What's up guys? Back with another Skyrim Special Edition AKA Skyrim Remastered Countdown video for you guys and today I wanted to go over what I think are some of the best two handed Warhammers and One Handed Maces are in Skyrim. These 9 are among what I would consider to be the best.
As always, if you liked this video, leave a like and let me know what you think! - Ігри
That Ebony teabag though...
A nice touch if I say so myself :)
VinylicPumaGaming just curious, how did you get that mission about the ebony warrior?
Space_cadet 5604 Hit level 80 he will find you.
like what pewds says " EPIC "
Hey Puma, do you think you could do Top 9 Propane accessories video? You seem like a thoughtful guy, and we here at Strickland would value your contribution.
Fuck off dad
Bobby Trill BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH! Boy, you ain't right.
Hank Hill thoughtful guy? He is reading off skyrim wiki literally by word. Dislike this clown
Mr Brocolli Do you know hwat a hammer is?
hwat
Am I the only one that thinks the dragon bone war hammer looks like a pair of soggy balls?
John Cena69 hahahaha
What is this?:
A) Dovah sex toy
B) Giants walking stick
C) Dragonbone warhammer
D) All of the above
@@nohooligans888 you took that from the senile scribbles... gotta site your sources
@@michaelmcgowan9502 I mean no I want people to get the reference if they've watched it not if I've told them where it's from
@@nohooligans888 I was joking but its fine
The biggest problem I have with the Stahlrim blunt weapons is that they look like garbage. So I prefer the ebony mace or go Longhammer FTW.
Also, I am not confident enough in my sexuality to carry around the dragon bone Warhammer.
What is the Dragonbone Warhammer? Is it:
1) Dovah sex toy,
2) Giant's walking cane
3) Dragonbone Warhammer
4) All of the above?
^ Nice Reference. The Senile Scribbles. In case you didn't know. Look it up.
Wary Wolf anything can be a dildo, that's if your brave enough
The Warhammer is awesome! Bash a guy in the head with a fucking glacier!
Chunky Milkz Nice reference
I just started a Mace and Shield character, Nice
Continum i'd use the Ebony mace is feels satisfying to use and looks cool crushing someones skull
My Shield user and 2h user both used all 3.
Note: Sword increases burst damage potential. Axes and Maces damage increases are just there flat always. I used Maces against enemy Stamina users with stamina damaging enchants. Frost, Absorb etc etc. Then Axes with Shock, Absorb Magicka.
I started one a few days ago
It’s a stealth archer now
This was the last Skyrim video he made I believe but damn all the hate made him stop, I actually enjoyed most of them
Why was he getting hate for?
>when youre a daedric prince, ruling over a entire realm of oblivion pouring your hatred into a single weapon and fueling it with your power to give only the most worthy of mortals but its gets surpassed by some bandits dusty mace.
What is the dragon bone war hammer supposed to be again?
A: A dragons sex toy
B: a warhammer
C: A cave mans club
D: a femur
bonk machine
E:all of the above
Am I the only one who thinks puma takes weight of gear to much into consideration?
it does affect your dps on the weapon sow I guess he should
Sean McMenemy It not only affects your dps but your stamina management as well.
While it does have an effect, it's WAY smaller than Puma makes it out to be
U cant mix xbox and sony do u like sony more or shit xbox more
Yes you are the only one dumbass, what’s the point in having a more powerful weapon if it takes twice as long to swing in that case your better off with a weapon that does almost the same damage but swings twice as fast
(sighs) it's just something about cleanly cutting off an opponent's head with a bludgeoning weapon that really turns me off warhammers and maces...I mean, make their heads explode fallout 3 style or something not just slide off an expertly severed neck dammit...
unfortunately warhammers and maces use the same animations as axes and battle-axes
I'd say it makes sense. With enough force, it could happen. And considering you're swinging around 20 pounds of steel, off with their heads.
The biggest drawback to maces (and 2H weapons in general, due to their slow attack speed) is that enchants and poisons work on an on-hit basis. If their effects scaled like power attacks, slower weapons might be more favourable.
