Hey guys, so I finally managed to get my very first video on Skyrim out today! In this video, I will be discussing what I think are some of the Worst Swords, Maces, Bows, Greatswords and various Other Weapons that appear throughout Skyrim. And yes, before you ask, this is Skyrim Special Edition on PC!
As always, if you liked this video leave a like and let me know what you think! - Ігри
Worst weapons in the game: Starter weapons.
I mean.. Yeah, that's.. Almost every RPG
Point of the Practice Arrow is, you guessed it, practice
Nay T I feel stupid for watching this now
Nay T worst weapons in the game: somthing not ment to be a weapon.
+Sondre Danielsen Drægebø
Or what about collectables, like the shiv.
I mean, did anyone every use a shiv, as a weapon, outside shidna mine?
Nay T what about the khajit fists fifteen damage straight from the start
Anyone else come here thinking he was going to be talking about actual weapons you may actually consider using in mid- and late-game?
The better question is why bother making a video about a fork being a sucky weapon? Why do I want to watch 15 minutes of a guy going at length into the mechanics of why the first sword you pick up in the game is the worst in the game? I'd rather hear an argument on why he thinks Dawnbreaker is a bad weapon than why a fork is, like we don't know. I've seen a lot of list videos in my time, but this one has to be topping one of the worst I've ever seen. I would actually be relieved to hear that I've been trolled than to think this guy honestly thought this video in its current format was a good idea.
Yup. Pretty incredibly dumb vid. I found a worse weapon. The cup. Does no damage, can't be crafted or enchanted. WTF was betheda thinking??
ALLisLOST256 your channel sucks about as much as your advertising
luke ross I think he got banned or he deleted his account.
Yeah... I clicked the video bc I thought I would learn something, and I did. I had no clue about the shiv, knife, or fork. But more than that, he wasted my time. I saw the dragon priest knife and thought he'd have more to say about it, like a utility I didn't know about. Not trying to hate, but I gave the guy a chance after the iron weapons, and it only got worse. I really expecting to hear about the draugr weapons, though.
"practice arrow"
not sure it's meant to go kill some dragons..
"Pickaxe and Woodcutter's Axe" They're not supposed to be used in combat.... unless you're like me, and enchant all the useless weapons in the game with chaos damage with max enchanting and black soul gems. c:
Also, "Wooden Sword." IT'S LITERALLY A TOY TO GIVE TO YOUR CHILDREN
+William DeGroot (Lichdemon) nah, I gave them enchanted dadric daggers, they are the envy of the other kids on the playground.
Pixelated Potato Same. I want my kids to grow up stabbing everything they can get their tiny little hands on. c:
Pixelated Potato they are also the reason there are no other kids on the playground
Now I want to do an iron-only playthrough.
Or maybe a fork/knife dual-wield (with a chef outfit, of course) one.
Twin enchant both of them with absorb stamina and absorb health, and you can pretend to be a vampire without needing to be one!
Rallozar X ill be unstoppable i shall destroy the world with my dinnerwear.
"Gourmet" build after doing the assassin's guild quest.
Materials needed:
A fork and a knife, and work your way up to upgrade them, and get the best armor in the game, and a chef hat. You will be unstoppable.
Make the fork and knife OP
Last time I checked, common weapons are suppose to be weaker.
Last time I checked, practice arrows are meant for practice.
Last time I checked, pick axes are meant for mining.
Last time I checked, the wooden sword is a toy.
Last time I checked, a knife and fork are for eating with.
Some common sense here. And for those that apply, just because it can be used as a weapon, does not mean it is intended to be a weapon.
RebelPrizes Thats What Im Thinking! Using Non-Battle tools As Weapons?? Only idiots Would Do That! NOT saying the youtuber is an idiot but why would they use non-battle tools?
Is theres wrong grammar,
Im from philippines.i have my own language...
well the wooden sword can be used for practice atleast irl for doing swordsmanship. but obviously its not meant to deal damage.
Actually, somebody did do sth to the knife and fork and turned them into deadly weapons for dual wielding. Go check ESO'S youtube channel man
My wooden sword is not a toy
Last time i checked. The video said worst weapons. So you get the worst weapons. Period. Full stop. Worst weapon= worst weapon. You guys are the ones adding other random stipulations like "oh we dont count axes or knives" well you fuckers didnt make the video. And you can use them as weapons so they fuckun count. LaSt TImE i ChEcKed.
