About David Bowie:
David Bowie redefined musical genres and the potential of live performance for generations of music lovers. Creating and discarding a variety of personae and restlessly challenging musical boundaries, Bowie released timeless albums including Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust…, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, "Heroes,” Let's Dance, Heathen, The Next Day and many more. Blackstar, Bowie’s 28th and final studio album, was released on his 69th birthday, January 8, 2016. David Bowie died on January 10, 2016, two days after the release of Blackstar. His body of work, his influence on the worlds of music, art, fashion, film, theatre and beyond, and his legacy of innovation and reinvention will live forever. 2022 kicks off with Bowie at 75, a celebration of his 75th birthday with the Brilliant Adventure box set, the previously unreleased Toy, the 50th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust and a series of special events.

David Bowie was probably the most iconic person to ever walk earth, I love him 💗
Agreed and same🥰
Eu também.
Yess!
Bowie was the coolest man on earth. There will never be another legend like him. Rest well among the universe Starman.❤️
He is a moondust now.🌌 We🖤now and then forever Bowie⚡
The sexiest performer of the 70's.... broke boundaries and was adored by millions.... me being one of his ardent followers
Best performer ever!!!!!!!
Iggy
Correct
Ich auch..
I saw David Bowie 3 times. '91, '97 and '04. The last song of the encore in '04 was ZIGGY STARDUST. The band came to the front of the stage after it ended and took their bows with the man. He smiled and waived at us as the ovation got louder and louder. I turned away and ran up the stairs to beat the crowd. That was the last time I saw him.
50 years ago, I was in the audience for Ziggys final show, and to see these clips come up brings back such joy for me, of an amazing night in musical history 😊🎉
You’re soooo lucky ❤❤😮
What an honour! 🙇♂️
I envy you
He looks so fabulous in this attire especially in this resolution and the performance is just marvelous.
Its fascinating to watch him. He was always very flash and had great stage presence. The camera always followed him but I wish they would show more of Mick Ronson.
nicely said yes He is! i watch this performance a lot its friggin amazing he was in sync here big time. spectacular
A true unique icon we'll never see the likes of again. Incredible song and the album itself is one of my favourite albums of all time.❤
Total agreement. And It's still my favorite albums by one of my top three favorite musical acts/musicians, who was a brilliant artist in general as shown by his songwriting, singing, musicianship, as a live performer, visual innovator, actor.....
Absolutely True ... he inspired me to create "Space Buoy - Bowie's Love Child" on You Tube .... Wow his fans are amazing!
Ppl try, but that’s the thing they try. And they try too hard. He just was.
I think back to my 50+ years on the earth, and I struggle to think of any other soul who resonated as much. He was unique, troubled, gifted, and blessed-cursed at once. He was the visitor who held the mirror. RIP David - and thank you. Again and again
In the 1980s I was the weird kid in school, I spent lunchtime talking to the Dinnerladies, or reading a fantasy novel. In the 90s I found Bowie's back catalogue - having fallen in love watching Labyrinth. In y early twenties I came to understand that I wasn't just the weird kid, I was the queer kid. In my 30's my heart broke, along with millions of others. And our hearts were broken, because throughout his career, Bowie was the artist (and a true artist, at that) that held out is hand to the weird kids, the queer kids, the displaced kids, and he said "come with me, and you'll never be alone". Now in my 40s, I begin trialling medication for ADHD tomorrow, and this video could not have been more perfectly delivered to my subs. Because whilst he doesn't walk amongst us, you can bet he will be holding the hand of this weird, queer, not all here kid as they start out on a new adventure. Thank you Sir, for everything.
🇧🇷🙏!!
It's beautiful music, rock n Roll, freedom, experimental, cocktail, flamboyant, gorgeous, chemically induced.....etc❤❤❤❤❤😊
Cocky
I am also the weird queer kid and also love his music and fell in love with labyrinth and Jareth himself (who didn’t lol)

