las ppersonas les gusta sentirse superiores solo porque les gusta algo. Pero somos todos normales y iguales y eso no te hace especial. 😉🙌