Puma you're obviously a noob. Everyone knows only true mlg players use the wooden sword. Why? You ask, well I'll tell you.
Mlg players use it because they know how to harness it's true power. What's it's power? You ask, that I can not tell you not many people know how to and they don't like to share their secrets. All I can tell you is, it can kill a giant with one hit and even then some.
Although there is a story that says one day one man will go on a epic quest to find the wooden swords true power and use it to bring peace to this war ravaged land.
Lmao I just spent 5 minutes on this hope you like it guys :p
good job on this comment
Tvbedsofa Kai Well I've never tried to upgrade it, but since he said it can be upgraded at a grindstone you can probably use the alchemy enchantment, potion of enchanting loop to create a high end pair of smithing gauntlets that will allow you to basically have any weapon one hit kill anything.
Tvbedsofa Kai dat some good commenting
Tvbedsofa Kai i didnt even know the knife is worse then the wooden sword
Tvbedsofa Kai you know the secret!?
Oh my god I am so glad someone finally made this video! I have been using iron weapons since the first dungeon (I am level 54 now) and I had no clue that starters weapons were so weak. I also have been selling all of my good arrows for a hefty price and only holding on to my falmer/forsworn arrows. I had NO CLUE that I should have been using some more effective weapons in my play through. Next time I will be sure to get better gear, thanks for the help! I am also wondering if this applies to armor as well..? I have been using hide armor because Alvor showed me how to make a hide helmet. Is it at all possible for me to get some better armor? Thanks.
If that’s not sarcasm then your a fucking idiot
My friend it's impossible to get better armor sorry bro
soulles metalhead it’s sad but true😢
MonkeyMan360 I’m gonna do it to you
You’re*
Thank you for the effort you put into this comment, I very much enjoyed reading it.
Of course the practice arrows don't do much damage, they don't do much damage because their main cause is for practice not killing. Also the pickaxe and woodcutter's axe also aren't for damage, they're for mining ores, and chopping wood.
I have a wierd story about Iron weapons in Skyrim.
When I first played skyrim, I just had surgery. So I was on pain medications. So for some strange reason, I forgot I could use any other weapons. Soooo I beat the main quest. with an iron sword of burning. This involved me running from enemy's, shouting bosses of cliffs, and other trickery. But it was all in like the first few days after my surgery so I was out of it.
Glue honestly i was thinking of playing skyrim and only allowing iron armor and wooden sword level items...sounds like fun right?
Ethan Ford Ford
It's an experience you don't forget. It's really hard, Alduin took a long time to kill, and the guards make fun of you.
Let me ask you Glue where you high on i dont know GLUE?
KILLPEW Ha ha. never heard that one before.
Glue that sounds like an actual nightmare
Get enchanting maxed. get fork and knife. put two enchantments on each. Chaos Damage and Absorb Health on both. now get yourself a chef outfit and the ring of Namira. Boom, enjoy a stupid powerful low-level build.
The Laughing Chef.
Someone just ripped off ESOs chef build....
Not really Low-leveled when you gotta get 100 in enchanting. Plus you need max destruction and restoration for max effectiveness.
the champions cudgel just has the chaos damage enchantment. that counts as one. then drain health could be split into both drain health and drain stamina but i like both to be drain health. OR i suppose you could add Fiery Soul Trap to one weapon so you could recharge your weapons AND deal extra fire damage.
This! I had so much fun eating my way across skyrim with my enchanted knife and fork and chef's hat!
got that at eso
*When the good weapons are too heavy and you are a fricken horder...*
Think about it. You get the shiv in the mines side quest. You are in a prison. You do not have a weapon. You have to kill a dude. The shiv is there for the quest, for the role playing! IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE COMPARED TO AN EBONY DAGGER!!
And why would you consider an equipable kitchen knife or a fork a weapon? Use common sense bruh.
The iron dagger doesn't suck, it allows you to lv smithing very quickly
Mah Man
It's also great for enchanting and reselling
Uncle Phil I mostly use jewelry for that, because it has a higher value
Brian Patrick van Oers nope pretty sure they patched that
Didn't the iron dagger glitch get patched?
i dont get why thing like practice arrows, pickaxes and iron weapons are even mentioned.
MrHeolsen Because this video is bullshit... I don't see why he put low level weapons and call them worst... (It's because they are low level...)