Maces and warhammers only deal more damage over 1 hit, the weigh more and swing slower, over the course of about three seconds a greatsword or sword of the same quality will deal almost 150% of the damage of a warhammer, and most "tough" enemies will take more than one hit to kill
You are correct, Swords usally have higher Dps over other weapons especially warhammers. But the war hammers perks are pretty good consider you can get them to ignore 3/4's of a enemies armor. This is good when heavy armored opponents and besides, isn't it a lot funner to crack someone over the head with a hammer than to just cut someone with a sword? I feel Warhammers and Axes provide a more... Savage/Brutal appeal to characters. and if I saw someone wielding a hammer in combat I would assume that they would be pretty strong to be wielding such a large weapon.
Kelven Optimus Maximus well.... no. unless your'e dual wielding, your'e going to block, most of the time, you will get the same number of hits between blocks with a greatsword and a warhammer, rendering the greatswords speed redundent in some cases, for all the other cases, longhammer will still be better than any greatsword. on the 1 handed weapons you are right, but.... if you are dual wielding, main hand weapon should have highest possible damage because it's speed is not taken into account when power attacking, which is what you should be doing when dual wielding. overall what you said is true for 1 handed weapons while not dual wielding.
Scott Burton more fun*
Ha on the Ebony Mace part when he gets shouted up on that ledge he gets nail in the asshole with an arrow! XD
🐂👁️
Let's all be honest with each other. We all start out as something like a sword-and-shield, two-handed character etc, but we all eventually turn into a stealth archer :P
Someday I might
EpicSheepGamer I hate sneak in Skyrim
EpicSheepGamer it’s the complete opposite for me-whatever I try to become,I’m always a Sword and shield warrior in the end
I like dual swords
I tried to be a spellsword
I swear at times the handle bash killmove makes it seem like your enemies die because of forced fellatio
Mayhem Shrapnel lol
something something accidental buggery
Make a video of 9 epic moments in Skyrim special edition
Honestly, this is one of the few videos in which I think you are completely wrong. The mace of Molag Bal is plain old superior to the ebony mace. The only bad thing you mentioned about it was the lack of double improvement, which is a minor flaw compared to the huge amount of advantages of the Molag Bal. The ebony mace has weaker damage at the start, and can only get 2 enchantments with max enchanting. However the Molag Bal has 3 enchantments.
I find your reasoning that the lack of double improvement makes it worse than a much inferior weapon very flawed. However most of the video was very good, but I wouldn't put the Runehammer on there. It's too gimmicky.
Lack of double improvement is important as it effects the physical damage of the weapon. The higher, the better. As far as enchantments go, Molag Bal has Stamina and Magicka damage. While these 2 enchantments aren't bad, wouldn't you rather have absorb Magicka and stamina? You deal magicka and
stamina damage, but you also recover some magicka and stamina as well. I will admit soul trap is nice.
The advantage of the Ebony mace is it's only slightly heavier, but it can also be enchanted with better enchantments.
But a lack of double improvement is not enough to to break a weapon. Plus, the Capture Souls enchantment is extremely helpful, considering it gives you a near limitless amount of souls without having to use the Trap soul spell. You sacrifice that utility when you have an Ebony mace with Absorb Magicka and stamina.
The lack of double improvements in smithing is extremly important for my oppinion, especially at higher levels. And the enchatments of Molag Bal isn't that super good for latter levels as well
If you are playing normal/adept difficulty then, yes double improvement won't matter much. Go to higher difficulties and you will need better improvements on your gear to deal decent damage or survive a blow.
Pika Chu no I think he is right if you improve a ebony sword to legendary its better then
the mace of molag bal and you just gotta be a good enchanter and I already posted why I hate maces ao yeah Im not doing that again lets just say it sucks because its such a slow weapon en it drains MUCH more stamina
I have a suggestion for a borderlands countdown how about the best skins and/or heads in borderlands 2 and TPS
Maces are awesome!
Bonebreaker and skull crusher are like the MOST underrated perks in the game.
Lots a folks steamrolled the game on Novice difficulty and made a whole lot of weapon “guides” with shit like armor penetration being useless in Skyrim. In fact, every single professional warrior NPC has Juggernaut x2/x3 perk so dealing twice/thrice the damage (like x0,9 instead of x0,4) to high level NPCs can change the entire battle. Hence on Expert/Master/Legendary blunt weapons are much better agains warriors than any sword or axe.
