PREACH!! While they had to fix cracked Apple screens repeatedly, my gorilla glass Samsung Note 8 lasted almost 7 yrs...5G was the only reason I replaced it last month. 😢

Lol. I have a low end Samsung phone that came with the plan (aka free) nearly 5 years ago that has been dropped outside, inside, whatever, repeatedly. It's still in great shape. The screen protector and the 3rd party case I bought for $10 are the only things I need to replace. I've even looked at higher end phones like the Google Pixel but never bothered to buy them because I don't do anything but text occasionally, take calls here and there, and play a few games when I need to kill time (work breaks). I have several family members (it's like 50/50) that have iPhones and all I hear about is the cost of upgrading or repair. This company doesn't even try to hide their grift. That's why they had to get sued just for the right to repair outside of Apple, since it was another way they were making megabucks (forcing customers to pay their exorbitant repair prices).
Water damage was the only reason I finally replaced mine last year, and I went straight for the Ultra because I couldn't not have my beloved stylus. I can't for the life of me figure out why people keep letting Apple bamboozle them with those chintzy phones.

The funny thing is that when you drop that kind of cash on an Android you're getting crazy state-of-the-art tech. With Apple you're just getting pretty much the same phone they put out the last two times, only now you need to buy a whole bunch of new accessories because the old stuff isn't compatible. I had a job where majority of my coworker had an iPhone. When I realized I was not in these groups chats, not that I cared, my boss said since I didn't have an iPhone, she wasn't able to add me to the existing thread. So she didn't. They later made a separate thread with all 3 of us that had an android so we could be filled in on whatever. We often got the info late or the next day after whatever was said. I never responded, because I did not care. 😂

I have android and iPhone friends. In group chats. We all communicate just fine, so I don’t get people who be worrying about the differences. They’re all just phones. You want to “love” a text, do like my android friends do, they just respond with a heart. Same thing.
Plus, FaceTime links can now be texted to androids and they can join the FaceTime. That pretty much fixed everything for us. 🤷🏽♀️😂

My ex-boyfriend switched out and got an iPhone after talking so much junk about them. He started "liking" and "loving" my texts, and I told him to stop😂. Now that androids are able to "like" and "love" texts, he would get the same smoke back....lol

@@BooDotBoo You guys have to admit, a great many (not all), iPhone users aren't tech savvy or can even be bothered to figure out anything that isn't spelled out. I say this as someone in IT that finds Apple users more prone to not know more than the basics on their own devices. Me and many of my colleagues had to get familiar with them just for this reason when this isn't even our field. That's why I'm not surprised that so many people here seem to be saying the same things. Their posts match my experiences.