I first thought hed generalise it to "Hand axe" or "Flame staff" but no he took it further
So That the video can be called 9 worst weapons, rather than 7 worst weapons, or rather, after skipping through the entire video, it should be called "The two worst weapons in skyrim" and only include the Headsman Axe and the Dragon Priest Dagger. Seriously? The common Fork and Knife are number 1 and 2? It's for these reasons I wish people who made countdown videos would put the list in the video's description, so that we can check to see if it's worth actually watching.
It shouldn't take the average player much to figure out most of the weapons on the list are crap compared to everything else you can get your hands on.
In a game where all the different weapons and armor are in tiers, these videos are kind of pointless.
UA-cam guide #how to turn a 7 minute video into a 13 minute video
you know, he could have considered weapons you get mid and end game... Like Angi's bow, i literally just found her and im level 33 and her bows shit.
BTW i know its meant for early game, but you cannot say that on your first playthrough right at the beginning when you didn't know about anything you went up that mountain.
Lol love the video, "top 3 worst weapons in the game, your kid's toy and your utensils."
Hey guys you know what the worst weapons in the game are? Well they come from 3 categories. The first category is starter weapons you know the ones that are weak since you are fighting weak enemies. The second category is weapons that aren't intended to be weapons. The third category is weapons that are weak for a lore reason. You know like weapons made by people who are in prison, people who live in the woods and make their own weapons, and blind elves. What a lazy video.
Ssliska Melvin seat to
Ssliska Melvin agreed
You were watching this video so you didn't even find these out for yourself.... Whos lazy now?
@@jatkomummo6390 He already knows about the weapons in the game. Your insult is so fucking bad. What is your iq? Sub-100, surely.
@@jatkomummo6390 How about Fuck this video... and you can pick out the weapons you like to keep. I actually like the headcuters axe. It's unique. It's literately one of a kind. You can only get one in the game. same with Poachers Axe. Yeah, it sucks but it's a unique item to have.
In answer to your question - yes there is a point to the terrible arrows like Iron, Forsworn etc. Skyrim is a game where use of a skill increases that skill so if you can kill a giant with 5 ebony arrows that is 5 uses. Use iron arrows & it likely takes 15-20. That's 15-20 uses so you increase your skills quicker. I am playing an archer assassin & always have crap arrows on me.
Jimboola k
I thought weapon skill leveling depends on the amount of damage you do, not the amount of instances. Just like armor leveling. and smithing. and magic.
Its the amount of instances actually havent any of yous notced despite levelling a skill you like, no matter the weapon, it takes a long time its best shown in the blocking tree as whether your blocking battle axe or a dagger, you will level faster from being struck with a dagger
Scott Allen
I just looked on the UESP wiki, turns out you are wrong. Blocking a heavy-hitting attack will give more Skill-XP than a light attack (in terms of damage dealt). Read:
"This is why blocking a few attacks from an ice wolf may level up your Block skill at the beginning of the game when your skill level is low, but when your Block skill is higher later in the game, it will take a lot more attacks to level it up. In this instance, your Block skill would level up faster if you blocked an attack from a giant."
www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Leveling
Scott Allen
Basically means that the instances of light attacks (the ice wolf here) don't matter, only the damage potential of the attack (giant).
-"All Iron weapons are shit" well what do you expect from the lowest tier of weapons. Obvious and pointless.
-"Longbow". Again, the lowest tier in the bow category. Pointless and obvious
-"Falmer, Forsworn and practice arrows" I'll give you this point. But if you think about it, it makes sense. Falmer are blind and, consequently, really bad when it comes to archery (lorewise, gameplay wise they are like any other npc with a bow).
Forsworn live in the wilderness so their resources to make weapons are sparce and low quality.
And c'mon, of fucking course Practice arrows have low dmg. They are meant for practicing with targets like dummies or hay stacks. They aren't designed to pierce through armor and skin.
-"Pickaxe and wood axe" Well they are tools for mining and chopping wood. They aren't designed for combat. Obvious and pointless.
-"Headsmen axe". Well it's an axe used and designed for executions, not for combat. Sooo it makes sense and it's pretty obvious it's shit for combat.
-"Dragon priest dagger". Well, it's a dagger designed for rituals and not for combat. Obvious and pointless.