Big, Big, Big Bowie!
Unforgettable!
Alex from Italy.
The whole band is on fire here, Omg!
Love Ziggys performance art, can’t take your eyes off of him as he commands the stage!!!
😻
THE BAND IS GREAT!!!
He's mesmerizing, for sure!
You should have been there. They were awesome. I was 4 ft from the stage for most of the concert, when the girl in front of me got pulled up on stage, I was right in front, jammed in by folk all around. The atmosphere was electric. Such memories 😍🎶🎸
i admire Bowie, his talend in the scenary, his POWERFUL performance- He's a genious in every single thing.
The world miss u so much!
Bowie was really an icon and legend even his alter egos like Ziggy Stardust are brilliant. I can never forget his great music or the Ziggy Stardust album that still is one of my favorite albums of all time.
3 years of worshipping this man and now I can see his greatest concert in 4K!!!!
what concert is it?
@@user-yw9fl4zs8t this was filmed at the hammersmith Odeon in the UK on July 3rd 1973, during his ziggy stardust tour
@@user-yw9fl4zs8t hammersmith, Odeon
It always leaves you speechless every time you watch it. It’s just a masterpiece🤘❤️
Love when Ziggy stares deep into our eyes, fantastic camera work!!!!!!
😻
David Bowie was and still is a LEGEND.
Everybody says that Queen's performance at Live Aid was the greatest live performance in history, and I won't dispute that. But I'd say that this is an honorable runner up.
I don't lol....
Que show um grande ícone do rock ❤
When I think of the finest songs of the glam era.Ziggy Stardust is my Stairway to Heaven.Epic song and artist.Still gives me chills
Literally from another world
Undisputedly the greatest artist of all time.
David Bowie The Icon Will live Forever I love him till I take my last breath such a visionary.. Rest In Power My Love⚡️💥⚡️
Just love it. Miss David. ❤
He will always be remembered, the best of all, now the star shines in the sky ✨
Those drums sound so damned good, Mick Woodmansey is fucking getting down!!!
SIR DAVID BOWIE 🙌 My lifelong: Hero, Saviour, Inspiration, Idol, Style Icon, Mentor, Role Model and Eternal Love 🥰 Was lucky enough to see his "Reality" tour. I stood, cheered & wept. The entire concert. It was "PHENOMENAL!" I just became a successful Song Lyricist, last year. In his honor. R.I.P.🕯BELOVED BOWIE 😢💝😍
HE REALLY IS A LEGEND ❤️
I got to see this on the big screen yesterday with a friend of mine and all I can say is, wow!
David bowie was such an amazing performer as well as an amazing person.
I'm so so thankful that we got to see the closest thing to actually seeing him live on stage ❤

LONG LIVE ZIGGY
Bowie slaying as he should
David Bowie will always be the best musical artist of all time (with Mahler). So much love from Perú ❤
I was born in 87 so I never got to experience this pure magic but am glad I can play this on repeat all day.
His voice gives me chills
One of the greatest rocknroll albums ever . Anything Bowie did would of been successful , he was a highly intelligent person , it shows in his songwriting . Thanks Ziggy , you really blew our minds while you were here , and made us dream of impossible things beyond our little worlds
Che artista ragazzi...intramontabile....
Un trasmutante
My uncle in the 70s was inspired by Bowie..he came up with the name slinky two stars.
Mr BOWIE RIP ALWAYS ON OUR MINDS😊
It's been so long since I saw this concert, I've forgotten the impact it had on me, my cousin and a friend. Feb.'73, David brought his Spiders to Nashville, Tn. I was 16. At that time Nash. was just becoming a tour stop for R n' R bands. Come April, I saw my 3rd show, Yes! Watching this clip is a blast. The band is tight and loud. Mick Ronson was damn killer. Bowie had them in the palm of his hand. Take me back, sweet, sweet Rock n' Roll...
Ahhhh 2:19 love this in the live performance and especially in the studio version with harmonies.
Hey if you're a David Bowie fan you should look up The Doublejumps, I think you'll like them
What a voice😍
David’s voice was never really celebrated..vocally he was amazing!!!
His vocal was incredible and effortless. Each album sounding so different.
Never celebrated? He sold over 100 million records, multiple platinum, gold and silver albums, won 6 Grammy Awards, 4 Brit Awards. The list goes on and on. What an absolutely ridiculous comment.
@@weirdographic he got those awards for his songs knuckle tits..I’m saying he was never given the proper credit for his singing abilities..Bowie is never mentioned among the greats of rock singers such as Plant, Rogers, Gillan, Don Henley, Barbara Streisand.
@@weirdographic They were clearly making a comment about his vocal ability rarely ever being celebrated. Which is true, he wasn't ever known as being an incredibly strong vocalist.
I’ve been watching this video for 10 years now, and with this quality, I’m noticing a lot of intricacies I had never heard before. Especially the keyboards. Thank you so much for doing this
What a time to be alive
Legendary, iconic, flamboyant, Freak
Who before, or since , could pull off that look, with a song as great as that, and the vocals to complete the package
How anyone can say any other singer, or musician was on a par with him, is mind boggling
He was untouchable
Freddie Mercury?
@@5star555555555 You don’t know the depth and breadth of Bowie’s work as a solo artist, over decades
There is no comparison