My first playthrough I dual wealded maces.
Please do the best armor sets now :)
Volendrung: Swing Speed = Swing Speed of Greatsword. If you have plenty of Stamina (as you said the enchantment becomes somewhat obsolete) but not entirely so. With enough stamina, you can run up to any enemy & normally swing the crap out of Volendrung (combined with Mace of Molag Bal & The Black Star to keep it recharged) to drain their stamina to prevent them from power attacks (which deal more damage than normal attacks) or prevent mages from running away so easily.
up next! top 9 / 10 best staffs in Skyrim!
As far as the dragon bone Warhammer goes, it comes down to preference. As u won't really be able to craft it till mid-end game, it comes down to preference of aesthetics. U usually will end up, at those points in the game, not picking up much loot to sell as u pretty much already have what u want and don't really find much to work for as far as re-gearing goes. So encumbrance doesn't play as big a role as far as worrying u'll be too heavy. Great vid btw :)
Oh...and happy new year's all! :D
dragonbone mace with firery soul trap and caose damage at 100 smithing and dragon smithing is the best mace
I'm glad that My Mace is in this list.
i prefer the swords because they swing faster and they look and feel extremely satisfying to use
longhammer should be #1, other than that it's your best video yet.
I used to use the Mace of Molag Bal alot
Hey vi the mace of molag ball benefits from the ebony smithing perk because it uses the ebony ingot.
The Volendrung works great at high levels. I’m Lvl 100 and mine does 450 dmg. I use it all the time playing on legendary.
the dawnguard rune hammer is soooooo badass
I love my dragonbone mace (enchantments drain hp and stamina) and i also use the stahlrim mace but you said it had 1 less damage but my one does 30 more damage at level 100 smithing with no upgrades (potions/enchantments/anchient knawledge)
The mace in his right hand is the spell of destruction in his left hand, the best bulid in Skyrim
Maxes have the best one handed damage, plus you can get skills to ignore 75% of armor
Best weapon out of all maces and warhammers in the game?
"Hi, it's me, your friendly neighborhood blue rock on a stick"
You should do top 5 best melee shields in borderlands 2
Stallrem looks like a piece of ice was stuck to a pole only using a little metal bar and some nails
I got myself a Daedric Warhammer by lvl 20 - didn't take long to get the whole daedric set in all honesty
Omega lul Yeah...I noticed that, I got my Daedric armor at lvl 8 fully enchanted without console commands, granted i did abuse a bug. Honestly if you know how skyrim works, you can finish alot of things by lvl 12
It should be mentioned that the Longhammer often glitches through the table with its owner's corpse and you need to crouch and move the cursor around below the table to find it!
If you have the rune master perk from the destruction tree the runic hammer becomes the best « ranged » melee weapon
Making it able to cure the weakness of most dual wielding builds
I like using Mace of Molag Bal because the guards freak out. Dragonbone warhammer looks ugly though. It might be good if you're roleplaying a caveman but other than that, eh.
I got a stalhrim dagger of high chaos of a blacksmith at skaal village
What race were you playing as while demonstrating all of the weapon videos Puma?
if I use a mace I have to use a mod that adds macehammers. as in mace handle, warhammer head. I mostly used axes, swords, greatswords and bows though. mods are great though.
I always use hammers and axes and maces I personally have a soft spot for them.
9:10 deathlords in a nutt shell
Not for me, i use spell breaker
Volendrung is ma fav it is also a dedric artifact
You do know that you can get any enchantment you want with the attack the merchant glitch? It should save you from having to destroy a unique weapon.
Francis it respawns, a lot less tedious than killing the merchen a gazilion times (i did this for paralysis once)
What is the best type of two handed weapons to use?(great swords, battle axes, or war hammers)
Max Beardsmore there isn't a best type, it's very specific. the best is either the longhammer, or the ebony blade, depends on your playstyle.
hey, puma, how r ya doin' ? listen, i love your Top#, but could you focus on more uniqe stuff? everybody knows deadric and dragon weapons, cuz they are not unique weapons. items that you get once every playthrough are unique. focuse on those
sry 4 my english, i'm from poland
wesołych świąt
9:10 Nice block.