-"Shiv". Did you expect when you got the weapon, during the Markath quest, that it would be good for combat? C'mon it's a damn iron ingot which has been sharpened with no smithing tools! It's a very basic weapon designed to be hidden in your clothes and suddenly stick it to someone's throat. OF COURSE IT HAS BAD BASE DAMAGE
-"Wooden sword"...really? you went for this choice? It's a weapon for your kids to fight with in the Hearthfire dlc. OF COURSE IT HAS LOW DMG...Obvious and pointless
-"Knife"... a kitchen knife... I'm not even gonna comment why this is obvious and pointless
-"Fork"...*sigh*
In conclussion: this list covers weapons which are obviously "bad" because they are low tier or even aren't weapons but tools. Really stupid list (and btw, you get your mouth too close to the mic)
this is a list of the worst weapons in the game. Those weapons are bad weapons. Why are you objecting?
Nate Eskew I'm objecting because this is list is pretty pointless to make since most of the weapons either are the ones you get in the beggining of the game (which you stop using when you level up to lvl 5-10) or weapons which aren't meant to be used as such.
So this list is obvious and pointless since it adds no new knowledge to the players
Wtf did you expect from this it is showing the worst and those are the worst so stop bitching
The Perkaholic thief I expected interesting weapons, not obvious choices xD
what exactly were you expecting from a list of the worst weapons in the game?
Actually you don't start with steel smithing you have to use a perk point on steel smithing to actually get it, also iron is obviously just for starting players i know my assassin used iron daggers up until around lvl 4 because i couldn't find steel daggers, and the iron daggers worked well enough at those lvls.
i can tell all your comments were you watching throughout the video and getting pissed that they were bad choices lol
that's the joke XD dual wield the fork and knife. bravo Bethesda
Iron weapons are probably best looking weapons in the game. High tier weapons are so fuckin' unrealistic.
Ernest Mil you are playing a fantasy game, and you want realism, if you really care, get stalrim stuff, it looks decently realistic and is some of the best stuff in the game
Stalrim stuff is not only unrealistic, it's also super ugly, like every single armor in the game (maybe except iron, steel and plate.)
why are you looking for realism in a fantasy game?
All fantasy is based in reality. The suspension of disbelief can only go so far.
Yes, I want realism in a fantasy game, and so do you. I want the dragons to fly using wings, not using jet propulsion. I also want them to fly above ground, not under it. I also want them to roar and spit fire, not bark and smell other dragon's asses.
People like realism in fantasy, which is why I also played through Skyrim several times by using enchanting+smithing exploits for the sole purpose of making low-level gear as powerful as high-level gear.
exactly
So... all are either a joke or utility.... No actual weapons.
iron weapons are weapons
Filipe Natanael 1/9
juanjoseph longbow and headman's axe are also weapons so 3/9.
Jesus Narvaez The headsman's axe is more of a novelty item as its made for the purpose of execution and not battle. And though the longbow is a weapon, it could be argued that its due was more for utility since it was made to put food on the table and not conduct sieges.
AlphaWaffle Now it just sounds like you are saying things so youre correct. Utility things may be usable as weapons but are not weapons. By that logic spoons are just weapons and not for eating.
When he was bashing on iron I was just like “it’s a transition weapon from tutorial to gameplay
you have to be a higher lvl to use ebony weapons or be able to smith them, also once again dragon priest daggers are more novelty weapons.
The wooden sword is meant to be given to your kids.
Say that to my 600 damage wooden sword

Dave this would be number 1
Not really ive seen a whole lot worst
Dont watch this... Not worth it... 9-5 start weapons, 4-1 lore friendly ment to be weak items....
I wish I had read you comment before I watched 8 minutes of this.
Kacper K angry dude with stuffy nose
I remember my first character , a Nord that was "everything" like warrior , mage , stealth archer etc. and when i reached level 40 i stoped playing that character . When i yesterday loaded my last save from that character i found out i was using only steel plate armor , iron sword, imperial bow and steel arrows . The whole time i had things in my inventory like : ebony sword glass bow , elven arrows . Lol
how in the name of Talos did you get to level 40 with thwt gear?
With that logic , you forgot the fists.
The Fan what about claws
Fists can actually be really good if you're a cat with heavy armor gauntlets
The Fan Unless you're a furry.
If your a khajiit, the claws you posses are actually a top weapon at the begging of the game, so in some cases no, Not really, well for the khajiits at least.
