Off today's topic - I was invited to a fancy holiday party. This is outside my normal social gatherings. I immediately started shopping. Nothing was quite right. I then asked What would Alyssa do? I remembered my LBD summer dress and realized I love this dress and with tights and my fancier jewelery I could make a great outfit. Thank you for being my mentor!
Alyssa, you’ve taught me how to mentally “shop my closet,” so it’s great seeing these look book style videos. For each outfit, I was able to think through which items in my closet had similar style descriptions, how you were using styling tweaks, and how I could adapt each outfit within my wardrobe color palette. I’ve learned so much on this channel and am pumped 💪 to have a clear understanding of and vision for my personal wardrobe. 🙌
The most surprising look, to me, was the "cozy layers" #12 (@6:00)...because it worked so well. I often wonder how people wear multiple coats/jackets/tops all at once and still look amazing. You showed me how!
I use this approach when I need to be slightly more formal in a cold environment, eg singing in a Medieval church in Winter. There’s a point though when I give up and do Michelin Man chic.

I loved all of these looks! Timeless and classic, but still current and edgy, too! You look amazing and comfortable in all of the looks. I saw the furry vest on the rack and I was thinking to myself, "how is she going to incorporate that in her look?" I was skeptical, but you made it work easily!! You are gorgeous! Absolutely love this, my camel blazer is one of my favorite wardrobe items and you have just inspired so many new looks for me, fantastic :-) Love all your video's but more of key wardrobe stables like this are great.
Love love love! I'd love to see it styled belted over the tan wide leg trousers, maybe with the black belt and slingbacks, the blue oxford shirt with a few buttons open, cuffs casually turned up, layered gold necklaces. Very "Birkin Mom" aesthetic as the kids would say.

I recall an episode where Alyssa tucked her blazer (maybe this one) into her tartan plaid miniskirt. I couldn’t believe my eyes! I didn’t and still don’t know why anyone would ever want to do that, but she somehow got it done and didn’t rip any seams.
Thanks! I only have one blazer in a similar colour, but it’s a tweed/woven pattern so very much autumn/winter. I just haven’t even reaching for it as I feel the length is awkward to style but after watching this I feel more confident ❤
Right on time! Yesterday i pulled out my black blazer ,black velor stretch pant and black and white turtleneck and my white lace patent leather loafers, then added my ysl camera bag, i felt so good in that outfit. I learned a lot from this channel.thank you!

Im newish to your channel. Watched a lot of the newer and older videos in a short time and will be coming for more. Love your sense of style, and even though mine involves more color, im still getting a lot of inspirations here. Biggest on the videos where you narrate your outfits as that allows me to watch them while also doing other things. Wow. I got soooo much inspo from this! I have a ancient wool burgundy blazer I got maybe 30 years ago? It’s perfect for a ton of these looks. So is the brown blazer my son gave me-he doesn’t wear it-loads of ideas from this for that blazer as well! Thank you.
It’s testimony to your “slique fysique” that you can put the vest under the blazer without bulking. I’m too curvy even after a tummy tuck. Still, ❤ Love your channel! Thank you! I don’t own a beige jacket, but found some inspo for two jackets I haven’t worn in a while. This week is set to have slightly warmer temperatures after a few weeks of below freezing or close to. So I’ll see if I can get away with wearing a jacket in the office rather than a thick jumper. Skirts have to wait for spring or summer. I’m a three layers on my legs in winter gal :)

It’s because she is very slim and small framed. Many cannot pull that off and still look chic.