6:25 I levelled my destruction from 15 to 87 just using the Dawnguard Rune Hammer.
holy crap the mace of molag ball made it on the list that means its the best mace in skyrim
No
Nev Serafim it's not the best mace in Skyrim, it's just a good early game to mid game enchanted mace.
that launch 9:10
What is your opinion on one handed perks such as bone breaker, bladesman and hack and slash ? Are they useless or not ?
Most of them are, with the exception of the Bone Breaker perk
One thing to note is that encumbrance does not affect the attacks speed of melee weapons. If you do not care about carry weight, then it is irrelevant.
Second, at the very end-game, I would consider the Longhammer to be the best warhammer in the game by a large margin. With maxed out smithing potions/smithing enchantments/smithing, the base damage of the weapon is almost irrelevant. At this point, the 30% extra attack speed that can stack 2 with other enchantments/Elemental Fury puts it leaps and bounds above the other weapons.
Am I the only one who would have taken the clothes off all those bandits
you do realize that the champions cudgel can do 100 damage if all effects proc+disenchant it and you can make some fricking awesome weapons.
He got shot back up there haha
I gave the ninth best war hammer to a blacksmith because I don't use 2 handed and the way to get it is to do this mission called March of the dead
Did anyone else see the Fakmer that looks like a Twilekk? 7:34
I love warhammers.
Its just sooooooooo much more satisfying imo.
Try a helicopter build
This one player keeps kicking my ass
Is it TheLegend27?
Pip-Boy-Delu x yeah the legend27
Liam Geary fuck you guys xD
Who is the legend27?
I thought the champions cudgel was awesome but immediately disenchanted it
Hey it's steam winter sale :D
The swing speed of volendrung is the same as a great sword
I want a dragonbone warhammer....
You have to have a lot of health and armour to use a war hammer well which makes it hard early game
I didn't even know chaos enchantment could randomly appear
I still like the Daedric mace
have you seen Zaric's video about your video my dude?
I think you take a dragon's knee cap and put it into a weapon, also I feel maces and warhammers are a bit to slow for my liking
A two handed greatsword actually swings a tiny bit faster than a onehanded mace.
Its just my opinion, but even tho the champion’s cudgel can’t be upgraded it still good and I don’t think it has to be at the bottom of the top
I did the dawn guard quest line too early in the game and I didn't get the dragonbone stuff :(
You can craft it if you have the perk or just find them when you are lvl 46 or so
i just wish the dragon bone hammer looked better i dont like the look of it so in the end daedric hammer will probably be my most used hammer when i obtain it
What shield are you using in this?
The Longhammer has the highest DPS in the game I think so I go with it
I've only ever used an ebony mace. Swords & axes always seem too light, like ur swinging a toy. 2 handed is too slow. Maces are quicker than heavy weapons but have enough weight behind them to deal good damage.
"Ebony Ingots are fairly uncommon." Lol, I have like 50 of them. As well as like 12 Daedra hearts.
Isaac spohn console commands prove pcmasterrace
BlueFairyGaming meh, I still didn't get all of them legitimately. I used several exploits to get where I am. But hey, it's a single-player game right?
I like war axe
ayyyyyyy
the champions cudgel is upgradeable. it uses silver
Long hammer op
Volendrung has the same attack speed ass a great sword
make potions for all gear
The unofficial Bethesda game patches: Fixing benign, fun and useful bugs while retaining those annoying and game-breaking bugs, since Morrowind.
I'm jesting. But, it's (mostly) true.
how are you placing runes with a war hammer? is it a effect or something
Rinnegan Ice it's the dawnguard rune hammer, it places runes when you bash a surface
i feel like haveing the patch is better cause there are some game breaking bugsand the atuff that is patched is cause it was a mistake so im not even mad
One handed warhammers
1:28 Ice mages worst enemy for 2h characters builds
Actually you can upgrade the mace of molag bal
I have got all the best maces
10:38 lol'd
You missed that Volendrung has an invisible enchantment. Its swing speed is 30% faster than usual, giving it incredible dps even without being fully upgraded.
Volendrung?
are there any mods to improve the champions cudgel?
Alex Sitaras unofficial patch I think
The legendary dragon boner warhammer.