Theres one heavy armour perk thats good for punching i think
You missed you point of these weapons. I'm going the put heath drain enchants on a fork and knife set dress up as a chef have a blast killing dragons
eso build
I did not know about the knife and fork, and yes, chef outfit, duel wield and cannibal for the win :)
Nathan Lamberth you should also get that ring that let's you eat the people you killed! You can be the insane, cannibalistic, dragonborn!
So the worst weapons are: the starting set, the one you make to gift to your kids, a knife you get just to finish a quest with, a knife you get when you're imprisoned and escaping, an axe mostly around for novelty purposes, and fucking cutlery.
Great list, don't suppose being useful ever crossed you mind
YOUR NOT SUPOSED TO USE PRACTICE ARROWS FOR FIGHTING! THEY'RE CALLED PRACTICE ARROWS FOR A REASON!!!
Im expecting you to upload "Top 9 worst jarls to attack" soon.
I'm aware this comment is a year old, but that reminded me of when one time, i attacked Ulfric
that was a mistake
i got disarmed, then a "fus ro da" in my face
Number one: Ulfric Stormcloak
there are nine jarls (don't attack any of them, it won't end well)
C.T Fawkes woosh
This was the funniest part of clicking on this video
who uses a pickaxe and an axe to fight, its is used for gather ing material
axe looks cool, and makes the game challenging
It's also great if you want to make and ax-murderer character.
That.. Tho he's also incorrect about then not being able to be enchanted. I put soultrap (1sec) on both of them rly cheap for last hits only.
As a good training weapon to achieve 100 skill using one handed melee and fighting againts high health enemies as Giants and Mammoth's etc.
He also forgot about the notched pick axe.
This video gave me the idea to go 1v1 with a giant using a fork
I think the strongest weapon combo in skyrim is the fork and the knife, since you can eat your enemies
I spent an hour beating the shit out of a dragon with a fork xD
loiswolf 99 was it worth it?
Looks like we're in the same boat... Time to get mods. Make the dragons tough af.
MC LADD yes it was worth it xD
OMEGANAVIE haha yup xD
XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I've killed an Elder Dragon with a wooden sword, I want an award.
eiebsrebla Damn.
resto glitch?
No glitch, just brilliant fucking tactics
eiebsrebla
Can see it happening, nice
Sir Tashington Yes there are. I dont play the remastered version, but in the original there are wooden swords. You can give them to your kids.
For some reason I always liked the simplistic look of the iron sword
well why dont you just go get dadric armor and wepions at level 1
Well one its techniquely impossible because you need a counjure skill of i think is 90 and by that time you would be about level 5 and if you just train conjure by doing the soul trap technique you would still be at least level5
@@matthewlutterman6388 but wouldnt it be much easier to level up twice to get the apprentice counjuration perk
Steven Bills ayyyyy! You saw that from ESO right? Spent like 30 mins getting my conjuring skills up and when I went to the place where you spawn it, it wouldn’t spawn. I checked I had everything. I had the greater soul gem with a soul trapped, daedric heart, ebony ingot and the void salt but it wouldn’t friggin spawn anything when I pulled the switch. Even tried removing the silgul stone(idk how to speed it)
You do know what gear progression is right? Iron weapons are supposed to be bad because they're weapons you get very early on in the game. Calling iron weapons "bad" is as obvious is calling level 1 enemies "bad". If all weapons are good then no weapons are good. Having bad/lowlevel weapons are essential to an rpg. Without them you would have no vendor-trash, a great deal of progression would be lost and there would be no weapons that are considered "good" since if everything is good those weapons do not stand out.
In 4 minutes you've used the word "literally" more than 5 times.
You do know that the word "actually" exists, right?
TheLazyWanderer takes after leafy
Shwa S. Maybe so, I don't really care...
It's just the effect of writing a script badly.
He asks a lot during the video “why would you use this weapon when there are so many better choices.” Well, a lot of people like to do builds, and role playing. So something like the headsman Axe would be great for a build.
That fork seemed to have killed more than the rest of the other weapons you mentioned...
I was always a little annoyed that the longbow was the worst bow since, in real life, it should be better than the hunting bow. The hunting bow is a recurve bow and should never have the draw strength of the longbow. The hunting bow should've been the worst and then the longbow the second worse. I know it's nit-picky but am I the only one that thought this?
