Language! I suggest you try a Timex, and you post a video about how it sux. I admit it, my opinions are worthless. But in my defense, you bought the Timex with a Chinese movement. I don't care how great a watch is manufactured, if it has a Chinese movement, I won't buy it. That includes UA-cam favs like Studio UnderD0g. You've had two bad experiences with Chinese movements. Perhaps stick with the Timex using Miyota automatic movements?
Agree 100 percent on smaller watches. Did you see the new Hamilton in 34 mm, released today? It's a stunner. And they do not market it as a "lady's watch." It's just a smaller size and can be worn by anyone with the wrist and the style.

Honestly, you are not entirely wrong. I have bought mine almost 40-50 % off, so i am bit more forgiving, when it comes to the watch. I think the dials are so unique, that i just think they deserve their praise, cause there is litterally nothing like these produced by any other brand, atleast not something that is attainable by mere mortals. :)
I have not had the best of luck, and the movement should be a deciding factor, and i probably would stray more away from those, regardless of how great the watch is designed. :) I appreciate the response
I have not seen the Hamilton 34mm, whats the name of that model, i will have to check that out asap!

I have the yellow gold one and I can't seem to take it off. Nothing fits better than these traditional sized watches. They slide under any cuff and don't impede movement. What guys fail to realize is that if you are wearing bigger watches with a smaller wrist all it does is make your wrist look scrawny. This is the most sophisticated affordable watch for the money IMHO ✌🏽

There’s nothing wrong with the movement. It’s fine. It works and it’s serviceable - what more do you need in a simple dress watch?

I had a movement that stopped working. So my experience has not been the best. Maybe it was just a dull one though :)

The name Marlin was based upon the diver’s fish of the same name, the 2017 - reissued were based upon Mercury’s, as lacked ‘Waterproof’ on the dial, they are based upon one 1965 model, this model with a (sweep) or second hand version, couldn’t make out out the third watch, as both were silver… there was a (non sweep) no second hand version, 2026 was what’s the reissue was based upon, made between 1965 and 1966.

For how long do you have your marlins? Does it last at least three years?

I have sold some of them. 3 years is fine, i think. But i would not so say many more years than that.