So fantastic.
Love Bowie....but I'm right there with Mick Ronson as well. Great tone and great harmonies. He completed that package and presentation.
Mick Ronson is da bomb!! Fantastic guitarist and harmonies, he arranged the music too.
Only the best for Bowie!
All band was best band ever
thanks for keeping this channel active
Just bloody marvelous.. ♥️
David Bowie , beautiful, wonderful as always !!! 🥰😍🤩
Got my Copy of the brand new release two weeks ago: The speakers of my car are about to explode everytime I play It cause It must be played at maximum volume🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
amazing ❤
David Bowie will forevermore be truly the most greatest artist of all time.
Absolutely True ... he inspired me to create "Space Buoy - Bowie's Love Child" on You Tube .... Wow his fans are amazing!
Mick Ronson's guitar tone is out of this world!
OH YEAH!!💝
OH YEH !!!!
This has to be said! Mick Woodmansey, what a great drummer! A full, powerful, visceral style, you feel your heart fit with the beat, unique!
This upgrade is awesome! I’ve been a fan for many years! Love him ❤❤
Such a tight and riveting performance. It never ever seems dated.
What a great performance
I saw him in Worcester June 1973. Mesmerising.
Sensacional 🙏🎶💓⭐👋⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hey if you're a David Bowie fan you should look up The Doublejumps, I think you'll like them
As was once said, There’s Old wave and there’s new wave and there’s David Bowie, many tried to copy him but didn’t even come close. I was so lucky that I got to see him 35 times live and briefly met him twice. I will leave you all with one thought, if you sit down and listen to the studio album Ziggy Stardust it is hard to imagine but he recorded that album in one take, every song on there that you hear was exactly how it was on the day. So let’s do 5 years first, yep done and on to the next. I am quite biased I will admit but to me there will never be another Bowie, and the influence he had on so many bands was quite incredible, the good thing is he will live on forever through his music.⚡️⚡️⚡️
Hey if you're a David Bowie fan you should look up The Doublejumps, I think you'll like them
Looks and sounds fantastic. It always looked grainy as hell before, the blurry zooms get a bit much though. Looking forward to seeing and hearing it. Amazing that you can dig out this virtual new performance so many years after Ziggy, David, Mick and The Spiders from Mars are gone.
I love him for being totally comfortable in his own skin, no matter the clothes, makeup or jewelry....or not.....he was happy being who he was all the time and the world be damned if they didn't like it.. He was the best.
I miss him so much
We won with this version
What a great live
So great to see this iconic performance in 4K. Thanks 🙏

David Bowie making my life better one song at a time
Loved this song. Bus to Glasgow to see Aberdeen play Celtic in the Scottish cup semi final. Aberdeen won 1-0, Peter Weir header from Eric Black cross. 1983. Amazing what memories great music can evoke.
What an absolute legend.