This is a game where you can still draw back a bow made of dragon bone. I'm not going to knock on them for lack of realism in the bow department.
Alkaios
Good point
+Alkaios oh ok so pulling back a dragon bone bow is isnt realistic but the giants, mages, dragon shouts, undead coming back to life, talking to ghosts and spirits, talking dragons, magic weapons, trolls, werewolfs and werebears, vampires. i can keep going but i think you get my point, if anything pulling back a dragon bone bow is probably the most realistic goddamn thing in the game
If I am not mistaken there are bows made of horns for example. It's basically thin slices of the horn put together.
I think it's the same deal with the Dragonbone bow.
Anthony Gables Wait, you don't live with draugr?
I think the fork and knife were made weapons for immersion. In RPGs you can do whatever you want. be it slay a dragon or fight with a fork
Astartes Master Remiel Or slay a dragon with a fork.
There is a mod for getting staffs to shoot forks like a automatic rifle.
What mod is this and why haven't I heard of it
Hyper mundane it's not a mod. The knife and fork wre made as jokes by bethesda. The knife can be found a few places while the fork can only be found on the porch in Honeyside in Riften
I know that now XP. I didn't find them until I had mods, so it gave me the wrong idea
I remember one time I got bored and made a cheat character for roleplay who dual wielded enchanted kitchen knives.
The funny part was that it actually worked pretty well.
dammit puma. i had just finished your borderlands and fallout series lol. but in all seriousness thanks for these videos man, i love them!
good thing skyrim isnt call of duty if it was the knife would 1 shot anyone
Cheessecake it would be in a supply drop for this specific knife.
pretty easy to kill with a knife look at the survival rate of a gut stab.
Cheessecake Good thing Skyrim isn't.. call of duty? What?
HUMILIATION
What? Starter weapons? Wooden swords that you give to your kids and axes come on man
yeah this should have been for weapons like the Rueful battle Axe that are unique with crappy stats,
Son Gohan he is kind of stating the obvious here.
Bruh the axe from Clavicus Vile is better than a daedric one + you can get at level 10!!!! (Bethesda you fucked up Vile's quest in oblivion and Skyrim Oblivion: Umbra or Masque? Skyrim: Best axe or Masque?)
Son Gohan Still A Weapon
Worst arrow could also be reikling spear as they don't even go a few metres away when fired.
You should be able to dual wield the fork and knife for bonus damage
I don't like saying stuff like this, but is this whole list a joke?
9: the lowest tier of all weapons. which are that way on purpose
8: the long bow. again the lowest tier weapon of its kind. also mentions 'practice' arrows. which are for practice. also, the long bow has the fastest draw speed of any bow that isn't zephyr
7: the pickaxe and woodcutters axe. admitted in the video that they are for utility. not combat. no wonder they are weaker.
6: the headsmans axe. i kinda agree with this, even though it is the lightest and longest two handed weapon.
5: the dragon priest dagger. also agree with, as its so pretty for being as weak as it is.
4: the shiv, related to one quest and that is all. obviously not meant for actual combat.
3: the wooden sword. admitted in the video it is not for combat.
2: the knife. a kitchen tool, again admitted in the video is not for combat.
1: the fork. again, admitted in the video is not for combat.
why is over half the list weapons NOT INTENDED TO BE USED FOR COMBAT ANYWAY.
Pickaxes and The woodcutters axe Aren't Even weapons they Just cut wood or Mine!
Mr. Grizzles no. U can use them in combat.
if you see an npc in assassins creed and kill him, you can use his broom as a weapon, and its kinda op
But they suck as Weapons
The reason they can be used as weapons is immersion. It's completely up to the player to use it as a weapon. And they had to categorize it somewhere, and wouldn't it be just a little weird to find your axe and pickaxe not under weapons
Ewan Bunford its becuase they arent supposed to be weapons its most likely just for realism that they can be used in combat.
mate, you have no idea how helpful with video is. thank you for making it. without it, I'd be lost.
Actually, at the start of the game, you can get Imperial Swords, which are equivalent to Steel Swords.
The draw speed of the longbow is the best though. That's something at least.
Jonathan Gréen I thought the bound bow was the fastest.
Thought Zephyr or Bound Bow got a tad faster, yeah.
Gratuitous Lurking true, zephyrs is very fast. Had totally forgotten about that one. With the fast draw perk it's the medieval version of a machine gun.
I thought it was one of the slowest? It feels like that
That Creepy Face Stronger the bow the slower draw speed it has. With some exceptions like the guy mentioned above.
When it comes to the axe and pickaxe, the way I see it is that if you're out doing homesteading, and some mook-tier enemies show up to try and eff you up, and you don't know how to use the Favorite function to rapidly switch weapons, and for some reason, you don't feel like stopping the game to open your inventory and change weapons that way, you still have a weapon in your hands that you can use to fend the enemies off with. It's also a bit on the immersive side; a homesteader defending their property from bandits with the very tool that will help them build their new home.
I like iron weapons bcuz of their looks, that's all.
then you are correct
I've started playing Skyrim for the first time 3 days ago and I already knew this information.
I just love how he had some starter most basic weapons Instead of choosing some unique or later game weapons to choose
Best and Worst *unique* weapons next.
Nathan Baker puts chillrend the god sword on the worst list
wtf really
Watching u beat that bear to death with the wooden sword was funny for me lol
I know another way you can get a fork if you finished the dark brotherhood quest line and you keep the gourmets writ of passage in your inventory a random encounter will spawn where a guy will be traveling on the road to whiterun from windhelm he will say some stuff (I don’t remember what he says) and then you will have the dialogue option of “I am the gourmet” then he will give you his fork (fsr)
Just a normal fork
Those weapons are as good as your Microphone.
Do worst shouts next
Navarro Base Commander and whispers
Any shout that focuses on pure damage. So Frost Breath and Fire Breath are the worst, unless you have the Dragonborn expansion.
How about they judge all shouts and whispers, judging them by usefulness
how is a shout that focuses on damage bad? i use those the most next to unrelenting force.
MindrapeJr because the damage is very small; about equivalent to two swings with a decent weapon. Not worth the long cooldown. Compare that to a shout like Slow Time, which gives you several free shots, or Marked for Death, which basically lets you slice through anything like butter. Dragon Shout cooldowns are way too long to waste on a small bit of damage

TO SPAAAAAAAACE!!!
I freaking died! 😂😂😂
you only use kahvozein's fang for the quest and you need to be lvl 90 in alteration to even get it so by that time you should have daedric or dragon weapons.
He's right on the worst weapons, but I don't think he noticed that some "weapons" aren't supposed to be used as weapons, but for realism they let you. For example the pickaxe and the wood cutting axe are for utility and have there own uses. Not to be used as weapons. Also the practice arrows you guessed it are practice arrows. Not for a real battle for practice. Otherwise he does a good job. Not hating just what I noticed.
Most of these weapons can be used for more than fighting. If you really wanna go technical about it, why use any sword if you can summon one. It weights nothing and can easily be summoned with moderate damage. The dragon priest dagger or fang is a special weapon which can be displayed in a case. Any bow or arrow becomes deadly except the practice arrow when your sneak and archery skills are full. To the point where you can kill a giant, mammoth or dragon in less than 5 shots using iron arrows. Pickaxes and fire axes. Who uses this as a weapon? Besides you forgot about the Nordic pick axe on top of the throat of the world. The headsman axe is also a special weapon which can be displayed, unless you want to display you're 10th Deadric sword. I have a wooden sword just to remind me that I use bows. If you wanna fight with knifes and forks I would consider you a homicidal maniac and suggest that you buy a meat cleaver.
notched pickaxe* nordic pick is in solstheim or however you spell it
Sorry, my bad. never picked it up but I know it's there
its got a decent enchant
If it gives you double ore production sure. But using at as a weapon, not really.
shock damage and improves smithing, it's only like 5 or 10 shock damage so it's meh
For a second there i thought he wasn't gonna put in the knife and the fork but yet he did👌
Long bow? Weak? Ohoho, I'll be back, huehue, I'll be back..
*Runs to Dragonsreach and does the Fortify Restoration Glitch*
yo if you made more skyrim videos I would watch the FUCK out of them. I hope other people wanna see this content too, that way you could possibly get more fans from the Skyrim community or something
the headsman's axe has the longest reach of any melee weapon
Stefan Nilsson Well, Theres the bloodskaal blade
yeh but that would be magic wouldnt it?
AH_Joshio It actually is not
i know i mean range as in not using the power
custom enchants headmans axe with that range das pretty good
I think the Headsman Axe is really good because it has the longest range of all weapons. You can keep range with the enemies not even hitting you.
Btw. sorry for my English, it's not my main language. :)
U did good
The knife and fork are great weapons if you want to play as a crazy chef. You can put insane enchants on them and make them really powerful. I tried this build out and is one of the most amusing builds I've ever done.
Tbh, its nice to see you make more diverse videos. Keep up the good, diferent vids.
Knife and Fork combined allows you to eat your enemys, obviously.
top 6 worst weapons:
Iron sword
Iron waraxe
Iron mace
Iron greatsword
Iron battleaxe
Iron warhammer
done
In Helgen you could take the Imperials swords so you can upgrade even before you leave the tutorial
most of the weapons on this list were just really low-hanging fruit lol.
the shiv, kitchen knife, wooden sword, practice arrows, like really dude? cmon.
I doubt you set off a PTSD related incident by saying iron weapons suck.
Because that's what "triggering" someone means.
No
1.fork
2.knife
3.wooden sword
4.iron dagger
5.shiv
6.forsworn bow or longbow
7.woodcutters axe
8.pickaxe
9.dragon priest dagger
I said this in order
I'm so glad you got a new mic 😂😂😂
I disagree on the Heasdmans Ax I got that thing up to 300 Damage per strike with full perk tree and enchanting it.and Also, yeas you can upgrade this weapon at a Grindstone. don't lie to the nice people.
Kiyoko504 Headsmans Axe has the furthest range Axe > Dragon
Oi. The Axe If I'm correct can only get updated by an Unofficial patch
Kiyoko504 No, tempering the Headsmans Axe is not possible in the base game.
I was disappointed when I fought the silver hand and got silver weapons only to find out you can't upgrade them that's something that should be changed
but still a good weapon
PoeLaha not really I had smithing lvl 30 so I could make elven weapons and dwarven gear too
Dylan Beach You have to be a higher level
Dylan Beach I believe there's a mod for them to be upgraded &/or built at a forge.
drtbag39 I think you need advance smithing to make and upgrade them but I'm not grinding for 2 hours to get smithing lvl 50 I can't remember the actual level for advance smithing
If you don't purchase the house for the fork and knife it's in a really weird spot under the bridge on the way to the throat of the world, to make matters worse, you can't even see it to start with, you have to shout at it, then dig around for it
that opening clip is a great example of why skyrim is just so full of random moments. a mage ambushing someone in the forest, then out of nowhere a horse starts attacking him, so hes like shit...starts backing up and ends of stood in a river behind a rock getting hit in the face with arrows.
You've had five years to get a better microphone.
I'm... surprised that a Knife and Fork can be used as weapons, Naked Snake playthrough, anyone?
Bobo Magroto you need to find a special set of the knife and fork that actually have damage
I saw this and I was automatically thinking, "cannibal build?"
The Practice arrows from Angie's cabin are from a mini quest , when she gives you 10 arrows you are then timed to see how many targets you can shoot in a certain time slot( I forgot how long) , they are NOT intended for use outside of that mini quest, so I get why he includes them but he should also explain why they exist
Falmer, Forsworn, and practice arrows suck.
Rusty arrows: Hold my 4 damage and extreme rarity.
Wow, the knife and wooden sword aren't good weapons. Never would have known.
No one needs to be told that iron weapons and armor are bad ^^
10:00 the bear behind be like:
"You got this!"
I haven't gotten practice arrows, but I grab Falmer and Forsworn arrows when they appear. No weight, and you can fire them to trigger traps or bounce off rocks to get enemies looking the other way and not have to worry about wasting your good arrows. And they're useful in the middle game for getting those last few Septims out of merchants when all they have is 26 left and you're carrying nothing but high-value loot; nobody is going to have heart pangs over selling junk arrows that came free.
wow so educational you know i didn't knew all this i though they were the best item in the game. Like seriously why make the dumbest video clip of all times. you know what would of better an even better clip? How to upgrade the most weakess weapon into a great weapon.
And to think this was edited...
Alka chaaan!
ya i edited to give the last line of suggestion
acarriere30 I see.
Grammar down the drain...
You didn't add the "Woodsman's friend"?
the dragon priest dagger almost stranded me in the soul carin
Heads man's ax: looks so cool, does so little.
